The Great Tree
Located a few minutes away from a mega portal hub, The Great Tree has become an attraction for many Zenith dwellers. As the oldest tree on the planet, traditions have been passed down for generations resulting in a flourishing fan base that will make the trip to sit alone to reflect or meet loved ones under the tree at least once a year.
Attractions
There are amusement parks nearby with thrilling rides, foods, and entertainment. There's even themed hotels to allow for longer stays, a rarity on Zenith as portal travel allows its inhabitants to travel long distances instantly and many prefer the comforts of their own home.
Cultural Significance
Many young lovers promise themselves to each other under the tree, and in times past, would carve their initials into the tree to mark their enduring love. To protect the tree, the tradition has morphed into having a Memory snapped by park staff and printed onto leaves that are then preserved and hung from branches by string lights. This creates a whimsical effect and the young lovers often return to find their leaf among the many gently swaying in the breeze.
Optional Upgrade: A punch cut of the same leaf is given to both lovers to be worn in jewelry of their choice.
