Yume no Amai was a pretty mature establishment with intimate tables for two.
It looked like a normal upscale cafe if you ignored the live piano player positioned at the side playing soft jazz, the cold air conditioning calibrated for ice cream preservation and the romantic ambient lighting.
Koya and Ichinose were seated at one corner table with menus on their table. Meanwhile, Bobby sat alone at a separate table, completely focused on consuming a large cup of vanilla ice cream like his life depended on it.
'So he can't speak but he can swallow perfectly fine.' Koya thought with an internal sigh as he shifted focus back to Ichinose.
He'd left his manga bag in the car while she had stored hers in her storage ring. Koya had to admit, Ichinose looked quite pretty. The soft lighting made her skin glow.
"So Koya-kun... I didn't know you were that much of a manga fan," she said. "Not many people are into anime and manga these days."
