Chapter 180 - Chapter 180: I Am Destiny

Chapter 180: I Am Destiny

"Get lost!" The Mandarin waved his hand, and a bolt of lightning struck Big Black's chest.

Boom! Sizzle! Sizzle!

A dazzling spark erupted from Big Black's chest, and he fell from mid-air to the ground. Fortunately, the armor Little Black had designed this time was specially upgraded. Otherwise, Big Black would have been disintegrated into black mist by that single attack from the Mandarin.

Bang!

"Little Black, is this armor a defective product?" Big Black supported himself and looked at the black burn mark on his chest left by the lightning.

"Didn't you walk away fine?" Little Black snapped. The armor is one thing, but you shouldn't be so reckless. Besides, the one on top is the boss; charging together is the best strategy.

The Mandarin looked down from above, his face gradually darkening. The situation was completely one-sided. His warriors, who had a numerical advantage, were being beaten and chased around by this group of people wearing bizarre armor.

"Armor?" The Mandarin focused on this detail. If he also had this kind of equipment, his Ten Rings organization would become even stronger. He had also noticed that those people seemed to rely on the belts around their waists to put on the armor.

"I must grab some." The Mandarin made up his mind. He would seize some of the belts and order his subordinates to replicate the armor.

Below

The battle was nearing its end. With the strong support of Little Black's armor, the Black Shadow Ninjas' strength had soared. They were more than a match for these inferior experimental enemies.

"From now on, the Black Shadow Rider Corps is established," Little Black shouted, stepping on an enemy's chest.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Enemies were kicked off the ship one by one by the Black Shadow Riders, falling into the sea. The enemies who fell into the sea wouldn't survive long, as the Black Shadow Riders had already severed their arms and legs before they hit the water.

"Blow them up for me!" The Mandarin could no longer hold back. At worst, he would sink the ship and take those Black Shadow Riders down with him.

"Ah!!!"

The remaining Extremis virus warriors, hearing the Mandarin's command, activated their powers and prepared to explode.

"Tactical retreat!" Little Black directed the Black Shadow Rider Corps to enter the Shadow Realm. They truly couldn't withstand the force of that explosion. However, the enemies' pre-explosion wind-up was so severe that they had ample time to hide in the Shadow Realm.

Boom! Crash!

The deck couldn't withstand the repeated explosions and began to collapse. Surging seawater poured onto the warship. The remaining Extremis virus warriors clung tightly to the railings that hadn't sunk yet.

"No! I don't want to sink!"

"Save me! Save me!"

"Mandarin! My Lord!"

...

Listening to his subordinates' cries for help, the Mandarin showed no emotion. From his perspective, he saw clearly that the Black Shadow Riders had hidden again! So, had all his subordinates died for nothing?

"Am I defeated even before Destiny has shown up?" The Mandarin angrily slammed his fist onto the armrest of the Dragon Throne. The skirmish involving his subordinates counted as the first engagement with Destiny, and he had been completely defeated.

Looking at the visible port ahead, the Mandarin controlled the Dragon Throne to fly toward it. Fortunately, the Ten Rings organization had many people. Although the core members were dead, he could still cultivate more core personnel later.

Crucially, this incident taught the Mandarin a lesson: science is the primary productive force. Those Extremis virus warriors he created were utterly useless.

The Port

Everyone had already fled the port. The warship's location wasn't far from here, and the commotion from the ship had been heard long ago. If they didn't run now, when would they?

The moment the Mandarin flew over the port, the Black Shadow Rider Corps immediately reappeared on the ground.

"Come down here!"

"Rider Kick!"

All the Black Shadow Riders jumped up, executing Rider Kicks, targeting the Mandarin floating in mid-air. From the ground, dozens of streaks of light, defying gravity, flew toward the sky.

"Annoying ants!" The Mandarin spread his hands. Lasers shot out from his fingertips, each one wrapped in crackling lightning.

Boom! Bang!

The clash between the Rider Kicks and the laser lightning illuminated the surroundings like a newly risen sun.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

All the Black Shadow Riders landed on the ground, emanating plumes of white smoke. In the recent clash, they had lost. After all, their current armor only had this function, and even the most basic weapon systems had not been installed.

"Everyone, let's go back," Little Black rose up with a fish jump, telling his comrades.

The Black Shadow Riders nodded. They were useless staying here now, and one by one, they entered the Shadow Realm.

"Aahhh!" The Mandarin was furious in mid-air, pointing at Little Black on the ground. "I'll strike you down, you pink smelly pig!"

"It's magenta, not pink," Little Black drew a card and inserted it into his belt.

"Kha'zix!"

An electronic sound rang out, and a gigantic beast slowly emerged from the Shadow Realm. It growled, "Finally, I can stretch my muscles."

Kha'zix spread the mechanical wings on his back, his dual blades slicing through the air with a whooshing sound.

"He's all yours," Little Black patted Kha'zix's massive leg.

Kha'zix replied, "Don't worry, leave it to me."

"Is that a mantis man? No, why does it feel different?" The Mandarin was astonished. He could sense that this was the mantis man he had researched, but it looked different now. Half of its body was covered in mechanical armor, it could speak human language, and it possessed intelligence.

"Fear the Void!" Kha'zix controlled his mechanical wings and flew toward the Mandarin.

The Mandarin shot out another laser, but Kha'zix easily blocked it.

"Is that all the power you have?" Kha'zix said, unharmed.

"I'm afraid you'll regret that." The Mandarin waved his hand.

A whirlwind rapidly formed in front of him, engulfing Kha'zix, who was closing in.

"This little wind can't stop me!" The thrusters on Kha'zix's mechanical wings activated at full power, gradually breaking through the whirlwind's control.

"How about adding these?" The ring on the Mandarin's left index finger lit up.

Boom!

Just as Kha'zix broke through the whirlwind and was about to attack the Mandarin, an explosion suddenly occurred in front of him for no discernible reason. Kha'zix was scattered by the impact, retreating to a spot more than ten meters away from the Mandarin.

"A very strange ability," Kha'zix cautioned. He hadn't taken the Mandarin seriously at first, but now it seemed the Mandarin was not that simple. The intelligent chip in Kha'zix's head was rapidly processing, analyzing the best battle plan.

"The rings." Little Black's eyes were fixed on the rings on the Mandarin's fingers. He wanted to research them, too. If he could decipher the rings, the Black Shadow Corps' power would rise yet another level.

"Hmph! I am Destiny!" The Mandarin raised his hands high, even dramatically generating several bolts of lightning, causing thunder and lightning in the night sky.
