Chapter 1 - SS1 - The Manor Animals 1

The Manor shattered, sending the animals flying in different directions at speeds they couldn't quite comprehend. Despite the fact that any being of their level would be torn into shreds at this speed, they somehow remained unharmed.

The Chicken stayed still in shock as stars flew past him like orbs of light.

When he could finally comprehend what was happening, he found himself on a field.

Around him were the noises of chickens. Not intelligent, great chickens like him, but inferior chickens that knew nothing of language. For just a second, he had been excited. It instantly turned into disdain for those around him.

They were walking around like idiots, pecking at the ground for food.

The chicken shook his head.

"This won't do."

He raised himself high and spoke. "Alright. Line up!"

The chickens paused hearing the voice, their heads slowly understanding what he had said. They all came over, surrounding him.

"Get in formation. Line up wing to wing!"

The chickens were momentarily confused before slowly following his instructions.

They lined up in a long line, staring at the chicken. After a moment, one of the chickens pecked at the ground. The Chicken snapped his head towards it and smacked it in the face with one of its wings.

"Rule number 1, no more pecking at the ground. We are chickens. We are a race second to none. Hold your heads high, and your pride higher."

The chickens nodded.

The sound of a hinge creaking sounded out behind the Chicken. He turned around, and saw a human with a small, sharp weapon.

Behind him was a child no older than 7.

"You've grown older, and one day, this farm will be yours. Everyday, we eat a chicken. You are old enough to learn how this works. Go pick out a chicken and bring it over here." The farmer said.

He looked up, and was confused. He saw the chickens all lined up wing to wing.

The child didn't think anything of it and wandered over. He set sights on the Chicken.

The child walked over to the chicken and held out his hands.

"Come here." The child said.

The chicken's eye twitched. He smacked the child in the face.

The child didn't know how to react.

The chicken back handed him, slapped again, back handed again, ten times before stopping. There was a red mark on the child's face.

He stared at the Chicken blankly.

The Chicken took a deep breath before shouting.

"DON'T YOU EVER, EVER, TRY SOMETHING LIKE THAT AGAIN YOU LITTLE SHIT!"

Both the child and the farmer were more surprised that the Chicken could speak english than the fact that the child had just been slapped.

"Now, bring me to your god." The Chicken said after calming down.

The child was confused, but the farmer rushed over and grabbed him.

"Are you some beast lord descended to our mortal plane?"

The Chicken raised his head high. "Something like that. Now bring me to your god."

The farmer nodded, not daring to hesitate. They began to walk away, the farmer sending his child back home. After just a few steps, the Chicken stopped.

He turned around and spoke. "What are you doing? Follow in formation."

The chickens tilted their heads before slowly falling in line. With how powerful the chicken was, his voice naturally transformed into perfect instructions in their minds. They fell into formations, lines of chickens side by sides in rows of five.

The farmer nervously brought them to a distant land over the span of a few days. Here, a crystal floated in the air. It was clearly mystical.

"I cannot go any further." The farmer said nervously.

The Chicken just waved him off. "Go on somewhere. I don't need you now."

The farmer breathed a sigh of relief and ran away.

The Chicken walked up the crystal and knocked on it a few times before some sort of power descended. "Who dares touch the crystal?!"

The voice boomed out for miles and miles. The Chicken merely snorted. A figure formed from a bluish power and looked at the Chicken.

"A mere chicken?" The being was clearly confused.

"Mere!?" The Chicken retorted angrily. "I dare you to come here and say that to my face."

The figure was momentarily shocked by the Chicken's words, before becoming enraged.

"Come down myself, how about you survive a single attack of mine?"

The sky cracked as a golden bolt fell from the heavens. The Chicken snorted in disdain. "SCRAM!"

The golden bolt shattered.

The Chicken was as powerful as a Space Shattering realm cultivator. That bolt had merely come from a Void Traversing realm cultivator.

The figure, which had not dispersed, was shocked.

The Chicken didn't give it time to properly react. He flew into the air and waved his feathers. A phoenix appeared, carrying the Chicken and his followers into the sky, where that bolt had come from.

A figure sitting in a palace panicked. He pressed a button, alerting a superior. The signal went out, but the Chicken arrived before he received any sort of response.

The human man was worried.

"Who are you and what do you want with this planet?" He asked.

"Are you the master of this world?" The Chicken asked.

"I am one of its overseers. If you want to talk to my superior, I should get a response any moment now." The human said.

The Chicken nodded, waiting for something to happen. A few moments later, a signal descended from the sky and formed a screen.

"What is it?" A voice asked.

"Sir." The human said. "I have an issue here."

"What?"

"There is someone, um, what's your name?" The human asked.

"You can just call me Lord Chicken." The Chicken said.

The Human nodded awkwardly. "There is some named Lord Chicken that wanted to speak to you."

"Um, sure." The voice said, clearly confused.

The Chicken looked at the screen. "Come down and bow before me, slave."

The human man looked on in shock. The voice didn't speak for a moment before he heard a laugh. "I'll come down there all right. See if you can make me bow down."

A pressure immediately descended upon the entire planet as a figure flew over from a distant place.

The pressure was on the level of a Lesser Dao Creation realm Cultivator.
