Quasi-Elite Four-level strength was already considered quite impressive in this tournament.
Even so, in Shiko's eyes—and before his Dragonite—it was still nowhere near enough.
"Let's go!"
Joaquín had regained control of his emotions.
Although he could already foresee the outcome, he still wanted to fight to the very end.
"BOOM!"
Conkeldurr sensed Joaquín's determination.
It gripped the two concrete pillars in its hands and slammed them heavily against the ground.
The impact made the entire battlefield tremble.
After sensing the fighting spirit radiating from Joaquín and Conkeldurr, Shiko was more than willing to grant their wish.
The next second, Shiko merely gave Dragonite a meaningful glance.
Dragonite immediately understood.
It exchanged a look with Conkeldurr.
At that moment, its overwhelming Dragon Pressure erupted without restraint.
The terrifying pressure even affected the Pokémon battling in the nearby arenas.
For a moment, the battles taking place on the other fields inexplicably faltered.
It was at that exact moment that Dragonite finally moved.
Its body suddenly shot several hundred meters into the sky.
In an instant, it had shrunk into a tiny yellow speck.
At the same time, the powerful Dragon Pressure surrounding it vanished.
Dragonite had compressed all of it into its own body.
Not only that, but a terrifying wave of killing intent began spreading around it.
In the next instant, every muscle in Dragonite's body tensed.
Its physical strength was pushed to the absolute limit.
WHOOSH!
Dragonite suddenly plunged toward Conkeldurr like a falling meteor.
Its speed was pushed to the extreme.
To everyone watching, it resembled an enormous yellow star plummeting toward the earth.
That was—
The moment they saw it, every spectator in the venue held their breath.
Excitement spread across their faces.
It was one of the most powerful moves available to Dragon-type Pokémon!
Dragon Rush!
Beyond the Dragon-type energy contained within the move itself, the most important sources of its destructive power were the user's speed and physical strength.
Dragonite's strength was naturally exceptional.
Even among Dragon types, it was an outstanding physical attacker.
As for its speed, there was even less need to question it.
It was said that Dragonite could circle the entire globe in only sixteen hours.
That speed was nothing short of astonishing.
With all those factors combined, along with Dragonite's existing Elite Four-level strength, there was no need to explain just how powerful this Dragon Rush would be.
"Bring it on!"
When Joaquín saw the yellow meteor descending toward them, a violent chill ran across his scalp.
Was this the power of a pseudo-legendary?
This attack was far too terrifying!
However, as he stared at the incoming strike, a fanatical light soon appeared in Joaquín's eyes.
The next second, he roared at the top of his lungs.
"Conkeldurr!"
"Don't be afraid! Use Dynamic Punch and meet it head-on!"
Joaquín truly lived up to his appearance as a muscular martial artist.
The idea of backing down from a direct clash seemed completely foreign to him.
From beginning to end, his fighting style had always been straightforward, explosive, and entirely focused on meeting his opponent head-on.
Even when facing an attack as overwhelming as Dragonite's, he showed no fear whatsoever.
He actually gave Conkeldurr such a reckless command.
Conkeldurr was every bit as fearless as its Trainer.
It genuinely followed the order without hesitation.
The next second, the two Pokémon collided violently.
BOOM!
The sound was like a deafening thunderclap exploding directly across the ground.
A series of terrifying blasts erupted through the venue.
In the following instant, an enormous shockwave swept outward.
The entire stadium shook violently.
Several spectators who had not been sitting securely were thrown directly from their seats.
Everyone turned toward the battlefield at the same time.
All they could see was the enormous arena constructed from solid stone.
Under the force of the collision, the entire structure had been instantly shattered into powder.
Conkeldurr had already lost consciousness.
Its injuries looked extremely severe.
Several of its bones appeared to have been broken.
Dragonite, on the other hand, was completely unharmed.
It hovered calmly in midair, gently beating the dragon wings on its back.
With an utterly composed expression, it looked down at the unconscious Conkeldurr below.
