At the very instant those razor-sharp Psycho Cuts were about to touch everyone's bodies, a sudden crisp crack rang out from the seemingly indestructible psychic barrier.
The abrupt sound made everyone instinctively turn toward it.
A huge tear split open across the surface of the barrier.
A streak of yellow light swept in, darting through the crowd like lightning.
He was here!
Among the crowd, Himeko's eyes flashed with intense joy and excitement, along with an indescribable sense of reassurance.
Although she could not clearly make out what that streak of yellow light actually was, the familiar feeling it carried was more than enough for Himeko to confirm that this ray of light could only be Shiko!
Only him!
Only he had the ability and the courage to endure Mew's oppressive aura and rush over to save everyone!!
Sure enough, after that yellow streak shot through the crowd, it stopped in the central area.
A mighty dragon warrior clad in Chrome Digizoid battle armor appeared before everyone's eyes!
WarGreymon had made his entrance once again!
Shiko had no time to care about the looks everyone was giving him.
The moment he raised his head, the razor-sharp blades were already closing in.
In the next instant, the two pieces of Brave Shield behind his back detached and merged into a single shield, fastening itself onto his arm.
He lifted that arm across his body and raised it high, the face of the shield aimed toward the storm of blades descending from above.
The Courage crest engraved on it, like a blazing sun, spun and shone without pause.
Amid the intense flashes of light, that Brave Shield rapidly expanded with a whistling roar.
In the blink of an eye, it became like an enormous dome spanning overhead, shielding everyone in the entire base beneath it!

Clear collision sounds rang out like a torrential rainstorm.
After clash upon clash, what followed was the sound of those sharp psychic blades shattering apart.
This overwhelming commotion lasted for more than ten full minutes before finally coming to a stop.
Shiko straightened up.
The Brave Shield instantly shrank back to its original size.
Then it detached from his arm, split into two once more, and returned behind his back like a pair of wings.
He raised his head.
His icy gaze locked onto Mew in the sky.
Up above, the pink Pokémon floating in midair was also staring at him.
Two beings at the level of Second-tier Legendaries had collided once again.
The atmosphere instantly became thick with the smell of gunpowder.
Shiko sharply sensed the intense hostility and hatred in Mew's eyes.
But Mew still remembered how badly it had been defeated by him.
Clang!!
A metallic tremor rang out.
Dragon Slayer snapped out, gleaming with a cold and deadly sharpness!

Then he would beat it down again until it was!!
His overwhelmingly domineering posture instantly left the Northern Military Division personnel inside the base dumbfounded.

After hesitating in that brief standoff for a moment, Mew actually turned tail and fled, shooting away from the area like a ray of light!!

What was that supposed to mean!?
That Second-tier Legendary had actually chickened out!?
