Sometime later, I finally got home. I opened the door and the creaking sound echoed through the quiet house, mom wasn't home yet. I sighed deeply - I was exhausted. The awakening ceremony really took a lot from me. Gradually I made my way up the stairs and straight to my room. I laid on the bed for a while, looking at the wooden ceiling- lost in thoughts. Almost everything in the Awakening ceremony seemed to change, what had me perplexed was the fact that the soon-to-be strongest being alive also awakened as a monarch. (Monarchs was another term used to describe the rulers). Originally, there were only twelve rulers in rank. If Vikir awakened as one, that means their numbers had diminished by one- bringing them to Eleven in total, only the thought of it gave me goosebumps.Another astonishing fact that had me disturbed was the fact that there was a god in my novel- Eyes of the chronicles. In the original timeline I had never written anything like that.
"Ughh" The thought alone made my brain strain. Amidst the head ache, my brain finally recalled the entire encounter with the Eyes of the chronicles. I jolted up and sat upright. Then summoned the awakening board.
"...open"
The golden template screen appeared, hovering within my field of view.

"Wait..what?!" I complained, The messages I received during my encounter with the Eyes of the chronicles were not here- not even a single one. As if in my aid another board appeared in front of me.

Looking at the board again was completely mesmerizing. But the only issue I had with it was- my technique "Void Thanaturge" this was basically necromancy and I really hated to mingle with the dead. Another thing that caught my attention was the "void core", presently I have only 2% out of 20. Naturally after awakening, awakeners only had voidblood ratios that increase via the vessel's capacity and capability to grow stronger. But surprisingly I had- void core, "does it increase the same way" I thought.
Ding!
Before I could contemplate more on it the system's notification appeared.
[Notification: Aspirant, your technique Void Thanaturge requires an activation word]
"Activation word?" I muttered. Due to my vast sense of novels and mangas before I transmigrated. It was easy to find the perfect word- I needed something short and easy to remember, especially in battle. After a while, I finally came up with the word- Recall.

'Whoaa…"I stood staring at the screen- mesmerized.
"shit" I was lost in the information, I began drooling. "This_" it felt like the system was tutoring me on my own technique, I was definitely different from an average necromancer, it was more like I am higher-level. And now I needed three more words to complete my "four-word function".....
After lots and lots of thought I finally came up with the perfect words.
"Erasure- Null"
"Commanding- stand"
"Dismissal- Return"
Since I already gave a word for summoning, there was really no need to change it.

"Protocol.."what did the system mean by that? I really paid it no attention and laid back down on the bed. A smirk carved on my face, I slowly closed my eyes and Slept away.
