Annie POV
I was in the institute as I was training as the
X-Men went on a mission as I checked to view it as a mob is harassing a little girl cause she looks different as she has different shade of skin that is orange like with big bug eyes as that is making me angry.
I got up to teleport there as I see the mob as the X-Men put up a defense perimeter surrounding the child who's own mother and father is calling her a freak as the little girl has tears coming as that hurts my heart.
As I teleported there in the sky above to see the little girl in my arms as she clutched her doll as she looks at me as I smile at her with those big beautiful eyes.
Annie: Hello princess, were you scared?
She cutely shook her head yes as I smile to hug her.
Annie: No need to be afraid anymore, the mean people can't get you up here. You wanna see something fun?
She nodded yes as I smiled to created birds made of light as they flew around her as she is awe as she held hand out as the bird landed on her hand.
It chirped as the little girl giggled as I smiled as this has made my heart happy.
Annie: Do you want to come with me?
She nodded her head yes as I smiled as I teleported us else where which was back to the school as I walked us in as the Professor came in.
Charles: So that's where the little girl went?
Annie: Yeah, tell the X-Men I'm sorry but hurting a child, not gonna let happen when she's got those cute big eyes.
Charles: The team knows just make sure you tell them your doing that from now on.
Annie: Alright but I think that she should stay with me for now, until she's ready to meet new people really.
Charles: Very well.
Annie: Come on little one, will take this adventure to the backyard.
I carried her to the backyard as we head to the garden as I made light butterflies as she plays with them as I smiled at her.
Then the X-Men walk to see me.
Cyclops: There she is!
They walked to me with Summers having something to say.
Cyclops: Who do you think you are!
I put my hand up.
Annie: Your not really gonna yell with a little girl who experienced that very same thing today are you?
Jean walked up.
Jean: She's right Scott, the little girl has had enough yelling for today.
Cyclops clenched his teeth to walk away as I said thank you to jean silently as she nodded as the rest of the team put there thumbs up at me as the little girls mutation is the power to manipulate physics.
It's very good ability as it allows things to go her way.
But seeing her smile and laugh after the day she's had, makes it good.
