Takaki worked hard to create the VR Zombie game. But, if Takaki himself had to rate the game, he would give just a pass grade. The core problem is the nature of points itself. Takaki can create anything from points but what he creates is limited to what he can imagine.
Seraphina can create anything from Takaki's ideas but she does not have the ability to fix his mistakes. This resulted in a game which is not entirely perfect.
While Takaki was seriously contemplating all this with a serious expression, his sister misunderstood that he was sad because she did not let him buy what he wanted,.
"Listen, Takaki."
With Mizuki's words Takaki comes back to his senses.
"What is it, sister?"
"Well, about that VR capsule-"
Before Mizuki could complete her words Takaki suddenly stands up.
"Wh-what's wrong all of a sudden?"
"Sister. You love your brother, right?"
Takaki asks with sparkling eyes. His sparkles from the eyes fall on Mizuki and she raises her hand as a form of defense against his puppy eyes.
"Yes. So, Tell me what you want. But before that can you calm down for a bit?"
Takaki sits down in the chair and coughs a little. seeing this Mizuki also sighs with relief.
What Takaki needs the most right now is points and evaluation of his game. But, ANY-net is too big. So, releasing a new VR game would and having a player would require the luck of the devil.
To get his game noticed either he has to release his game on famous platforms or get his game promoted. Both require money. And even though ANY-net is untraceable and anonymous it is only limited to the platform. That is the reason Takaki used his precious first wish to create a gaming platform.
As long as Takaki does not do something foolish and expose his information, no one can track him as long as he operates within the confines of website Seraphina created for him.
What Takaki wants is a smooth and happy Isekai life. And this is just the beginning. So, Takaki wants to avoid risks as much as possible.
Takaki almost forgot about the solution right Infront of his eyes. His sister.
To convince his sister, Takaki makes up as story.
After listening to his story, Mizuki asks with a thoughtful expression.
"So, You want me to play a VR game?"
"Yes, I want you to play it on a livestream."
Hearing the word livestream, Mizuki flinches a little.
In the world of VR technology, streaming has evolved and it became one of the most popular professions. His sister Mizuki is an aspiring streamer, but due to her work, she does not stream regularly. It is like a hobby for her.
Suddenly Takaki remembers that he had not asked his sister if she had decided on a theme and asks her.
"Well, Sister, if you have already decided on the content, you can stream the game another time."
"I thought of doing a casual stream, so playing a game is not a problem for me. But I was thinking about the studio you mentioned."
"What about it?"
"You said that they created a platform and they are going to release their first VR game soon. Right?"
"Yes. A senior from my work at that shady company is promoting that studio. From what I have heard, they are going to release a demo Tonight."
" It's kind of rare. I mean, a studio like that."
"What made you say that?"
"Well, Creating a platform on ANY-net is requires a large number of resources. And a platform for a VR game, only the big companies have it. Nobody really invests in a VR game. But the studio you mentioned created a platform before even releasing their first game."
For a second Takaki was at a loss for words. Because to a third person, it may seem that way but he didn't really think about it. In this age, where VR games are almost non-existent. A completely own platform for a VR game is definitely a kind of luxury.
After Lunch Takaki adjusts his platform to look simple. As the platform is generated by Seraphina, it has many features. After thinking, he temporarily hides the features and makes the platform look as plain as possible.
While Takaki was in a dilemma about his game earlier, Seraphina offers to make a demo of the game and suggests him to release it. But seraphina can only take a part of Takaki's game and simplify it. Takaki thinks it is a good idea to see how others react and modify the game based on what the viewers are expecting the most. After fixing the major issues first, he can fix the minor ones slowly.
Of course, Takaki was the one who set the release time of the demo. He set it so that his sister would have enough time to prepare for her stream.
Just before the Launch of the demo Takaki logs in using his VR goggles and enters his Sister's VR space. Every VR user can have their VR space which they can customize as they please and and regulate who can enter.
Mizuki's VR space is simple. Just a room with an Old School style computer. Takaki sits beside her as Mizuki logs in to the ANY-net and opens the platform. Seeing Mizuki's reaction Takaki realizes a crucial detail.
He made the platform too simple.
"Takaki"
Hearing Mizuki Takaki turns his head to the side and says
"Don't ask me. I don't know anything."
Seeing her brother feel that way when she did not even say anything, Mizuki doesn't know how to react but she suddenly feels.
"I don't know what I did but I am sorry...But, are you sure the demo is released today?"
"Why are you suddenly asking that ?"
"I mean, there is not even an announcement."
At those words an invisible arrow pierces Takaki. He completely forgot about releasing an announcement. He screams at himself internally. BEfore he could recover
"And what is with this naming sense. It's... how do I put it? Kind of unique. Who in the world would name their studio sleeping squirrel."
With those words, Takaki's heart gets shattered completely. Takaki blanks out and faints on the spot.
Mizuki rushes over to him
"Takaki, stay with me. hey, what happened all of a sudden?"
Takaki only mutters
"No good. I am trash. A Trash. I want to die"
[but you are already dead host. the probability of reincarnation if you die again is close to zero.]
Takaki only screams internally.
"Be a little considerate seraphina"
