Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 Talent and Effort (2)

The position of Family Head?

To outsiders, this was an extremely valuable position, but in the eyes of Chinatsu and Gojo Satoru, it was nothing more than inviting trouble upon themselves.

Chinatsu: What do I need the position of Family Head for? Even if I don't become the head, I can still achieve financial freedom. Sitting in the Family Head's seat just means having to handle a pile of troublesome matters.

Gojo Satoru: Speaking of which, I still haven't met the current head of our family. The Family Head really must deal with a lot of troublesome things, right? I'm not interested, but if Sis became the Family Head, that might actually be quite entertaining.

The two of them had actually discussed the matter of who would become the Family Head in private, but since their views on the position were essentially the same, no conclusion was ever reached.

Currently, many members of the Gojo Family had split into two factions based on who they supported, with the majority supporting Gojo Satoru, as a male becoming the Family Head generally had higher acceptance.

However, the squabbling of these factions was completely useless; the final decision lay solely in the hands of Chinatsu and Gojo Satoru.

Could it be that they would have to fight in the end? They were trained in the same system, so they couldn't break each other's techniques... Oh well, get stronger first, and worry about the rest later.

Chinatsu and Gojo Satoru diligently practiced their jujutsu, but mastering "Blue" was not something that could be learned quickly, and the advanced technique "Red" was even more challenging.

In the original work, Gojo Satoru, even after entering his second year at Jujutsu High, still only knew two techniques: Limitless Defense and "Blue."

Yet, even with just these two techniques, Gojo Satoru had few rivals in the Jujutsu World at the time and had reached the level of a Grade 1 Jujutsu Sorcerer.

Aside from their regular jujutsu training, Chinatsu and Gojo Satoru, as the hope of the Gojo Family, naturally could not neglect their physical technique practice.

Although their training schedule filled up their entire day, neither Chinatsu nor Gojo Satoru complained.

Right now, they couldn't even use "Blue," making them like two iron-shelled tortoises. Freedom had to be earned by themselves, not handed out by others. Once they fully matured and became Special Grade Sorcerers, who would be able to stop them if they wanted to slack off?

The diligent efforts of Chinatsu and Gojo Satoru garnered the attention and praise of many adults within the Gojo Family residence, but this was limited to the adult sphere. There were also many children close to Chinatsu and Gojo Satoru's age living in the Gojo Family residence.

Even though they were all family, Chinatsu and Gojo Satoru had completely become "the neighbors' kids" in the mouths of their peers' parents, and the annoyance caused by this situation was imaginable.

If they were only required to train in jujutsu and physical techniques, neither of them would complain, but as they grew older, they were also required to start learning basic knowledge like mathematics and English.

Of course, they weren't going to school; they were hiring Tutors.

"Although they will teach you this kind of knowledge once you attend Jujutsu High, Jujutsu High won't start teaching you from the basics, so studying with a Tutor is very necessary."

The Great Elder said this, then pulled two lists from his sleeve and handed them to Chinatsu and Gojo Satoru, which were their respective upcoming "class schedules."

Upon seeing the schedule, Chinatsu shivered slightly from the depths of her soul. Training jujutsu was fine, but she truly dreaded learning things like mathematics and English.

Fortunately, she had already gone through this once in her previous life. Although many years had passed, the little bit she vaguely remembered should be enough to pass for a "prodigy," right?

With this thought, Chinatsu's gaze continued to scan the schedule in her hand until she saw the three words: "etiquette class."

"..."

Chinatsu fell silent. She slightly raised her head and looked toward the Great Elder in front of her. Although she didn't utter a word, the emotions brimming in her eyes were enough to convey what she wanted to say.

The Great Elder certainly understood Chinatsu's meaning instantly, but he maintained an "amiable" smile on his face.

Chinatsu knew she couldn't resist. She took a deep breath and sighed helplessly.

The schedule in the hand of Gojo Satoru beside her also contained "etiquette class." The Great Elder hadn't singled out Chinatsu; the Gojo Family was a major clan, and learning etiquette was normal.

However, Gojo Satoru paid absolutely no attention to the etiquette class, or rather, he paid no attention to any of the courses on the schedule.

As for whether Gojo Satoru would take the etiquette class seriously... one only needed to look at the lackadaisical attitude of Jujutsu High's Gojo Satoru in the original work to know the outcome.

He took it, but it was clearly almost the same as not taking it at all.

The Great Elder's efficiency was high. The Tutor, whose learning schedule was proposed yesterday, arrived the very next day.

Chinatsu and Gojo Satoru studied in different locations. Leaving Gojo Satoru aside for now, Chinatsu's side was proceeding very smoothly.

As the Tutor asked Chinatsu question after question, only to have them answered with extreme ease, the Tutor froze in place, as if struck by a petrification beam.

In response, Chinatsu, sitting in her chair, let out a long breath. The questions the other party was asking, based on the assumption that she was a child who hadn't even attended kindergarten, were truly too simple for her.

Prodigy~ I'll shamelessly take this title~

Chinatsu smiled faintly, wiggling the corners of her mouth, and then slumped onto the desk like a mollusk, thinking that since she had finished her learning quota so far ahead of schedule, the remaining time should be free for rest, right?

Perfect, I was feeling a little sleepy anyway.

Just as Chinatsu closed her eyes, preparing to take a short nap, the Tutor suddenly broke free from her petrified state, her eyes full of light.

She quickly walked up to Chinatsu and, with a loud "Bang!!!" from her two hands, jolted the dazed Chinatsu wide awake.

Chinatsu lifted her head and looked blankly at her excited Tutor, who extended her own hands and grasped Chinatsu's hands.

"As expected of the Young Miss! To be honest, teaching mathematics and English is only my side job. My true teaching focus and interest is actually etiquette!

Young Miss's talent is so high that we can completely skip the math and English instruction. Since we have so much time left, let's quickly start the etiquette instruction! I will pass on my life's work to the Young Miss!"

While the Tutor's eyes shone brightly and her entire body was filled with fighting spirit, Chinatsu smiled outwardly but was crying internally.

This is what I get for digging my own grave...
