*Klein POV*
As I stood at the top floor deck looking at the now departing aircraft that is hosting this planet's future I could suppress a smile.
'He sure is cute'
I turned around to see Kim, my secretary, looking at me like I was a lunatic. Not that it's anything new but those eyes sure hurts.
'Cute?! You are surely not talking about the one who just left are you? There was not an ounce of cuteness in there' she snapped at me
'Then how did he look through your eyes?' I was quite curious to see how everyone else saw him. In my eyes he looked like a fawn, a little porcupine trying desperately to protect itself.
"In front of him, it felt like the air was sucked out of me. Like my very presence was an unforgivable sin. It was hard to breath. All I felt was fear"
Looking at her face pale just from the memory, I can estimate how scary that encounter was to her. But for some reason the moment I laid eyes on that one, it felt like I found my reason to live, like the life finally had colour and like I could finally.. breath.
I didn't know how I lived life before today. Since I awakened at 19 , I felt this restlessness and void inside. I always thought it was the price of having too many abilities, that was the same reason I was dispatched here, to 'find inner peace'. I didn't know I'll actually find it, in the form of a person at that.

Going back in time, 1553:
I was sat at his desk, toiling away at another document. These nobles surely make all sorts of headaches and then asks me to patch them up. I want to quit. I want to feel the sweet breeze of that holiday planet , with a glass of their finest Margaritas and the knowledge I am responsible for nothing liberating me. Aaah dreams sweet dreams.
Suddenly the door flew open, Ray ; the head of security came in, grinning like he won the lottery. "You won't believe this, we caught a big one" , he said smirking.
"What do you mean, who showed up?" , I asked.
The military had cast a wide net trying to catch a big fish, "Armageddon" . An organisation that suddenly started blooming just before the end of the planet Earth, since then they have shown their dirty claws everywhere. They are an enigma, no one knows what their objective is, little is known about their existence and hierarchy. One thing is that they worship their leader like a god, at least the top brass do. It was classified as a cult at one point because of that.
They had recently been detected on the outskirts of the Alliance, assumed they were looking for a certain precious metal. To draw them out the military spread rumours that certain amounts of that metal is stored here along with 5 other locations. All locations are at standby for their infiltration at anytime.
"You won't believe it! Someone radiating magic aura walked in like nothing. Did they really think the alliance are idiots?" Ray said
"So where is that one now? Dungeons?" I asked
"No.. the VIP room", Ray answered sheepishly
lol, right, the VIP Room. Eh… the which room!? Did you want to entertain them or detain them?" I said slamming the desk.
"Oh, no no! It's just a strategic option! .. ok . Don't look at me like that, if I didn't know how much you adored me I would have thought you wanted to kill me!!. Anyway, it seems our rookie 'appraiser' almost wet his pants. So they escorted him to the VIP room. Our rookie said this place would collapse in a whale fight if you two clashed" , Ray said dramatically.
As annoying he is, and as much as I would love to punch him sometimes I know he wouldn't joke about something like this.
"What is the current situation" I asked, withholding a heavy sigh.
"IT have been looking for this one for last, 7-8 min. No luck. He is more of a ghost than that ghost unit, sorry boss but this is out of our hands. Apparently he had said he was here for an ability assessment exam. As if anyone would believe that"

Fast forward to me walking into that room: before walking in I felt weary, like living itself was an obligation, but the moment I opened that door and laid eyes on him, I felt "Alive". Like my bubble had burst and I could see the world again. Like I have found my long lost brother. I almost cried!! I felt genuine happiness from my soul, that I didn't know was humanly possible.
Every minute there , getting to see how his emotions changed differently from his face, was entertaining. His colours were "clean" and his emotions radiant under the "eye of the soul" ability. It was easily the most beautiful thing I had ever seen.
I can't say I wasn't shocked when that announcement happened, but I was also happy that this planet finally had a fighting chance and that he was the reason why. I felt I would go on one knee and swear my allegiance at that moment with how happy I was!!
Anyway, enough with this, the boss gave orders, I will not disappoint!!
