"Three hundred million?"
"That is way too much, Mr. Ward. Moving that much money at once will draw attention, and this needs to stay confidential. No one can know that the money went to me, otherwise both of us could end up in trouble."
Zayne frowned as he spoke.
Blake frowned as well, then slowly relaxed his expression.
"Do not worry. It is not a problem, and it will be absolutely confidential. There will not be a third person who knows you received this much money."
As he spoke, Blake opened his reinforced safe.
The moment it opened, Zayne realized once again that poverty really did limit imagination. Even his face was bathed in a golden glow.
The safe was divided into two levels. The upper level was filled with stacks of A4 paper, likely important documents.
The lower level was packed neatly with rows upon rows of gold bars, so many that Zayne's breathing quickened.
He had known Blake was rich, but he never imagined he was rich to this extent.
