Chapter 2 - Void Minupulation

As Keaton and the wolf walked towards the village, Keaton realised things had changed. The world seemed bigger and buildings that wasn't there to begin with were now all over the place. But he didn't have time to look as a strange feeling appeared. It was like he was stuck in a bush but more liquidy. He suddenly snapped his head back towards were the mountains were located. The wolf followed his gaze and saw something running towards them at fast speeds. The creature had claws with fire burning on them. It only took a few seconds for the rest of the villagers to realised what was coming. But it was to late the monster had already reached them. It's eyes locked onto Keaton as it's claws descended. Keaton lifted his arm up as if going to block the attack. Suddenly a shield like thing appeared on his arm like a shield and absorbed the hit but some of the impact still got through. 'This monster hits like a truck' Keaton thought, 'wait a minute, what the hell is this thing I've never come across it before.' The monster saw Keaton was open at the side and attacked. 'Warning incoming attack from left, jump to dodge'. Keaton didn't even bother to ask questions he just listened and jumped. The monsters attack went under him just narrowly missing him. 'Fight initiated, summoning void staff,' the voice rang through his head. "Alright I don't know what this is but I'll win no matter what," he shouted. All of a sudden, it seemed space it's self was changing. Then a tiny black ball appeared but not for long as it quickly warped into a long staff. Keaton looked at the monster and smiled. "Let's finish this!" Keaton and the voice in his head exclamed. Keaton landed on the floor and rushed forward unusual fast. He smacked the staff against the monsters leg causing the monster to lose its balance. But he didn't expect that were the staff hit disappeared. The monster didn't lose balance because of getting hit, it lose balance because it's leg had been separated from the rest of its body. Keaton didn't have time think as the monster tried to attack the village again out of desperation but something told him 'hit the flamo claw's back'. He did as it said striking the monster, which he now knew was a Flamo Claw, on the back. To everyone else it looked like the Flamo Claw just disappeared but Keaton knew different. When he had hit the Flamo's back the voice that been helping him said 'Time froze erase or seal the Flamo'. Keaton looked at the Flamo frozen in place and said "I don't know how to seal this thing."

"You need to be level 3 to use a seal" the voice said. "But to erase just hit the Flamo 3 time, You've already done it twice just need the third."

"Alright that's not so har," he replied to the voice. "If I'm caught talking to you I'm probably going to be called crazy." He walked back to the front of the Flamo. "Guess I'll hit your arm as I already hit your back and leg." He lifted up the staff and slammed it into the Flamo's arm. Each spot Keaton had hit started disappearing slowly to begin with but then started to spread up until the rest of the Flamo was gone within 3 seconds. Then time continued. The villagers that were scared stiff looked down at were the Flamo once stood. In the Flamo's place was Keaton. The staff still in his hand but the shield had disappeared back to where ever it was before the Flamo Claw showed up. "How did you beat that thing, Keaton?" The Mayor asked pointing at Keaton. Keaton looked over and put the staff on his back. His eyes had changed they no longer were the same colour as they were before but instead a very dark purple iris. "By fighting it," Keaton replied to the Mayor.

"But how?" The Mayor asked, "We had no idea what that was." Keaton looked back at where the Flamo had once stood. The grass had been scorched in the shape of the Flamo's claws. 'Hay, voice in my head.' He thought. 'Can you tell me anything about the Flamo?'

"Yes I can but you need to finish your conversation first." It replied. Keaton turned back round to the Mayor. "I'm going back to my house for a bit," Keaton told the Mayor. "I'm a bit tired." The Mayor nodded and Keaton walked past him.
