When I first uploaded this, I honestly thought it would just be a small niche thing.
The original idea was simple:
"What if someone seriously did scientific research in the Naruto world?"
"What if Orochimaru had a disciple who treated jutsu like experiments?"
But real science doesn't move because one genius snaps their fingers.
Behind every breakthrough there's:
a lot of people,
a lot of time,
and a lot of dead ends.
One person pushing all that alone is basically impossible—
so I gave the MC a "cheat".
I didn't want that cheat to turn into a giant "I win" button, though.
You've probably noticed already:
aside from things like the Sage Body and three-tomoe Sharingan at the start, the "golden finger" has been pretty low-key.
Going forward, it will stay that way:
it helps,
it nudges,
but it doesn't carry everything.
The big stuff—
research into bloodlines, new techniques, upgrades like Mangekyō and even Eternal Mangekyō—
all of that still has to be earned through the MC's own experiments, thinking and risks.
No "system: congratulations, here's god mode" out of nowhere.
