Chapter 80 - Northern Light

The move didn't feel like packing up and starting over. It felt more like two lives slowly settling into a new, shared orbit. The place Aaron had "secured" wasn't a house, it was a restored brick townhouse on a quiet, tree-lined street in Fairhaven. It was only a fifteen-minute walk from The Aetherius Collective. The building was old, beautiful, and full of soft northern light, just like Aaron had promised.

The first week was a mix of contrasts. Boxes labeled "Cameron – Books (Do Not Archive)" sat next to crates marked "Blackwood Industries – Secure Files." Cameron's familiar desk chair faced a small garden, while Aaron's sleek chair pointed toward a wall of monitors tracking global markets. Their workspaces shared the same bright study, back-to-back, learning how to exist together.
