Chapter 26 - Chapter 26. Slaying Dragons (18+)

Thursday.

"Mark. We have a problem."

Titan's voice over the encrypted comms channel wasn't just serious; it was tight with a barely restrained panic. In all the time I had known the massive, rock-skinned enforcer, I had never heard him sound genuinely afraid.

"Yeah, talk to me," I said, pausing the financial spreadsheet I was reviewing on my holographic monitor.

"It's Mr. Liu," Titan grunted, the sound of squealing tires echoing in the background as Isotope apparently drove them evasively through the city.

"Liu? Who the fuck—Oh, you mean the old dragon guy?" I asked.

"Yes. He's the leader of a criminal syndicate called The Order. He wants me to break one of his top assassins, Multi-Paul, out of Payton Penitentiary."

Dupli-Kate's criminally insane twin brother, and the guy I just put in bars. I thought, leaning back in my chair. So, it's time for this event, huh?

"I told him no," Titan continued, his voice hardening. "I told him that I was done with the underworld. And that I'm running logistics and security with Invincible Inc. now. I want a stable, legit life for Vanessa and Fiona. I don't need his blood money."

"As you should," I nodded. "So what's the problem?"

"The problem is Liu didn't like the rejection. He thinks I'm disrupting the 'pecking order' of the criminal underworld," Titan growled. "He just had his men do a drive-by past my daughter's school. He left a message. If I don't break Paul out tonight, he's going to enforce that pecking order on my family."

Threatening the family of my business partner? I thought, my eyes narrowing. A terrible business move, Liu.

"Where are Vanessa and Fiona now?" I asked coldly.

"Isotope teleported them to a secure safehouse," Titan replied. "But Liu is making his move. He's heading for the financial district to draw out the authorities while his men hit the prison."

"Alright. Here's the play," I said, standing up and letting the Bio-Reactive Containment Suit form over my civilian clothes. "From what I know from my old man's past encounter with him, Liu's power is spiritual projection. He leaves his old, cybernetic body behind and projects his soul into a giant, mystical dragon. I'll take the dragon. You and Isotope track down his idle body and his bodyguard—The Great Wall. The second you subdue the human body, the dragon disappears. But be sure not to neutralize it or the dragon will have nothing to be restricted too."

"What about the prison?" Isotope's voice filtered through the comms. "If his men hit Payton Penitentiary while we're fighting the dragon, Paul gets out."

I smiled, tapping my earpiece to open a secondary, company-wide frequency. "Don't worry about the prison. I just expanded the payroll. It's time for the new hires to earn their signing bonus."

As I broke the sound barrier heading toward the financial district, my earpiece crackled to life.

"Uh, Boss?" Tether Tyrant's voice filtered through, sounding surprisingly relaxed over the background noise of panicked screaming and melting metal. "We're at the front gates. Magmaniac just turned their assault rifles into fondue."

"And I got three of them!" Oliver's voice chimed in, practically vibrating with excitement over the frequency. "I yelled 'Attention lawbreakers! You are in violation of Invincible Inc. property!' Was that good?!"

"Kid, you gotta work on the one-liners," Tyrant sighed over the radio, followed by the heavy thud of a mercenary hitting the pavement. "But your speed is solid. Prison is secure, Boss. We're tying them up for the cops now."

"Good work," I said, a smirk crossing my face. "Hold down the perimeter. I'll be there after I wrap up here."

I cut the comms just as my target came into view.

Downtown Chicago

The dragon was the size of a skyscraper. Its emerald scales glittered in the afternoon sun as it coiled around a high-rise office building, roaring a challenge that shattered windows for three city blocks.

I didn't give it time to monologue.

I dropped out of the clouds like a meteor, crashing directly into the side of the beast's massive emerald head. The sheer kinetic impact sent it reeling, its massive body smashing through the upper floors of an abandoned office building in a shower of glass and steel.

It roared in absolute fury, righting itself and whipping its massive, spiked tail at me to crush me out of the air.

I didn't dodge. I caught the tail with both hands.

The kinetic shockwave of the impact shattered every remaining window in the district, but I didn't budge a single inch. I spun on my heel, and used the creature's own momentum against it. I swung the thousands-of-tons dragon through the air, brutally slamming it down into the empty street below.

The asphalt cratered, shaking the foundations of the city. The dragon thrashed wildly, snapping its massive jaws at me as I dove after it.

We traded blows in the center of the crater. Every punch I threw cracked its mystical scales with a deafening thunderclap, driving it further into the dirt. It was physically outmatched in every conceivable way, and the beast knew it.

Desperate, the dragon locked its glowing, mystical eyes onto me. It opened its massive jaws and unleashed its absolute last resort: a literal ocean of magical fire.

The inferno swallowed me whole, washing over the entire intersection in a blinding flash.

Magical fire, I thought, standing perfectly still in the center of the blaze. Burns infinitely hotter than standard magma. Fantastic.

My suit's kinetic regulators and thermal conductors instantly went into overdrive. The dragon wasn't incinerating me; it was acting like a mystical supercharger. I felt my internal batteries spike to two thousand percent, the glowing veins on my neck pulsing with blinding, contained energy.

I casually walked out of the inferno, completely unharmed, dusting a bit of soot off my shoulder.

The dragon snapped its jaws shut, its reptilian eyes widening in absolute shock.

"Mark! We got past The Great Wall!" Titan's voice suddenly barked over the comms, panting heavily from his own fight. "We've secured the body! Administering the sedative now!"

"Sleep tight, Liu," I said.

Using the supercharged thermal energy the dragon had just fed me, I sent a localized, concussive pulse straight into the dragon's snout. Just enough to shock the nervous system.

The concussive force violently rattled the mystical construct. The dragon let out a shrieking roar as the sedative simultaneously hit Liu's physical body miles away. Its spiritual form completely collapsed, instantly shattering into a cloud of harmless, sparkling green mist that evaporated into the Chicago wind.

And that's that, I thought as I made my way back to Oliver and company.

Payton Penitentiary

By the time the news helicopters arrived, the streets outside the penitentiary were completely secure.

I stood on the steps of the prison, surrounded by flashing police lights. Behind me, Magmaniac and Tether Tyrant were casually handing over zip-tied mercenaries to the warden, while Oliver hovered nearby, clearly trying to look stoic for the cameras.

A barrage of reporters shoved microphones in my face.

"Invincible!" a reporter from Channel 5 yelled over the chaos. "Those two men behind you are known supervillains! Why is Invincible Inc. utilizing criminals to stop a prison break?"

I flashed a practiced, flawless CEO smile.

"They were criminals," I corrected smoothly, making sure to look directly into the camera lens so Cecil Stedman would see this broadcast. "But Invincible Inc. believes in genuine reformation. We believe in giving people the opportunity to turn their lives around when they show humanity and a willingness to work to become better versions of themselves. They aren't villains anymore. And today, they protected this city's infrastructure. That is what true rehabilitation looks like."

The reporters furiously scribbled notes, completely eating up the PR spin.

Titan walked up next to me, adjusting his suit jacket. He looked relieved.

"Paul is secure in his cell," Titan murmured quietly so the press wouldn't hear. "Liu is in an induced coma and heading for a specialized holding cell. And my family is safe."

"Good work," I said, clapping my business partner on the shoulder.

"There's just one problem," Titan grimaced slightly. "During the chaos at the prison... Machine Head's cell block got breached. He managed to slip out."

I paused, thinking about the arrogant mob boss with the shiny metal skull and the autotuned voice. But, I genuinely couldn't bring myself to care. He was a relic of an old criminal system that was rapidly becoming obsolete, and frankly, I had bigger things to worry about.

"He might try to take over The Order," I said quietly, Titan tensing slightly. "But I wouldn't lose sleep over it. He's smart enough to know when he's at a disadvantage, especially when he hears of how we dispatched Liu as easily as we did. In the meantime we just need to keep an ear to the ground."

I turned my back to the flashing cameras, checking my internal clock.

With this officially handled, I thought, a sudden, unfamiliar nervous flutter replacing the adrenaline in my chest. Which means... tomorrow is the big day.

Friday.

Today's the big day, I thought as I stood in front of my bathroom mirror getting ready for the evening with Eve. The pathway to cheeks awaits shortly.

That's right, the gateway to the promised land.

Uh-huh, the road to nirvana, I thought, brushing my freshly trimmed hair.

Got everything? Reservations Locked? Hotel Room? Protection?

Yep, I acknowledged. Reservations been locked in, I got a pent house ready near the restaurant, and I ain't using protection, I'm just gonna pull—

I blinked haphazardly. What the hell are you doing here, you incarnation of lust?!

Getting ready with you for our date, of course.

Our date?! I questioned.

Yes, our date, It responded. I did a majority of the work last time so I'm tagging in.

No you are not, I retorted. You'll end up ruining the night and causing me grief.

Yes I will, It responded back. Besides, you need me there.

And that would be for what exactly? I quirked a brow.

If the date goes as planned, which it will, Red will expect to be in a committed relationship with you. It began. Something you don't want because your priorities lie with having a "universe to save".

You ain't wrong so far, and that's a good priority, I responded.

Whatever! My priorities are to fun and cheeks. Which we're getting tonight! It projected to me as it started sending me risqué images of Eve. You tag me in tonight and I'll make sure we get those cheeks without falling into the trap of a committed relationship so soon. It's a win-win, my boi.

Mmm, I don't know, I thought apprehensive. This seems pretty important with everything you laid down, and you're not exactly the most disciplined part of me.

Aye, that's why I'm tryna tag in. This is very important. It said, If things—No, when things go well we can have all the cheeks we want without being tied down. Think about it man, no, never mind don't. I think you need some more neuro persuasion.

It released some dopamine into my brainwaves and my body started feeling good.

Yea…Yea. Maybe you got a point. My attitude did a complete 180 in an instant. Let's go get some ass.

Yeaaaaaa! That's what I'm talking about baby! Now let's integrate in 3…2…1…

I let out a slow, steady breath as a wave of absolute, unshakeable confidence washed over me.

I popped the top two buttons of my fit for the evening—a dark charcoal blazer with a button down, undershirt—and flashed a devastating smirk at my reflection in the mirror, then launched myself out the window.

Two minutes later, I touched down silently on the balcony of Eve's apartment.

I didn't even have to knock. The glass door slid open, and she stepped out into the evening air.

She was wearing a sleek, dark red slip dress that hugged her perfectly, her red hair cascading over her bare shoulders.

Goddamn, she's tryna get this di— I told myself, reigning in my focus just enough to keep from drooling.

"Damn girl," I said, letting my eyes slowly rake over her before meeting her gaze. "You're making that dress look even better."

Eve smiled, a faint, highly satisfying blush dusting her cheeks as she stepped closer. She playfully smoothed the lapel of my blazer. "You don't look too bad yourself. So, where is the big bad CEO taking me? William wouldn't shut up about how you were treating this like a military operation."

I'm going to give that bastard a purple nurple later.

I let out a low chuckle, stepping seamlessly into her personal space. "William talks too much. And for the record, this isn't an operation. It's a kidnapping."

Eve raised an eyebrow, a teasing smile playing on her lips. "Is it, now?"

"Mmhmm," I hummed, offering her my hand. "I figured since I can cross the planet in a few minutes, Chicago deep dish wasn't going to cut it tonight. So how about some place more fitting?"

She looked at my hand, then up at my eyes, her smile softening into something genuine.

She took my hand and I pulled her into my chest, wrapping my other arm securely around her waist. She gasped softly at the sudden proximity, her hands resting naturally against my chest.

I extended a frictionless, bio-kinetic aura around us so the wind wouldn't ruin her hair or freeze her at high altitudes.

"Hold on tight," I murmured, right next to her ear.

We shot into the sky.

Three minutes later, the sun was just beginning to set over the Mediterranean Sea. I touched down gently on the private, candlelit terrace of an exclusive, cliffside restaurant on the Amalfi Coast of Italy. I had rented out the entire rooftop for the evening. The view of the ocean, bathed in orange and purple twilight, was flawless.

Eve stepped away from my grip, walking over to the stone railing and looking out at the Italian coastline in absolute awe.

"Mark..." she whispered, turning back to look at me, her eyes wide. "This is... I mean, I knew you were fast, but this is unbelievable."

"Only the best," I smiled, pulling her chair out for her at the candlelit table. "Take a seat. The night's just getting started."

Dinner was an absolute masterpiece of Italian cuisine. I had pre-ordered the chef's tasting menu, so we were hit with wave after wave of handmade truffle pasta, perfectly seared wagyu, and vintage wine that probably cost more than a year of college tuition.

For the first hour, the Libido was driving the ship flawlessly. We were laughing, trading stories about Oliver's terrible one-liners, and absolutely roasting Rex and the Guardians. I was laying on the charm thick, holding eye contact just a second longer than normal, and making sure my hand brushed against hers every time I reached for my wine glass.

Look at us go, the Libido cheered in my head, popping a mental bottle of champagne. My boi, that thing underneath is about to be wet-wet. One more push and we're so in there.

But as the plates were cleared away and we were left with just the flickering candlelight and the sound of the ocean waves crashing against the cliffs below, the atmosphere shifted.

Eve rested her chin on her hand, looking across the table at me. Her smile was still there, but her eyes had turned sharp and perceptive.

"You know," Eve said softly, the playful banter fading into something much more grounded. "You're entirely different from the guy I met a few months ago. It's like a switch flipped overnight."

I took a slow sip of my wine, swirling the dark liquid in the glass. "Is it a bad difference?"

"No," she said, reaching across the table and lightly tracing the edge of my hand with her fingertips. "It's... impressive. But it's also kind of terrifying. Mark, you built a multibillion-dollar company out of thin air. You single-handedly brought Cecil and the GDA to their knees. You look at these massive, world-ending threats like Liu's dragon, and you just swat them away like flies."

She stopped tracing my hand and looked dead into my eyes.

"You carry all this weight now," she continued quietly. "You act like this untouchable CEO, but who is the guy underneath the armor? What are you actually preparing for?"

Damn, the wine must be getting to her.

Tch, damn. She's killing the mood, It said. We gotta work around this.

How? I questioned.

We gotta give her a half truth. Express how you feel without spilling the whole truth.

I mentally nodded and looked down at her hand resting near mine. I turned my hand over, gently interlocking my fingers with hers. Her skin was warm, and she didn't pull away.

"I saw how fragile this world is, Eve," I said quietly. "My old man was just a scout."

Eve's breath hitched slightly, but she squeezed my hand, silently urging me to continue.

"There is an empire out there in the stars," I told her, keeping my voice low so it didn't carry over the wind. "A brutal, uncompromising empire. And eventually, they are going to look at Earth and decide it belongs to them. I'm preparing because I'm terrified of the reality of ever failing the people I care about. So, I decided to hit harder, to build an empire of my own, so that when the real monsters finally show up... they have to go through me first."

Eve stared at me, her eyes wide as she processed the sheer, crushing scale of the burden I had just laid on the table. Then, her gaze softened with profound, overwhelming empathy. She looked at me like I was just a guy trying to hold up the sky.

Hook, Line, and Sinker! The Libido praised. My boi! We got her!

"Mark..." she whispered, her thumb gently brushing across my knuckles. "You don't have to carry all of that by yourself. You know that, right?"

"I'm starting to figure that out," I murmured as I stood up from my chair, keeping my fingers laced with hers, and gently pulled her up to stand with me. I led her over to the edge of the stone terrace, looking out over the moonlit Mediterranean Sea.

We stood close. Really close. The wind caught a strand of her red hair, blowing it across her face. I reached up, and tucked the hair behind her ear, letting my fingers linger against her jawline.

She looked up at me, her lips parted slightly, her eyes searching. The playful teasing from earlier was completely gone.

"Take me out of here," she whispered.

It's time, Go! Go! Go!

I didn't need to be told twice.

I wrapped my arms around her waist, pulling her against my chest. She wrapped her arms around my neck, burying her face in the crook of my shoulder as my bio-kinetic aura flared to life, shielding us from the sudden rush of cold air. We lifted off the terrace, leaving the candlelit table and the half-finished wine behind, shooting across the starlit Mediterranean coastline.

Less than two minutes later, we touched down completely silently on the sprawling, private balcony of the penthouse suite I had secured in Positano.

I carried her inside, the heavy glass doors sliding shut behind us and instantly cutting off the sound of the ocean wind. The suite was dimly lit, luxurious, and completely quiet.

I let my aura drop, gently setting her down on her feet. For a second, we just stood there in the quiet warmth of the room, the moonlight pouring in through the floor-to-ceiling windows.

I have guided us to the promised land, the Libido whispered reverently in the back of my mind, practically taking off its hat and saluting. It's all up to you now kid. Now, go knock it out the park, you magnificent bastard.

LEWD SCENE START:

Eve stepped closer, reaching up to slowly slide the charcoal blazer off my shoulders. It hit the hardwood floor with a soft thud.

"You know," she murmured, her hands trailing up the center of my chest, feeling the dense, coiled muscle underneath my button-down shirt. "For a guy who talks about building empires, you feel awfully tense."

"Occupational hazard," I whispered, my voice dropping low as my hands found her hips, tracing the smooth silk of her red dress. "I'm used to keeping my guard up."

She looked up at me. "Drop it. Just for tonight. Let me in, Mark."

Funny, I was gonna say something similar before I went into her, I thought as I leaned down and kissed her.

She kissed me back with an urgency that matched my own, her hands tangling in my hair. I backed her up against the edge of the king-sized bed, my hands moving with a desperate, careful reverence. My hand found its way firmly on her right cheek, and sunk into it.

Goddamn, I thought as my rubbing made her groan. I knew she had something down here, but I didn't know she had a mini-backery.

Eve, for her part, was not gentle.

She pulled my shirt open, the buttons popping off and clattering against the floor, before wrapping her arms around my neck and pulling me down onto the mattress with her.

The rest of the world ceased to exist.

My tongue swirled around hers as my fingers made their way between her legs. The moment my fingers made contact with her entry point, all I felt was water.

Goddamn, it's like a waterpark down here.

I briefly broke our embrace and began unbuckling my pants, but her hand stopped me.

"Let me do it," she purred in a sultry voice.

She ushered me to take a sitting position. "Alright, but be careful," I warned. "The kickback is like a cannon."

She laughed and rolled her eyes. "Yeah right, don't overexaggerate—"

My dick flung upwards and hit her across her left cheek, causing her mouth to open at what just occurred.

"Told ya," I shrugged as her eyes fixated on my meat, speechless.

"What's going on? You ain't feeling shy now, are ya?" I teased.

She quickly regained herself and grabbed my penis with both hands. Then she stared dead into my eyes without breaking contact and kissed it in the most sensual way I've ever witnessed.

My soul almost left my body again as one hand massaged my balls as the other rubbed the tip of my penis.

Her hands are softer than body butter, I thought as I was starting to lose my mind to her edging.

"Dammit, suck it already," I groaned.

She smirked and briskly took it in, rolling her tongue as she stroked the shaft. Her speed picked up, and she twisted the shaft slowly—really working her wrist.

I couldn't take it anymore. She had me melting like I was honey through her hands. I grabbed her hands and pushed them to the sides as I grabbed her head and began fucking her mouth.

If I'm gonna come, Imma do it on my own terms.

The gagging sounds coming from her, turned me on more. I felt waves of euphoria wash through my body as I came into her mouth.

I pulled my dick slowly out her mouth. Before she tried to spit out the excess, I stopped her.

"Swollow it and show me," I commanded, staring into her eyes.

She stared back for a moment, and slowly swallowed it, then she stuck her tongue out as proof.

"Good, now it's your turn to feel good," I said, carrying onto the bed.

I laid her down in missionary position. I opened her legs and saw her entry. She was still intoxicated by the facefucking, drunk off the rush. So, she needed to wake up a little.

I grabbed my dick and gently tapped on her pussy, softly hitting her clit and realigning her focus.

She was still in a slight daze. "I'm going in," I said as I slid my dick in her.

"Holy shit," she gasped as I began moving, quickly finding my rhythm.

Her pussy was warm and tight. We began to dissolve into pleasure with each stroke. Our tongues rolled over each other like they held the sweet nectar of life.

As my rhythm sped up, so did her aggressiveness. I pulled her hips upwards and rammed my dick inside her with a deep penetrating force. Her breast bounced wildly.

"Fuck me harder!" she screamed.

I'm givin' it all I got captain'! I thought as I began drowning in pleasure.

All sense began to escape me as started fucking her harder, one of my hands chocking her gently as the other was firmly on her hips.

My rhythm picked up faster. And I began to unconsciously ascend us upwards.

Oh, shit! I'm gonna cum, I thought. Gotta pull out, gotta pull out, gotta pull out.

But my hips wouldn't listen. The feeling was just too overwhelming and it felt too damn good.

Suddenly, my rhythm started to slip and I knew where my opportunity was. With the strength of 10,000 child hating fathers, I pulled out of her pussy as I came. Coating my seed on her stomach.

We descended back to the bed, panting breathlessly.

Eve recovered first. "That was amazing," she said, then she breathed into my ear. "You're not done are you?"

"You kidding? I could go another 10 rounds," I said, assuredly.

"Good, because I'm not going to let you sleep," she cooed as she kissed me and grabbed my dick again.

LEWD SCENE END.

Hours later, the room was completely quiet again, save for the rhythmic crashing of the waves against the cliffs outside.

I lay on my back, the heavy duvet tangled around my waist. Eve was fast asleep, her head resting peacefully on my bare chest, her arm draped across my stomach. The steady, calming rhythm of her heartbeat echoed against my own.

Now that was worth the wait, I thought easing into the mattress.

CLAP, CLAP, CLAP. It certainly was, the Libido said, giving me a mental standing ovation.

Tch, you still here? I groaned internally. Man, would you get outta here already? I've accomplished what you wanted.

Aye, aye, no need for hostilities. I'm just here to give you an end of date score, It said.

End of date score? Like a scouting report?

That's right, you should have an idea of where you stand right?

Oh, yeah? Then what is it? I questioned, feeling weirdly defensive.

Well, based on the overall night and how well you performed in the act, I can safely say that you deserve a solid 7/10, It said. Technique needs more work and you need to move your hips more to really get her off quicker, but other than that, it was a pretty solid first night.

7/10?! Bitch! You grimey little—

Welp, see ya next time. Gotta go!It said, cutting me off as its presence vanished from my mind completely.

Gah, what an annoying dickhead, I thought, rubbing my temple.

I turned my head to look at the sleeping, nude form of Eve next to me. The moonlight was catching the faint dusting of freckles on her shoulders. I let out a slow exhale, the frustration melting away.

Well, at least something good came from his pestering, I thought, wrapping an arm around her and pulling her slightly closer. Hopefully, I don't have to deal with him next time. Because there is definitely going to be a next time. I need to bring that score up somehow, right?

.

.

.

Welp, there it is. My first Lewd Scene Ever. Giggity-Giggity.

Tell me what ya'll think.

No lie, that shit was harder than expected (No pun intended). Visualizing and drawing is way easier than writing it down. I researched some passages from erotica (adult lewd novels) to try and get everything right and I was still getting second hand embarrassment. Idk how those authors write without getting embarrassed or stressed, lol.

As Always, thanks for reading. Bye.
