My Girlfriend Is Stronger Than the Demon Lord – Volume 18 (Chapter 18)

The morning after the Shadow Clan assassination attempt, Aria was determined to reclaim our "date day."

"Eren," she said, tying her hair back, "today we're going to have breakfast, a walk, and maybe… just maybe… a quiet moment without interruptions."

I raised an eyebrow. "A quiet moment in the demon realm? Bold move."

Before we could leave, Gorvath stomped in, holding a scroll that practically radiated panic.

"My Lady! The western tribes are demanding a ceremony… and the Shadow Clan is coordinating distractions!"

Aria groaned. "Eren… see? Chaos doesn't take a day off."

I muttered under my breath, "Nor does anything remotely related to the Shadow Clan."

She smirked faintly. "Exactly why I need to control it… elegantly."

We stepped outside into the lava gardens. The western tribes had arrived—dozens of demons in ceremonial armor, looking both tense and eager.

Their leader, a tall demon with glowing emerald eyes, stepped forward. "Battle Goddess Aria! We demand proof of your authority!"

Aria yawned, casually lifting her staff. "Authority… hmm. I suppose a demonstration is in order."

Before anyone could react, she snapped her fingers. Weapons froze midair. Shields hovered. Even the lava fountains seemed to pause in anticipation.

I whispered, "She… she didn't even move. She just snapped her fingers."

Aria turned to me, smiling faintly. "Sometimes, Eren… it's not about fighting. It's about showing who controls the chaos."

With another subtle gesture, the weapons and shields formed an intricate, floating display around the western tribes. Then, gently, they settled to the ground, leaving the demons unharmed but thoroughly impressed.

The leader bowed deeply. "My Lady… we yield. Your power is… absolute."

Aria exhaled, relaxing. "Good. Now… breakfast?"

I laughed, squeezing her hand. "Finally, some normalcy."

She leaned close, cheeks pink. "Eren… it's rare in my world… but with you, I want to try."

Even in the demon realm, surrounded by politics, danger, and overpowered foes, we carved out our own little moments of peace—one "date" at a time.
