Chapter 2 - The first task

Leo: "What is this? Does the Wallet System have levels and stages?"

System: "Yes, there are levels. At each level, you gain knowledge and skill for trading.

The skill you obtained to guide you: Level 1, The Beginning, and Level 2 has begun: Commercial Path.

Refined Persuasion Skill: When you negotiate with a seller or buyer over the price of a commodity, it activates automatically to grant you absolute authority over negotiation, and it will assist you on your commercial path.

There is a mission: Complete your first trade, and there are conditions:

1️⃣ Do not trade with someone you know

2️⃣ Do not let the other party win in any trade negotiation

Punishment: 30% of GX points will be deducted, and if you have no points, you will be transferred to the Debtor World Prison…"

Suddenly, distortion appeared in the system's words, and incomprehensible sentences emerged.

Page 2

Leo did not utter a single word from the intensity of the shock.

Leo (to himself): "So this is my first mission from the system… and my first skill… but the punishment… I only understood the name 'Debtor World Prison'… and what comes after… it sounds bad."

System (with a mocking laugh): "Is there really such a thing as a good punishment? It is called a punishment because it is a punishment!"

Leo sat confused, realizing that the game was no longer simple.

Leo fell silent for a moment, then Mrs. Hana, the café owner, came and asked him:

Hana: "How was it?"

Leo: "Huh?"

Hana: "I mean Mr. James… His offer surprised you, didn't it? I knew you liked trading from the way you look at the debt traders who come to the café… so I asked James to check on you so you could become his apprentice in trade."

Leo looked at Hana and said: "Thank you, but what about the café? Can I work with you alone?"

Hana: "No problem, I'll look for workers… but you, Leo, you've suffered in your life, so I want you, at least a little, to pursue your goal."

Leo's eyes filled with tears, and he asked: "Why are you doing all this?"

Hana: "On the day I saw you, I was returning from the funeral of my only son, whom I lost to cancer… I saw you on the ground, small and cold, and you reminded me of my son…"

The next morning, James came:

James: "Leo, did you accept my offer earlier?"

Leo: "Thank you very much, but I have someone I want to take care of."

He gestured with his eyes toward Hana. James understood and smiled: "It's good to have something you care about."

System: "You have unlocked a hidden mission: Searching for a Family Goal.

Page 4

The system did not understand family as humans do.

It did not see love, tenderness, or sacrifice; rather, it saw a value that could not be directly priced… and this confused it.

[Target Classification]: Non-directly convertible asset

[Description]: A human bond that generates stable value, which cannot be converted into GX without unpredictable loss

System Analysis of Hana:

Name: Hana

Classification: Emotional Stability Anchor

Market Value: Cannot be evaluated

Level of influence on the user: Very high

Warning: Loss of this asset may lead to moral collapse, rapid exploitation, or rebellion against the system

The system imposed automatic restrictions:

1️⃣ The existence of family members cannot be directly converted

2️⃣ Any indirect attempt leads to distortion or calculation error

3️⃣ Using family as leverage increases risk and alters punishment

Thus, the family goal became a new test for Leo, not for balance, but for awareness and the ability to protect something that cannot be priced.

Page 5

Leo sat near the table, the wallet in front of him, his hands trembling.

An elegant customer entered carrying a leather bag, and Leo remembered the system's instructions:

Do not trade with someone you know

Do not allow the other party to win

The negotiation began, and he used the Refined Persuasion skill.

But the system warned:

Using force in the presence of a family goal may affect asset stability

With every word and every movement, the wallet felt a new weight… material balance was not what mattered, but protecting the family goal.

The deal ended without a major increase in balance, but Leo gained something deeper: resistance, awareness, and a new weight in his heart.

Page 6

Leo sat in a corner of the café, his heart pounding, and the system watching him.

A rapid notification appeared:

Detection of imbalance in emotional equilibrium: Family goal stability threatened by 12%

Leo felt a chill, realizing that any mistake could cost him more than just GX points…

The wallet was testing his ability to protect something precious, something that could not be priced.

Leo: "I won't lose this… no matter what it costs me."

Page 7

After a long day, Leo sat in the café, looking at the system files.

The ground shook beneath his feet, and outside the café he saw a flying ship roaming between planets and galaxies.

A person descended from it wearing luxurious noble attire: a young lady from the Goldness family, a family that trades between planets, from the golden class.

Leo's expression changed from shock to a sly look, and he smiled, saying:

Leo: "You've arrived… my ship of escape from poverty."
