On Felix's side, however, after his attack failed, he immediately performed a series of maneuvers. Under his command, the Genesis Gundam fired a single shot, destroying one of the Providence Dragoon Wireless Guided Weapons.
An explosion erupted in this sector of space. Felix paid it no mind and stomped both feet hard on the forward pedals.
The Genesis Gundam charged toward the Providence Gundam at high speed.
He raised the Beam Rifle in its hand, its muzzle unleashing a scorching beam.
Under Creuset's control, the Providence Gundam dodged the incoming attack. Creuset's fingers pressed the command keys, and the remaining Providence Dragoon Wireless Guided Weapons moved once more.
They opened fire from the left and from behind!
Inside the cockpit.
Felix perceived everything around him with his ability.
He moved the control sticks to the right with both hands and stomped hard on the forward pedal.
The Genesis Gundam moved toward the front right.
The two beams coming from the left and the rear were easily dodged.
His footwork changed; one foot pressed the forward pedal while the other pressed the reverse pedal.
As the mobile suit's body turned, Felix pulled the trigger.
The Beam Rifle fired two consecutive shots, one to the left and one to the rear!
The beams traversed the cosmos. One of the Providence Dragoon Wireless Guided Weapons, controlled by Creuset, was instantly pierced, while the other, under Creuset's control, evaded the attack.
"Creuset, do you have any new tricks?"
After destroying the Providence Dragoon Wireless Guided Weapon, Felix looked relaxed, his voice laced with a hint of provocation.
Hearing this, Creuset's expression turned ugly. He gripped the control sticks tightly and pulled the trigger.
The beam gun on its Composite Weaponry Defense Shield System fired.
The beam shot toward the Genesis Gundam.
The Genesis Gundam dodged to the left, evading the beam with extreme ease.
It raised the Beam Rifle in its hand!
It fired a shot to the right!
A Providence Dragoon Wireless Guided Weapon that had just moved into position was destroyed by the shot before it could even fire.
"Have you run out of tricks?"
After firing the shot, Felix taunted with a smile.
With that said, Felix changed the subject and spoke again.
"Creuset, do I look like a Defective Product to you?"
The calm question reached Creuset's ears.
Creuset gave no answer, but in his heart, he was already doubting the information he had investigated.
Amid his doubt, a part of Creuset's mind was screaming, Impossible!
He simply couldn't believe it. If Felix wasn't a Defective Product, why would Ulen Hibiki have abandoned him? Why would he have gone on to create Kira Yamato?
While he was lost in doubt, the Genesis Gundam once again closed in on the Providence Gundam.
A glowing Beam Saber was slashing down at him.
With no time to ponder his inner doubts, Creuset hastily maneuvered.
The Providence Gundam dodged!
Seeing the Providence Gundam's movement, Felix's fingers rapidly tapped the command keys.
The Beam Saber's slashing motion changed!
A flash of light cut through the space between them, and an arm went flying off into the distant cosmos.
"It's a little asymmetrical now, isn't it?"
Looking at the Providence Gundam, which now had only one arm left, Felix said with his smile still in place.
Hearing the voice from the public channel, Creuset's eyes turned bloodshot, and he let out a low growl.
"Damn you!"
After uttering those two words, Creuset took control of the Providence Dragoon Wireless Guided Weapons.
The remaining Providence Dragoon Wireless Guided Weapons moved once more.
The Genesis Gundam quickly switched weapons.
The Beam Rifle was retrieved from the rear skirt armor again.
The shield defended against the left, while its right hand gripped the Beam Rifle and fired to the right.
A moderately sized explosion occurred in the distance to the right!
The beam coming from the left was blocked by the shield.
The mobile suit's body spun, revealing one of the Whale Plasma Cluster Beam Cannons, which fired a beam from its muzzle.
A Providence Dragoon Wireless Guided Weapon that was trying to escape was destroyed.
After that shot, Felix activated Full Firepower Mode.
The Beam Rifle, the Whale Plasma Cluster Beam Cannon, and the Sailfish Railgun all opened fire on the Providence Gundam simultaneously.
A fierce barrage struck the Providence Gundam from multiple directions.
Even with Creuset's vast battlefield experience, he couldn't cover all his bases at this moment.
While he avoided the fatal attacks to the torso, one of the Providence Gundam's legs was pierced by a solid projectile from the Sailfish Railgun.
After the firepower attack ended, Felix piloted the Genesis Gundam to charge again.
While moving at high speed, the Genesis Gundam fired its Beam Rifle to the left rear.
A small explosion occurred.
"Damn it, how the hell is this guy doing this?"
Watching the Genesis Gundam attack with such ease, Creuset roared with a mix of confusion and impatience.
His voice reached Felix's ears, and Felix replied calmly.
"Because I am a being who is more perfect, even beyond perfection!"
As he spoke, Felix dealt another verbal blow to Creuset.
"This is a realm that a short-lived ghost like you could never experience."
The words "short-lived ghost" once again reached his ears.
Creuset's heart remained undisturbed. At this moment, it was as if he had become immune to those words, or perhaps it was because his mind was preoccupied with other things.
Hearing no response from Creuset, Felix stopped wasting his breath.
The Genesis Gundam switched its weapon to the Beam Saber.
Seeing the flash of light appear on his screen again and sensing his current state, an extremely insane idea rose in Creuset's mind.
A crazed smile spread across Creuset's mind.
His eyes fixed on the Genesis Gundam before him, Creuset activated the Providence Gundam's Self-Destruct Program.
'More perfect?'
He sneered inwardly, then his emotions shifted, the sneer turning into a maniacal grin.
'Humanity does not deserve such a possibility! All humans are damned creatures who deserve to be exterminated. You can just accompany me into oblivion!'
As he thought this, Creuset let out a wild laugh in his mind.
'Hahahahaha!!!!!!'
Inside the Genesis Gundam's cockpit.
Intuition kicked in at this moment. An extremely intense sense of crisis and danger constantly warned Felix in his mind.
Under this warning, Felix quickly broke off his attack and manipulated the controls.
The Genesis Gundam brought its shield up to protect its torso.
Felix also stomped on the reverse pedals.
Creuset watched the Genesis Gundam's actions, his expression resolute as he piloted the Providence Gundam to close in on it.
"Trying to take me with you?"
Felix said with a cold smile.
But his footwork didn't stop; the Genesis Gundam was still rapidly retreating.
Just as the Beam Rifle was about to aim and fire at the Providence Gundam, the pursuing mobile suit erupted in a massive explosion.
The energy from the Nuclear Reactor's explosion propelled the wreckage of the Providence Gundam toward the Genesis Gundam at extremely high speed.
Under these circumstances, Felix maneuvered the Genesis Gundam to evade.
A moment later, the Genesis Gundam's external armor and shield were pockmarked by the energy-laden debris. One of its legs was even blown off as it couldn't dodge in time.
"I respect you for being a man of courage!"
No longer seeing the Providence Gundam, a trace of respect rose in Felix's eyes as he praised him in a steady voice.
