Chapter 216 - Chapter 216: Eliminating the Commander Unit, Annihilating the Special Forces

An explosion erupted at that moment.

However, the resulting blast had no impact on the battle. The diving Destiny Support Fighter continued to be attacked by another 105 Slaughter Dagger. If Felix hadn't issued commands promptly, the Destiny Support Fighter would have become the next source of an explosive flash.

The diving Destiny Support Fighter rolled to evade the attack, then adjusted its wings to quickly pull out of the dive.

Two Fortissimo Beam Cannons opened fire.

The 105 Slaughter Dagger pilot maneuvered the MS to dodge.

After evading, the pilot pulled the trigger and fired again.

Beams shot toward the Destiny Support Fighter, which performed evasive rolls.

After dodging the attack, the Fortissimo Beam Cannons fired once more.

Meanwhile,

the Genesis Gundam, under Felix's control, raised its shield to block.

Blocking the incoming beams, the Genesis Gundam moved backward, aiming its Beam Rifle to fire toward the right front.

The MS pilot, seeing this, quickly maneuvered to evade.

While the pilot was dodging, the Genesis Gundam also executed evasive maneuvers.

After avoiding the attacks, the Genesis Gundam, wielding its Beam Saber, deflected all incoming fire and charged toward a 105 Sword Dagger.

The 105 Sword Dagger pilot, seeing this, controlled the MS to retreat and create distance while throwing a Beam Boomerang.

Felix, observing this, manipulated the Genesis Gundam's actions.

With an upward diagonal slash, the Beam Boomerang was cleanly severed.

Then Felix saw the 105 Sword Dagger launch a Rocket Anchor at him. His fingers pressed the command buttons.

The Genesis Gundam directly reached out and grabbed the Rocket Anchor.

Holding onto the anchor, it used the retraction force and its own thrust to propel itself forward again.

While charging, trajectories of movement flashed through Felix's mind.

Guided by these trajectories, Felix executed another maneuver.

The Genesis Gundam released its grip and, with the aid of its wings, performed a high-difficulty roll.

Dodging the attack, it switched its Beam Saber for the Beam Rifle, aiming directly at a 105 Wired Guided Dagger.

"Damn it!"

The pilot, seeing the dark muzzle, tensed up and cursed, maneuvering the 105 Wired Guided Dagger to evade.

As it dodged, Felix's mind calculated its movement trajectory based on gravitational changes.

Just as he was about to fire, another movement trajectory appeared in his mind.

With two trajectories now clear, Felix instantly understood the situation. He made slight adjustments with his hands and pulled the trigger.

A beam shot from the rifle, piercing through the MS.

Gusta, witnessing this, roared in fury.

"Bastard! Bastard!!!"

While growling, he controlled the Wired Guided Gun-barrel to fire at the Genesis Gundam.

Under Felix's control, the Genesis Gundam effortlessly evaded the gun-barrel's attacks.

While dodging, a Whale Plasma Cluster Beam Cannon deployed, firing a beam from its barrel. The traveling beam pierced through one of the Wired Guided Gun-barrels.

After destroying this Wired Guided Gun-barrel, multiple movement trajectories formed by gravitational changes once again surfaced in Felix's mind.

Analyzing these trajectories rapidly, Felix manipulated the Genesis Gundam to evade all incoming attacks before deploying the two Sailfish Railguns mounted on its waist.

Solid rounds were fired, speeding directly toward a 105 Sword Dagger.

Spotting this, the MS pilot pressed command buttons, and the 105 Sword Dagger hurled its Beam Boomerang.

The airborne Beam Boomerang collided with the projectile mid-flight.

Watching the enemy dodge the attack, Felix did not aim his next strike at him.

Instead, he focused his gaze on the 105 Wired Guided Dagger piloted by Gusta. Keeping his eyes locked on this MS, Felix maneuvered the Genesis Gundam to evade.

"Judging by the trajectories and other factors, this MS must be the commander unit," he murmured under his breath.

Felix pressed the accelerator pedal firmly.

The Genesis Gundam's backpack thrusters erupted with immense force, propelling it toward the MS piloted by Gusta.

Inside the cockpit, Gusta watched the approaching Genesis Gundam with a grim expression, firing the Wired Guided Gun-barrel while simultaneously retreating with his MS.

As he withdrew, he issued orders over the comms.

"I'll engage him shortly—open fire on him when I do!"

"Commander, that's too dangerous! Let me handle it!" one of his squad members protested.

Gusta shook his head and replied over the comms, "He's already coming for me."

After his response, Gusta continued maneuvering his MS backward, dodging attacks as he retreated.

Inside the Genesis Gundam's cockpit, Felix evaded each assault by following the movement trajectories generated in his mind. While avoiding the attacks, he kept his eyes fixed on the enemy MS displayed on the screen.

By observing its movements, Felix identified its specific trajectory among the shifting paths in his mind.

"Let's see how you dodge this!" he said calmly, pulling the trigger.

A beam shot forth from the muzzle of the Beam Rifle.

Seeing the beam's trajectory, Gusta's expression shifted to alarm as he urgently commanded his MS into an emergency evasion.

The abrupt change in movement caused the MS to respond a half-beat too slowly.

Although it avoided a fatal hit, one of its arms was severed.

"Damn it!" Gusta growled in frustration, glancing at the dashboard display. His fingers tightened on the trigger, firing the Wired Guided Gun-barrel at the Genesis Gundam.

Under Felix's control, the Genesis Gundam dodged with precision and returned fire with its Beam Rifle.

The moving Wired Guided Gun-barrel was instantly destroyed.

Holstering the rifle, the Genesis Gundam evaded all remaining attacks.

Once its posture was stabilized, the Genesis Gundam charged once more toward the MS piloted by Gusta.

With their thrust capabilities vastly mismatched, Gusta's MS was quickly overtaken by the Genesis Gundam.

Left with no alternative, Gusta drew his MS's Beam Saber to engage.

The Genesis Gundam raised its shield, blocking the Beam Saber strike, while swiftly thrusting its own Beam Saber forward.

"Open fire!"

Seeing the beam saber thrusting straight toward him, Gusta realized it was too late to evade. He abandoned the idea of dodging and issued orders to his subordinates.

Upon hearing the command, everyone opened fire on the Genesis Gundam.

Inside the Genesis Gundam cockpit

Trajectories of movement flashed through Felix's mind, and among them, he found a path to evade.

Drawing the beam saber, the Genesis Gundam executed evasive maneuvers.

The shield blocked several attacks while the rest were deftly avoided by the Genesis Gundam.

"How is this possible?!"

Everyone wore expressions of shock and disbelief as they stared at the unscathed Genesis Gundam, their voices filled with incredulity.

While they were stunned, the Genesis Gundam charged toward another MS.

......

Over ten minutes later

With the destruction of the final 105 Launcher Dagger

The special forces unit built around Daggers that had surrounded Felix was completely annihilated by him.

Felix let out a long exhale as the heightened activity of his Seed Factor subsided. With the state fading, a wave of exhaustion washed over him.

"So tired!"

His words carried a tone of weariness.

Felix then piloted the Genesis Gundam to evade while deploying the two Sailfish Railguns mounted at its waist.

The projectiles were fired.

Instantly destroying two Strike Daggers.

After eliminating these two Strike Daggers, Felix activated the Multiple Lock-on System.

Targets on the observation scope were systematically selected one by one.

Felix pulled the trigger at that moment.

The Whale Plasma Cluster Beam Cannon, Sailfish Railguns, Sirius Beam Rifle, Fortissimo Beam Cannon, and Siren Beast Cannon fired simultaneously.

The barrage of attacks instantly obliterated the Strike Daggers and Mobius units in the forward area.

After the volley, Felix piloted the Genesis Gundam to advance forward.

The Beam Rifle fired.

A single shot eliminated a Strike Dagger attempting a sneak attack.

"Thank you, Captain Griffith!"

"No need for thanks. Focus on the battle and retreat to the rear as ordered!"

Felix responded through the comms.

His fingers pressed buttons on the control stick, deploying the Sailfish Railguns at the waist.

With a pull of the trigger, projectiles were launched.

The high-speed rounds pierced through two Strike Daggers in an instant.

"How is everyone's energy situation?"

After firing this shot, Felix inquired over the comms.

As soon as he spoke, Heine's voice came through the comms.

"Captain, after prolonged combat, our MS energy reserves are running low."

After Heine's report, a chorus of agreeing voices echoed through the comms.

"Same here!"

......

"Same here!"

Listening to these responses, Felix assessed the battlefield situation and contacted Rogers in the rear.

Once the comms connected, Felix issued a direct order.

"Deploy the reserve team to replace the currently engaged units!"

"Understood!"

Rogers replied through the comms.

After receiving the response, Felix ended the communication with Rogers. He pulled the trigger, destroying another Strike Dagger, then contacted the Athena via comms.

"Captain!"

The comms connected, and Aric's voice came through.

Hearing Aric's voice, Felix began issuing orders.

"After the reserve force enters the battlefield, cover the currently engaged Mobile Suit Force to return to the mothership for energy replenishment. Simultaneously, launch the spare Destiny Support Fighter for me."

Hearing Felix's command, Aric asked with concern in his voice.

"Captain, won't you withdraw from the battlefield to rest as well?"

Responding to the concerned inquiry, Felix replied calmly.

"The Genesis Gundam is a nuclear-powered machine. It can hold out a while longer under the current circumstances."

Upon hearing this, Aric continued with persistent worry.

"Captain, I know your MS can endure, but you've been fighting for quite some time now, so..."

Cutting off Aric's words, Felix stated over the comms.

"Don't worry about me."

Having said this, Felix continued in a tone that brooked no argument.

"Execute the order!"

"Yes, sir!"
