As kurenai was inching closer to haku Haven picking him as her first target a gentle yet fast gust of wind hit her face blowing also her hair,not thinking much of it she continued to advance until she heard a loud thud along with a familiar voice.
Turning back they could all now see huji on top of one of the snakes head with both head cleared off the body and on his free hand he was holding the masked guy by the scruff of his collar the fellow probably dead
"What how the hell could he move so damn fast and he also killed that beast with so much ease in that little amount of tim...wait, didn't him and that other one struggle to beat the beat the beast moment ago"jakumono thought while staring at huji and back at were he was just minutes ago and then staring at haku who was just standing up
"Ahhhhhh, this doesn't make any sense"jaku shouted while holding and shaking his head
"It actually made sense actually,well, you were thinking how he was able to defeat that beast just now,huh"
"Well you guys must be pretty dense to think fighting a beast of higher level would be harder for us,huh,after you made us go through that hell of dealing with several beast at a time"
"What you..you knew all along"kurenai stammered while pointing at haku
"You idiot!! what do you think we are morons,"
"We made you think your plan was going well, actually we we're just taking you so you could bring out your other teammates, since we thought you had some,and so you did"
"He figured that would be a easier way to getting all his required scroll points rather than Wondering in this forest aimlessly"
"You can't be serious,you decided to follow through into all my plans just to get some wimpy scroll when you could have just gotten rid of me from the beginning"kurenai said while falling on her butt still pointing at haku having realised she had been played right from the start
"We knew right from the beginning you were up to no good because, actually the student accepted into the academy are not that strong except for some genius they were still capable of defeating a some of the beasts here and that included and that included the beast you pretended to get attacked by in the beginning"
"You knew that also"kurenai asked with a shaking voice
"You idiot!! You overunder estimated us and that will cause you the exam and probably ur life"haku said picking up his spear and taking a stance with the spear just above his shoulder
"This guys are bad news" jakumono thought while staring at haku
Thud
Turning back the other female in the group saw huji walking calmly towards them
She drew an arrow from her quiver but she was too frightened to even shoot it now that she knew just how strong the person in front of her is
"Shoot him already you fool, do you want to get us killed with your cowardise,you fool"jaku shouted at the female member bringing her out of her fidgeting condition
"Okay"she shouted back
Drawing the arrow she pulled on the string and fired at huji but jumping away from the direction of the arrow he was able to dodge it completely and running so quick the female Archer couldn't keep up he seemed to darted forward towards her and swinging his sword he sliced the bow in two along with the girl giving her quite a deep cut making her pass out instantly more of fear than the the attack
"You talk too much for a muscle brain, don't you"haku shouted
Haku sliding his leg backwards making him rigid on them he suddenly strarted bending backwards at an unimaginable angle
"Take this hit and go to rest you muclse head"
Blasting spear
Suddenly pulling himself back up and throwing the spear with all his might,the spear launched forward with a force jakumono's eyes couldn't keep up with but he however raised his sword and with all his might he received the full brunt of the attack and was carried a lot of meters back before being able to deflect it
"This guys none of them is weak in any way,was it a bad idea to attack them actually"jakumono wondered while staring at his slightly cracked sword
Running forward haku grabbed his other spear and now taking the same stance and beginning to bend backwards in the same dangerous angle but this time he was aiming for kurenai and he was moving his handing with an insane speed to and fro making it look as if the spear was vibrating and then with a sharp return he launched his spear forward
Kurenai was however too frightened also to retaliate the incoming attack,when the spear was close to hitting her though a huge musular figure appeared before her and blocked the spear though he didn't really block it because he got stabbed by the spear due to the unimaginable force the spear carried and with his sword formally broken,it shattered on impact with the spear and stabbed him in his stomach making him fall to his knee while coughing out a mouthful of blood
"Miss kurenai please get yourself together,we obviously can't defeat them now so your only option is to run,"jakumono said along side coughing out more blood
"Run,run and pass this test and take your revenge in the academy,I will hold them off for you,run!"jakumono shouted while standing up and taking out his spear attempting to use it as a weapon
Kurenai got out of her frightened state and got up while getting holding of her sword she stood up and darted away with tears in her eyes while looking at jakumono dragging his injured body up ready to clash with haku again
Wham
She suddenly got kicked back down by Huji
"You were really stupid for a noble weren't you,"huji said
"It was suspicious seeing a weak person in the exam and also seeing sneaking away while we were fighting the snake beast,I actually told him to act weak and avoid defeating the beast in a go so as to draw your true colors out, since I figured letting us get weak and then finishing us off instead of letting the beast do all the work was what sly people like you would think of"huji explained
"So you planned everything afterall that is unreasonable,how can you think that far"kurenai asked while trying to get off the floor
"That doesn't matter anymore,but was all that really worth it"huji asked raising up his sword ready to slash at her
Suddenly jakumono appeared under the blade holding it with his palm now bleeding out
"You are the hope of the next generation of the winterlotus,please go ,miss kurenai!" jakumono shouted before falling unconscious even while still holding the blade.
"He sure is a strong one,now to pass this exam"huji said while looking at the unconscious bodies before him
