Chapter 19
- Rhea's POV –
Boss Ganda took the empty beer bottle again and gave it another spin.
The women with me on the balcony shook their heads when the bottle stopped with its mouth pointed at Almira. They mocked my grinning friend at the same time as they pointed at her. While I was smiling looking at her.
"You give dare, Sais." Otso said because the butt of the bottle was pointing at Sais.
"All right." Sais stared at the bottle while thinking.
Everyone was quiet for a moment while Sais thought of a dare for Almira but everyone was still smiling, obviously very excited.
I, on the other hand, got a little lucky with each round of the bottle. Because the shots have run out, I haven't been pointed by the bottle yet. But I'm still nervous that my luck might run out before the end of the night.
Sais suddenly smiled as it was obvious that something had entered his mind, "Shout outside, 'Come back to me, Lorenz'."
When Sais gave her dare, it was obvious that she and Almira were playing a game.
But except for Almira, even though her eyebrows meet, she's still smiling, as if she's holding back her excitement.
Just don't let Uno hear it. He will really go up here.
"I do not want!!" Almira shouted.
"Maybe Uno won't hear it, crushmate." I reassured her with a smile as I pushed her to stand up.
Everyone cheered for her to do the dare. The others are very excited, as if they really want Uno and Almira to have a fling. It seems they really forgot that this is Otso's house and she is here in front of us now.
"Alright!" She really gave in to everyone's nagging.
"Whoah!! Bi-bi-gurl! Bi-bi-gurl! Bi-bi-gurl!" Everyone shouted loudly and encouragingly as Almira stood up and walked towards the railings with a smile.
She seems to want it too. It's obvious from her face.
Suddenly there was silence when she was at the railings everyone was really attentive waiting for what would come out of her mouth.
She closed her eyes and took a deep breath then stood on her tip toes.
"Come back to me, Lorenz!" Almira shouted.
Everyone was smiling as Almira finally made the dare. They were all very happy except Otso.
I glanced at her and saw a small smile on her face as if she was forced to smile. So that it would not be obvious that she was affected. Some members who know about the past of Uno, Otso and Almira also looked at her with a small smile.
"I'm fine." Otso said when she noticed me looking at her.
I just nodded and returned my attention to the game.
Otso is my best friend. So I'm worried about how she feels. She is good at hiding her feelings even when she is hurt.
"Hey! Your luck has run out!!" Princess shouted at me while pointing at the bottle.
My eyes almost fell out when I saw the bottle pointed at me.
My happy days are over.
And I followed the butt of the bottle where it was pointing so I could recognize who would give me a dare.
I just hit my forehead when I saw it pointing at Boss Ganda. I can see all her teeth from her huge smile.
"Hmmm. What is a good dare for you?" Boss Ganda was thinking as she stared at the bottle.
Silence prevailed again as everyone waited for Boss Ganda to release a dare. Everyone was staring at her who was obviously excited and couldn't wait. She didn't even say anything but they seemed very happy that I was going to do the dare. As for me, there is no place for the nervousness I feel.
I don't really feel good in someone's opinion. I hope she doesn't dare to be hard on me..
"Do you still have shots?"
A voice from behind us all grabbed our attention and turned around.
We all looked at Jc who was weak but walking in a roundabout way towards us. His face was red and his eyes were half open. He drank so much and it seemed like just a few seconds, his body would collapse.
In his condition, is he still looking for shots? It's like he can't take it anymore. I think the boys drunk too much.
Is it Ceejay? Knocked out too? That guy's alcohol tolerance is so low. Even for lady's drink, he will passed out quickly.
While my eyes were focused on Jc's face, someone suddenly pulled my arm somewhere. And before I could turn around, I heard a whisper in my ear.
"Kiss Four on the cheek." I heard Boss Ganda's voice accompanied by a giggle.
I immediately retreated to return to my position with a snort while raising both eyebrows, "I don't want to."
"What a joy killer." Boss Ganda is still banging.
"What nonsense is this again, Otso?" Jc tried to keep the tone of his voice smooth.
"Spin the bottle. Will you join?" Otso said with a smile.
He sat next to Otso without a word. He was sitting in an Indian position with his head bowed and his arms crossed.
I moved my eyes slightly and saw his eyes closed from the corner of my eyes. But he didn't look like he was sleeping.
But on the other hand, I was relieved. I was saved from an embarrassment. I can't do the dare anymore because the bottle will spin again.
Or maybe that was just what I think.
"Ganda, your dare to Primera." Otso reminded with a mischievous smile.
I buried my face in my hands before everyone could stare at me.
"She doesn't seem to want it." Boss Ganda said.
"What is her dare?" Jc asked.
I peeked through the gap between my fingers to see Jc's face. He looked curiously at Boss Ganda even though his eyes were half open. And the girl's face was obviously excited to tell a story.
"She will supposed to kiss you on the cheek." This witch's speech was obviously very happy.
I was deafened again by the loud shouting of my companions while the teasing of others was constant. Even Almira was constantly poking my side with her finger. I'm constantly in pain because it's tickling.
"Ceejay will never know." Almira responded while giggling.
I closed my eyes as I pressed my palm to my face.. I couldn't dare to face them, especially Jc. It's a shame. It's like everyone suddenly forgot about the condition. But maybe there is an exception because it's Otso's birthday.
After a while, a hand carefully held both of my hands. He suddenly removed my hands from my face and my eyes widened in shock.
My eyes almost fell out when Jc's face was so close to mine. There is a little gap between our noses but my chest feels like it's going to explode.
I suddenly turned to stone in my seat and my hand was sweating cold.
His face is already red and I can also see red veins in his eyes. His emotionless face and the way he looked at me was terrifying. As for me, it's like all the blood has gone up to my face. But maybe it's because I've been drinking, maybe it's not obvious.
Why is this man so hard to read???
On the other hand, now that I have observed him closely, Jc is not that white. The color of his complexion is natural, the only thing is that his nose is piercing and his lips are hot pink as if he wore lipstick with matching caramel eyes. But when this man smiles even just a smirk, even Rihanna will surely fell in his smile.
I was even fell in his smile, right?
While I was floating in thought, he suddenly brought his cheek to me which brought me back to my senses.
"Kiss now. From night to morning." He teased mischievously while giggling.
They squinted again as if tickled by the seven demons as they happily looked at us.
I pushed him while frowning and bit my bottom lip to stop myself from smiling. He laughed and backed away.
"Your dare, crushmate!" Almira laughed and shouted.
"I do not want!" I answered annoyed.
"Alright, just on the lips." Boss Ganda is still attached.
I was really frowning at Boss Ganda with a pout. Jc giggled while watching the reaction on my face. I don't like this man's smile. He looks like a pervert.
"Maybe you want to kiss me in the bedroom." The idiot actually answered in the middle of his perverted smile.
Their laughter was so loud that the whole street could hear it. Let's add their taunting that my eardrums are about to be pierced.
Without saying a word I stood up while looking at him very badly. He seemed to have read my mind so he immediately stood up grinning. I was about to scold him when he stepped back and grabbed my hand and forcibly placed it behind my back at the same time he turned me away.
With the speed of his actions, it was too late when I realized that he also took my other hand and placed it on my back. He locked my hands with one of his hands and wrapped his free hand around me. My back was pressed against his chest, I was sure because I could feel his heart beating fast.
I tried to struggle but he still had strength left despite his condition. Or I really don't have the energy anymore because I'm a little dizzy too.
"Kiss me on my cheek or I'll kiss you on the lips." It's a mischievous whisper.
They were all very excited while looking at us. The others seem to need paramedics. It looks crazy while hitting.
And me? The tone of his voice startled me. The hair on my arms stood up and I couldn't calm my panicked self.
I just closed my eyes because I couldn't face my shame anymore. Boss Ganda really initiated this. This drunk even rode.
The hair on my neck stood up slowly when I felt a warm breath. Oh by the way, Jc and I are both 5'6 so I can feel his breath on my neck. Carefully, I moved my head to turn to him and my eyes caught his bowed head.
I carefully moved my hand and it seemed that he had loosened his hand that was behind me. Is he asleep?
"Goddammit! Are you still awake!?"
Half of the members who heard turned to where the complaining voice came from.
I opened my eyes because of curiosity.
My heart beat faster when I saw the image of a man approaching us. My heart feels like it's going to jump out of the rib cage. My hand trembled a little and got cold. I just swallowed to hide my nervousness.
Because my feet were unable to step, Jc let go of my hands and tied them behind my back then pushed me away from him.
I looked at him and his head was still bowed. In my opinion, even if he didn't turn around, he knew who the owner of that voice was.
"Are you still awake, Boss? I thought you were knocked out." Otso said with a smile.
"In this kind of noise." Uno behaved while walking to where we were.
"Who's still awake?" She was still looking at Uno until the young man sat down next to us.
"They're coming up." He gave a short answer and took a sip of his coffee.
"The girls are champions now." Jhunz complimented while walking to where the others were.
"Why only you? You can't be without us." Juviler complained that he was following behind Jhunz.
Akinka, Rhuji, Ceejay, and Nono followed with a smile.
While the young men were busy looking for a place where they can insert in the girls sitting in a circular form, I blinked when I saw Ceejay walking slowly and then my soul returned to my body.
I immediately greeted him and hugged him. He also hugged me while gently patting my back.
"Did you drink too much?" I worried.
He separated from my hug and he looked at my face. And I also checked his eyes to see if he saw Jc hugging me earlier.
"I'm fine." He made sure to come with a charming smile.
I answered with a small smile then took his arm and put it on my shoulder while my other hand was on his waist, to support him to walk.
We both sat next to Almira where I was sitting earlier and Ceejay leaned his head on my shoulder, when we sat down.
"Shh." I heard Jc hissing so I peeked at him out of the corner of my eye and saw him walking towards Boss Ganda, then carefully sat down next to her.
"You need to change your dare." His attention was focused on us, while he was talking to Boss Ganda.
Boss Ganda looked at him with a frown and a raised eyebrow. Indicate that it is not acceptable.
"I will be terminated." He replied seriously to her and turned to meet her disgusted face.
She just rolled her eyes in disagreement.
"You are celebrating too much. Your dare is not yet done, Primera." Otso indicated in a high voice.
It was like a balloon that explode as everyone who had been laughing before was replaced by silence. The tension in the middle of the silence rose as everyone looked at each other. Others were looking at Boss Ganda, others were at Jc and some were at me, especially Almira and Jc. Crushmate looked worried while Jc looked at me with no emotion.
I was just looking at Boss Ganda so we exchanged glances. Jc quickly glared at Boss Ganda. When she felt his gaze, she glanced at him with a spare smile.
"Oh yes. Aren't you going to kiss..." Boss Ganda quickly glanced at Jc who was still looking at her badly, "P-Princebeybe.. Right, Prim?"
After hearing that, I breathed a sigh of relief.
"Yowwn. We are right on time." Juviler sneered even more.
Some giggled but mostly just smiled while looking at Ceejay and me, especially Jc who was looking at us with no emotion in his eyes. Except for Almira and Otso who both half-smile and look disappointed.
Ceejay looked at me grinning with his eyes obviously shining and I bit my lower lip to stop myself from grinning. I half closed my eyes and slowly brought my face closer to him. Ceejay was peeking out of the corner of his eye.
When I was about to kiss his cheek, he unexpectedly turned to me and our lips met without saying anything.
My whole body went cold and quickly pushed Ceejay away from me.
Everyone was very happy and obviously thrilled, but Jc's eyes widened in shock while my breathing quickened and my heart felt like it was going to jump out of my rib cage.
"Their lips met." Jc's behavior is weak and unbelievable.
