Screen 1 — Forced Retreat to Wall Rose
The boats push off from the riverbank as Titans tear deeper into Shiganshina.
Papyrus holds Eren, Mikasa, and Armin close while Sans stands at the stern, tired energy still flickering in his eye.
The survivors watch their homes burn.
Some scream for family left behind.
Some stare in numb silence.
Papyrus looks back, his voice low for once.
"WE COULDN'T SAVE THEM ALL…"
Sans doesn't answer.
He just watches the rising smoke.
He knows the truth hurts more than words.
A soldier orders everyone onward.
"Keep moving! Wall Maria is lost! Wall Rose is our new line!"
Humanity leaves a piece of itself behind that day.
---
Screen 2 — Life as Refugees
The survivors are packed into the interior districts.
Too many mouths. Not enough food.
Tents and broken buildings become homes.
Papyrus tries to stay optimistic, handing out scraps of bread to hungry kids.
"PLEASE TAKE TURNS! THERE IS PLENTY OF… OKAY, THERE IS NOT PLENTY OF FOOD, BUT WE WILL FIGURE THIS OUT!"
Sans sits nearby on a crate, watching soldiers process endless lines of refugees.
He taps his foot, frustrated.
"humans really know how to mess up paradise."
Eren, Mikasa, and Armin stay close to them.
The loss still fresh.
Eren's eyes burn with a new, cold focus.
"I'll join the military," he mutters.
"I'll fight. I'll kill every Titan."
Armin looks uncertain.
Mikasa stays silent, but her grip on Eren's shoulder says everything.
Papyrus kneels beside them.
"YOU HAVE STRONG HEARTS. BUT PROMISE ME YOU WILL NOT LOSE WHO YOU ARE."
Sans watches the three, already seeing where their path leads.
"and promise me you won't become the monsters you wanna destroy."
The bells ring across the district again.
Refugees groan—they already know what it means.
The soldier shouts to the crowd:
"Wall Rose is next. Everyone able to fight will be trained. No exceptions."
Sans glances at Papyrus.
"Well… looks like we're drafted."
Papyrus salutes dramatically.
"THE GREAT PAPYRUS WILL BE THE GREATEST SOLDIER IN HISTORY!"
Sans sighs.
"heh. guess we're doing this the hard way."
Screen 3 — Cadet Corps Begins
Three years pass in the blink of an eye.
Sans and Papyrus stand in formation with the 104th Cadet Corps.
Green fields stretch out around them. The walls loom in the distance.
Recruits line up shoulder to shoulder, most still trying to hide fear behind tough faces.
Keith Shadis marches down the line, barking inspections.
He stops when he reaches Papyrus.
"What kind of soldier paints his bones bright white for battle?"
Papyrus salutes with full theater.
"THIS IS MY NATURAL LUSTER, SIR."
Shadis stares, confused and frustrated.
He moves on quickly.
Then he stops at Sans.
"And you. Why are you smiling? Do you think Titans are funny?"
Sans shrugs.
"nah. just thinking about how angry you look. might crack a wrinkle if you keep yelling."
Shadis explodes.
"Drop and give me a hundred."
Sans lays on the ground like he's about to nap.
"sure thing, boss."
Papyrus dives down beside him and starts doing push-ups like his life depends on it.
Training becomes routine: • 3D Maneuver Gear drills
• Combat classes
• Titan weak point lessons
• Endurance marches
Papyrus puts in maximum effort.
He falls. He gets back up.
Every instructor respects his heart.
Sans barely tries.
He teleports when no one looks.
He saves energy.
But when someone needs help, he's the first one there.
Eren, Mikasa, and Armin train with them every day.
Eren pushes harder than anyone.
His anger is fuel.
Sometimes Sans just watches him, concerned.
One night, Papyrus stares up at the stars from the training bunk.
"BROTHER… DO YOU THINK WE CAN REALLY FIGHT TITANS LIKE THIS?"
Sans leans against the wall, hoodie up.
"we're learning their rules. once we know the game, we start winning."
He looks at his hand, remembering the souls trapped inside those monsters.
"and i wanna end this the right way."
A bell rings across camp.
Another day of training waits.
This is how legends start:
Not with power, but with work.
Screen 4 — Graduation Day
The year 853.
Three long years of fear, sweat, and bruises come to an end.
Recruits stand gathered on the training grounds.
Keith Shadis announces the official graduation of the 104th Cadet Corps.
Papyrus grips his certificate with pride.
"YES. THE GREAT PAPYRUS HAS BECOME THE GREAT SOLDIER."
Sans leans back, hands in his pockets.
"heh. took long enough."
Recruits now face the most important choice of their lives: • Military Police for the top ranks
• Garrison for wall defense
• Survey Corps for fighting outside
Eren makes his choice without hesitation.
"Survey Corps. If I'm going to kill Titans, I won't do it sitting behind walls."
Mikasa chooses the same.
Armin too, even though he looks terrified.
Papyrus stands tall.
"WE WILL JOIN THE SURVEY CORPS AS WELL. WE CANNOT LET TITANS HURT ANY MORE CHILDREN."
Everyone turns to Sans.
He looks at the walls… then the sky… then the people he's spent three years protecting.
"…yeah. wings of freedom sound nice."
At that moment, their path becomes the most dangerous one.
The green cloaks are handed out.
The emblem of twin wings stitched on their backs.
The symbol of those willing to die beyond the walls.
Eren nods at Sans.
"Together… we'll win."
Sans only gives a small grin.
But for once, the smile is serious.
Papyrus raises his fist high.
"TO FREEDOM!"
The next war is waiting.
Screen 5 — Return of the Colossal
Trost District. Peaceful for a moment.
Recruits stand on the wall, assigned to lookout duty.
Papyrus scans the horizon with excitement.
"ANOTHER DAY OF HEROISM. MAYBE EVEN A SMALL TITAN TO PUNCH."
Sans yawns.
"don't jinx it, bro."
A sudden burst of steam explodes behind them.
The air shakes.
The world turns red.
The Colossal Titan rises, towering over the wall like a nightmare reborn.
Recruits freeze.
Some scream.
Eren's eyes widen with recognition and rage.
Papyrus: "THAT… IS A REALLY BIG TITAN."
Sans: "…i hate big surprises."
The Colossal Titan kicks the gate.
A thunderous blast tears open Wall Rose.
A shockwave knocks soldiers off their feet.
Titans flood toward the breach below.
Eren rallies the terrified recruits: "If we lose Trost… we lose humanity. Fight!"
Papyrus jumps into motion, grabbing soldiers before they fall to their deaths.
Sans summons a blue glow into his hand.
He never wanted to use his power this early.
But time's up.
"okay. round two."
Sans launches into the air using 3DMG gear, bones materializing and spearing the first Titans that cross the gate.
Papyrus grabs a Titan by the head and slams it into another.
"NO EATING HUMANS ON OUR WATCH."
Eren charges forward, pure determination burning.
The Scouts have their first real test.
And Sans knows something worse is coming…
Screen 6
The new cadets are pushed straight into a real battle with almost no preparation. Most of them freeze up. Some panic. Too many die in seconds.
Eren tries to take charge and help Armin escape a swarm of Titans. The rescue goes bad fast. Eren shoves Armin out of the Titan's mouth and takes his place. He gets eaten.
Everyone watching is stunned. Armin collapses. Mikasa snaps.
Sans whispers one word.
"Enough."
Blue energy flickers around him. His left eye lights up. The ground vibrates. A giant skeletal hand begins to form behind him, fingers curling like it's waking up after a long sleep.
The air pressure shifts. That lazy skeleton is gone.
Something terrifying is taking his place.
Screen 7
Sans' giant skeletal hand reaches about 20 feet tall now. He swings it down like a wrecking ball and crushes the Titan that was about to finish Armin. The ground shakes. Cadets stare at him like they've never seen a monster until now.
Armin is gasping. "Sans… what are you…?"
Papyrus is freaking out but trying to look brave. "WOWIE. BROTHER HAS BEEN HOLDING OUT ON ME."
But even with Sans turning the battlefield upside down, Eren is gone. Swallowed. Dead.
Or so everyone thinks.
A Titan they've never seen before bursts from the crowd. It isn't eating humans. It's ripping apart other Titans. Brutal. Focused. Like it hates them.
Hope and confusion hit at the same time.
Then the reveal drops:
That Titan
is Eren.
He's alive inside a Titan body. He can transform. And suddenly humanity has something they've never had before.
A chance.
---
Eren's Power Shakes Everything
The military panics.
Is Eren:
A weapon they can finally fight back with
or
A threat that could wipe them out from inside?
Mikasa is ready to fight the entire world for him. Armin tries to explain the logic. Sans just squints like he's seeing too many timelines at once. Papyrus loudly insists Eren MUST be a good guy if they are friends now.
Commander Pixis decides to gamble on hope for once.
The plan:
Eren transforms again. He lifts a huge boulder. He seals the gate.
If he fails, everyone dies.
He loses control at first, lashes out. The nightmare seems to come right back. But Armin climbs up and begs him to remember who he is.
Eren pushes through the chaos, lifts the boulder, and slams it into place.
Wall Rose is sealed.
Humanity finally, finally gets a win.
---
The Spark of Hope
People cheer. People pray. People cry.
Some stare at Eren like he's salvation.
Others stare like he's the next Titan to fear.
The Scouts take custody of him. Levi steps in. The choice is made:
They're going outside the walls again.
The real fight is just starting.
Sans and Papyrus?
They're sticking with Eren.
Whatever comes next, they're in it.
Be continued
