The universe was silent. The sun was gone. The moon was gone. There was only the Grey Fog and a mountain of ash.
Buried deep in the ash was the Ember of Hope. It was a tiny spark of consciousness. It remembered everything. It remembered Noax's loneliness. It remembered Ren's fear. It remembered the Sun's arrogance and the Moon's deceit.
"I cannot make the same mistakes," the Ember thought.
It began to eat the ash. Ash is the corpse of the past. By eating it, the Ember gained substance. It grew into a Tree. Its roots dug into the void. Its branches reached for a sky that didn't exist yet.
The Ember whispered: "I will not create gods. Gods are flawed. I will create Laws."
