World Background (Multiverse Overview)

The Multiverse in this story is not infinite.

It is a branching system shaped by one principle:

Every major choice splits reality.

Each "branch" becomes a timeline with its own future, rules, and consequences.

Key Concepts:

1. Divergent Timelines

When a decision is made differently, a new branch forms.

These timelines can be stable… or unstable.

Unstable ones collapse unless supported by an "anchor" – someone like Aren.

2. The Multi-Memory Engine (MME)

A device created to observe and compare timelines.

Originally designed for research, it became the cause of the first collapse.

It holds fragments of memory from alternate worlds and can reshape reality.

3. V-0

A version of Aren from a timeline that no longer exists.

Survived collapse.

Became something beyond human.

Now seeks to unify all timelines into one path.

4. The Fracture Zone

A space outside normal timelines.

Where lost worlds echo.

Aren wakes here at the end of Book 1.

This world expands through choices, consequences, and the weight of what could have been.
