A few days later Xiao long had already healed from his injuries .This was his first time been seriously injured.The other times if was a few bruises and scrapes,but this time it was an internal injury his liver had been displaced and a few pieces of his lungs were shredded apart.If he hadn't tempered his bones they would have been torn apart.

It is the main meridian for the gathering (Qi essence) and nourishing of vital essence (blood essence).
For one to be able to open this meridian at the Body tempering realm it was considered a blessing since they will be able to refine Qi and blood essence faster than other cultivators ,and also they will have a doubled if not trippled amount of strength in each cultivation realm.
Opening it was easy as it was not as fragile as the other meridians .He took a whole day tempering and widening it until he couldn't.
Using it as the primary node he was able to its counterpart the Governing vessel( Du Mai) meridian.This meridian acts as the Sea of yang governing all yang meridians .It helps in nourishing the brain and the spine .
Opening it Xiao long felt as if he can now see.It was as if all this time he was blind and his brain thinking capacity increased .A veil had been lifted .
When the two meridians were finally tempered a purple energy began forming in his meridians circulating into every inch of his body feeling him with boundless strength he felt he had the power to destroy anything regardless of its Cultivation realm. Although it was an illusion he knew the potential of this type of energy.
