Jacob's pupils suddenly shrank, his voice filled with shock.
"A Dragon Slayer Mage with eight Dragon Slayer Lacrima inside his body launched an attack like that, yet it was completely ineffective? Just how strong is that defense?"
Kurnugi's face was full of mockery.
"At that level, it barely counts as scrubbing his back, right? That guy is destroying his confidence! He likes doing that."

But his twin ponytails were cut off by Raizel!

Then he raised it high with both hands.
Sword light wrapped around the blade, and the blade itself continued extending higher and higher.
It descended toward Serena with unstoppable force.
Serena desperately wanted to dodge, but he felt as though he had been locked on.
He could also use Eight Dragons' Wild Fang to at least reduce some of its power.
But deep inside, he felt he could not do it.
His pupils began trembling. His breathing grew rapid, and for some reason, his legs started shaking.
The atmosphere of Magic Power and sword energy was vast and majestic.
Endless Magic Power and sword energy pressed down like a great river and boundless sea, suppressing Serena's fighting spirit.
Countless streams of Magic Power gathered into a giant sword hundreds of feet tall, then cleaved down with a thunderous slash.
