[Aiden's POV]
My breathing slowed down as I waited for the screen to materialize before me. What kind of reward will it be? The lower-tier reward already has provided me full access and half authority to a whole Mythic beast-filled realm, and this reward was supposed to be of a higher level.
The screen popped up with the information.
[Name – Origin Primarch Bloodline]
[Rank – Infinite-grade]
[Type—Bloodline/Absolute Race Evolution]
[Species – Non-human]
[Bloodline Overview]
The Origin Primarch Bloodline will transform the host into a Primarch, a perfected race designed to contain, wield, and evolve unlimited power without collapse.
The host will no longer be human; the human traits will persist only by conscious choice.
[Core Bloodline Effects:]
– Absolute compatibility with all energies, powers, bloodlines, physiques, and elements.
– Perfect control over all opposing forces, Equilibrium: Source of all balance.
– Immunity to backlash, corruption, poison, curses, genetic interference, and power rejection.
– Soul, Mind and Body ascend to the primarch constitution.
– Evolution potential: Boundless
– Lifespan: Arrested at Prime Age (Cosmic-Scale)
I exhaled multiple times while sitting on the bed. What the hell was this? Something that could change my race.
I never heard of a bloodline changing the race, some get traits or appearance related to bloodline, i guess i will add that to new list of 'Things i don't know.'
I didn't have enough knowledge to even dream about that. I finally asked the system, the giver of all things, "System, what the heck is this?"
[This is the only Infinite-grade Bloodline in existence.]
"What...and what does this 'Primarch' even mean?" I presented my question.
[The Primarch represents the apex of the species of the whole creation.]
"That's a very short explanation. Apex of creation, so would my power level increase, or will I grow horns or wings or something like that?" I questioned whatever came to my mind.
[No, your cultivation level would remain the same, but your strength will surely increase manifold. A human turning into a Primarch has never happened before, so I can't say the exact result.]
[However, being a Primarch simply means having the absolute best of everything. So in a simple way, your entire existence would gain the similarity to your Apex, so it entirely depends on you.]
"Hmm...okay, this is the only path currently available to me, so I should take it...no, I would take it. All this current situation of mine was due to the fact that I was weak and potential-less. I won't be facing the same situation again," I vowed to myself, clenching my fist symbolically.
"So, do I have to perform any special ritual for this, or should I simply take it out from inventory and drink it or absorb it? First, how should I access inventory?" I opened the barrage of questions again; inwardly, I was excited.
I have always read about how bloodline or physique can provide stat boosts and increase elemental affinities, among many things. I didn't get any physique now, but maybe I will next time.
[The system will surely advise you against that. If you take out the blood drop here now, it will immediately put you in danger, and you will die.]
[The system can protect you by shielding the potency of the gift but cannot actively defend you; always remember that.]
The system gave me a stern warning; my brows raised due to this reaction. I didn't know the implications and reasons behind that; I wanted my safety as well.
"So even if you provided me some way to use this without taking it out. Won't that put my life in constant danger then?" I truly questioned System for the first time.
[Hiding a raw, visible source of power is difficult compared to doing it when it has a body, an anchor, and a different aura to that.]
[It won't be recognizable anymore. It won't remain a blood drop of the Primarch but instead will become your blood; I wouldn't even need to hide it then.]
"Ahh...okay. You have said you could never harm, and I haven't gotten anything except life-changing things till now. So, I will trust you on that.
Now how do I use the blood drop without sending myself to death?" I understood the point given by the system, and I didn't have to complain about anything yet.
[You could use your access to Primeval Dominion. That is your own personal realm, and it's warded against any such intrusion and leaks. So you should go there, and I will guide you about the rest.]
[Focus your mind on inventory, and it will become accessible to you. Then think about the item you want from it, and it will appear in your hand.]
I followed directions given by the system. I felt my connection to a space that seemed endless to me. Then I thought about the Transcendent reward, and a prismatic stone appeared in my hand.
I observed the stone; it looked mesmerizing and gave an ethereal feeling.
[Hold the stone in your hand and think about opening a gateway from her to your realm. It will happen naturally; you don't need to force it.]
I followed the system instructions, but just as I put the stone in my hand and thought about opening a gate, the stone disappeared. However, the system answered immediately.
[The stone was only a representation; it is linked to you directly now. Think on it, and you will understand]
I closed my eyes and focused on the thought of opening a gate, and I felt something, a faint connection to something vast.
A few seconds later, a tear started appearing in front of me, but it was not disturbing the surroundings. I instinctively went a bit back on my bed, but nothing happened.
Then a system prompt appeared.
[You have opened a portal to Primeval Dominion; please enter.]
I watched the portal in front of me. I have read many theories and books about portals in the academy, but this was my first time seeing a portal.
It was not disturbing the space, the general nature of portals, which I have read. This has become a norm, so I didn't mind something unexpected happening in front of me.
As I stepped towards the portal, I already felt the shift and difference between this place and the place behind the portal. I took a deep breath and muttered, "Here goes nothing," as I entered the portal.
I stepped outside the portal, and the scenery in front of me had changed. The air around me felt fresh, alive, and lighter than usual.
The vision before me cleared, and all I could see were grasslands stretched as far as I could see. The system panel appeared in front of me.
[You have entered the Plains of Endless Horizon of Primeval Dominion.]
[Other zones:]
Abyss of the Drowned Epoch, Solar Wastes of Raem-kha, Crown of Everfrost, Verdant Expanse of the First Grove, Caldera
[Functions:]
– Time dilation available in limited area (1:10)
– Safe exit protocol for the host
– Training an exploration enabled
– Resource harvesting allowed (with permission from the Overlord of the zone)
I dismissed the panels and looked around to take in the visuals around me. The mana in the air was caressing my cheeks; the slow wind caused the grass blades to sway and shimmer.
I noticed an average-sized pond on the other side, which appeared clean from this distance. I looked at clouds charged with lightning above. There wasn't any lightning on the grounds, but the clouds looked like they were ready to hit the grass blades below.
I felt a shadow pass over in the sky. "Is that the mythical beast?" I asked curiously.
[Yes, but should you undergo your race change using the reward?]
"Yeah, I was just entranced seeing this serene and calm scene." I chuckled slightly.
I focused on the last rewards from my inventory and a gold-colored blood shimmering with otherworldly intensity and luster.
I felt a deep attraction to it naturally, like my entire being was screaming to seize the opportunity and grab the blood.
Now I somewhat understood what system meant. I felt thankful that I didn't bring it out in the open.
[Let the blood drop do the rest. You don't need to worry about it.]
[However, I want to tell you. You will be rewritten on every level; your entire existence will change after that. You could even shed your humanity and become different than you are now. The choice will be upto you.]
"I will change, huh? Well, I don't want to leave my humanity, though. My ambitions and dreams are all that of a human.
If I leave it now after getting power. How would I be any different from my family? I may leave some of my naiveté behind though." I took my stand and told my thoughts, chuckling at the end.
[Well, Host, best of luck.]
"Thanks, system," I replied and let the blood float on its own.
It floated for a second, then shot towards my chest. It entered and disappeared. I was checking for what happened; suddenly I felt a shift occurring in me.
