Jimmy had a lot on his plate today. Likewise, he hated the idea that he had to deal with invaders again, right at this moment, when he couldn't afford to dedicate even an hour of time to fight them off!
There were tens of shapeshifters depending on him, people who he made a lot of promises to, so he was praying to whatever God that was listening, that the enemy wasn't going to attack his tribe tonight! He was praying that they were as dumb today as they had been a few days ago, and hadn't learned how to develop battle tactics.
If the enemy was approaching from that one spot near the west hills where the rocky mountains met an end, then his tribe was in big trouble! There wasn't nearly enough time to prepare a defensive counterattack, but he wasn't planning to take the potential attack laying down either. He wanted to have some sort of an edge against any possible threat!
