The beautiful woman standing beside Leon looked at him as her voice came out low. "User, if you don't know about these races, then please let me give you the descriptions of them."
She took a small pause and then pointed her finger towards the first race, which is 'Human'. "The humans are always balanced and adaptable. They even possess no extreme strengths or weaknesses, and that makes them capable of growing in any direction. Their innate versatility grants slightly faster EXP gain and improved compatibility with most classes."
Then she pointed her finger at the second race, which is 'Elf'. "Elves are usually graceful and attuned to nature. Elves excel in agility, magic, and perception."
Then, in the last pointed towards 'Dwarves'. "Dwarves are sturdy and relentless craftsmen. Dwarves have exceptional endurance, strength, and resistance to physical damage."
After thinking for a while, Leon finally made his decision as he extended his finger and clicked the race that he wanted to opt for.
[Race chosen: Human.]
[Perfect choice, User.]
[Now, it's time for you to choose the class that you want to take in this journey of yours.]
•[Warrior]
•[Mage]
•[Archer]
•[Rogue]
•[Cleric]
•[Berserker]
A small smile curled up on Leon's face as he looked at the panel containing all of the classes. "Most of them are boring, let me go with the mage-class. It'll be fun that way."
He extended his finger forward and clicked on the image class
[Congratulations, User.]
[User is finally done with setting up their avatar; they can finally log into the game.]
[Teleporting the User to the first city.]
Leon's body was suddenly teleported to a lobby, and a big screen was in front of his eyes, which reflected. "The Tutorial Begins."
The tutorial, where the newbie players spawn to complete a small mission. Leon's surroundings changed into a small village; the village was half-burnt, the smoke was coming out of the houses as it filled the air, and even breathing felt difficult.
[Tutorial Mission: You're at one end of the village; your mission is to reach the second end of the village, which is on the opposite side.]
A small smirk curled up on Leon's face as he dashed forward. There were some other players too, and screams started to erupt from the crowd when they noticed a bunch of goblins coming from all four directions, running towards them.
[Enemies Detected:]
[Goblins 5X]
The goblins were armed with small daggers. Leon didn't pay any attention to his surroundings or any other player. He looked at his stats, and the panel appeared in front of his eyes; it was shimmering with bright blue light.
[Level: 1]•[Strength: 1]•[Agility: 1]•[Endurance: 1]•[Intellect: 1]•[Mana: 30]
[Skills:]
•[Mana Blast: a small blast of mana leaves through your hands in the form of energy and blasts on impact with the target. Cost: 5 mana.]
Leon's eyes furrowed, his gaze shifted towards the front, and fell onto the group of goblins. "Time to hunt." He dashed forward as he said.
Leon didn't go too close to the group of goblins; he stood a little far away from them, and then a small smirk curled up on his lips, extending his right hand forward towards the goblins as he whispered under his breath. "Mana Blast."
White energy started to cover the right hand of Leo. When the mana had finally gathered enough around his hand, it automatically shot forward towards the target, and it hit the goblins. The impact wasn't too big, but it was enough for Leon to notice a small opening to hunt them all.
Leon scanned the houses nearby as he found a bunch of bottles of alcohol, all of which were opened and finished, but there was one that had just a little bit of liquid left inside it. Leon leaned in slightly as he picked it up in his hand. His voice came low but firm. "This will do the work for now."
Leon then rushed back out of the house and threw the bottle towards the group of goblins, which were still trying to recover from the mana blast.
The bottle was still in the air as Leon shot another mana blast at the bottle. The mana blast and the remaining alcohol collided with each other, and a huge fire erupted when it made contact with the goblins.
The goblins were not able to run or find any way to recover themselves, and in the end died as they were burned to death.
[You are the first person to kill a group of oogoblins in this way.]
[Title received: Brewed Executioner]
[Your first hit on any new enemy deals +10% bonus damage (scales with level).]
A small smirk curled up on Leon's face as he got an item drop from killing the goblins.
[Item received: 1 stat temporary boost potion (Epic).]
•[It increases your stats 5X the usual amount.]
Leon smirked as he made his way deeper into the village. When he reached the middle of the village, he saw that most of the goblins were now slain by the other players, and the only remaining entity in the village was the boss.
When Leon reached the centre of the village, he noticed that a huge goblin was carrying a giant mace, the mace was kept on its shoulder. The goblin was breathing heavily, as the air that was coming out of its nose was clearly visible.
[Name: Goblin Warrior Leader]
[Level: 5]•[Strength: 10]•[Endurance: 8]•[Agility: 4]•[Intellect: 3]
Leon gulped, a nd a small bead of sweat formed on his forehead as his voice came low. "What the... that thing is the tutorial boss? Are you kidding me right now, bro?"
Leon opened his inventory as he summoned the potion, which he obtained a while ago. The potion materialised in his hand out of the thin air. Leon didn't waste a second as he drank it.
[The potion is in effect.]
•[Strength: 1 -> 5]•[Agility: 1 -> 5]•[Endurance: 1 -> 5]
Leon lifted his hand slightly as he ran it through his long black hair, tying it at the back with a small rubber band. His voice came low but steady. "I'm not gonna die in the tutorials at the very least." He muttered under his breath as he dashed forward towards the Goblin Leader.
