Jay's POV
I drove to school like a maniac...my head was throbbing with anger.... no-one can bully my children...when I gave birth to them I promised myself that I would be the Best mother in the world....I would never allow anyone to touch them or make them feel unwanted... circumstances somehow stopped me from protecting my children in school by using surnames...I knew that on hearing mariano everyone will treat them differently...and I never wanted my children to be treated as some royal ones ..I wanted them to study as normal students ...I wanted them to realise that money is earned by hardwork....but bullying my children?? This is something I can never stand with ...
After reaching there I didn't waste a single second...the guards bowed to me but my focus wasn't there ...the assistant informed the principal about the arrival of mine ...I opened the door and entered there ...
But the moment I entered... my world went still ...my heartbeat became Faster....I couldn't believe what I saw .... Keifer my love ...my everything...the one whom I have tried to avoid these 5 years stood there with section E....all of them were as shocked as me .. keifer's breath hitched....our eyes met each other with broken soul and Harsh truth but in deep it contained unspoken warmth...
Keifer looked so mature....he became more handsome than high school keifer...he looked more untouchable and cold from outside...but Deep down I knew that he was still my little ulupong who quarreled with me for profanity kisses ...who took my fries and called it appetizer...who kissed me like I was his dessert...
Keifer's bare whisper..." Jay Jay" blurred into my thought...my whole body stiffened.... nothing came from my mouth neither I could move my eyes from his soft lingering gaze...
Suddenly principle 's words brought me to reality....
Principal: mam ...why didn't you tell me that you would visit?? I could have send a driver... please take a seat...
Mrs Royce: Ms mariano...nice to meet you ...I am Mrs Royce...one of the shareholders of this school....do you remember me ...I met you at previous year 's party in loss Angeles...
Mr Smith: Ms mariano...it's Great to see you here ...I would love to co- operate with your company...
Before I could speak karlo and Serina came to me and said...
Karlo : mommy...you took so long to come ...they were telling that they would kick us out ...
The room fell silent...all of them said in unison " mommy?"
Keifer: karlo....you ...you ... Jay Jay is your Mum?
Principal: karlo... Serina...you guys ...why are you calling her Mom?? She is the biggest shareholder of our school...
Yuri : Serina??? Isn't she June ??
Mrs Smith: you uncultured children...you dare to call anyone mom ??
My fist clenched in anger...I said in cold voice...
Jay : I am not here to visit this school neither to negotiate any deal ...I am here today ...as the mother of my children.... karlo and Serina...
All of them stood eye's wide...
Principal: mam ...they ...they ...they are your c.. children??
Mrs Smith: h,.how can that..b ..be possible?
Mr Royce: aren't they scholarship students??
Serina: sir ...you wanted to know our surnames?? So...I am Serina June Mariano Watson..and ..
Karlo: I am Mark Karlo Mariano Watson....
Mr Smith: Watson???!!!! ...they are ..
Keifer: ( eyes teary... looking at me ) they ...they are my children??
I realised that there was no escape.... section E and keifer all got to know about them ,..I tried to shift the conversation...
Jay : they are not any scholarship students...they are my children...I never wanted my children to get any special treatment so I forbade them to use those surnames...but it seemed like this school only focuses on royal children...the students who got here by working hard don't have any respect?? They are treated in this way ????
Principal: no Mam I didn't -
I cut him off...
Jay : shut up ....just keep your mouth shut ,.. today if I didn't hold any Power then my children would have been kicked out while they did nothing??? They were clearly bullied by them....you being a teacher how can you tolerate this ??
Mr Smith: Ms mariano I didn't know that they are your children...I ..
Jay : mr Smith...a child 's behaviour comes from home...there is an idiom that charity begins at home ...and I think...you yourself need to learn those social behaviour before being a parent....
Mrs Royce: Ms mariano,. please listen...
Jay : I have had enough...i don't want to keep my children here anymore,...I don't think the teachers here can justify between right and wrong...as for partnership... Mrs Royce and Mr Smith....I think I need to rethink my decision...
Mr Smith: Ms mariano..
Before he could come near keifer bolted infront of us ..he said in a cold voice...
Keifer: try touching my wife and my children....if you dare to lay a finger on them ...i promise the finger wouldn't be there the next day ...
My heart melted on hearing the word wife from his mouth after so many years... tears were gathering in my eyes... suddenly Serina Said....
Serina: mom ...that Good uncle is calling you wife ...is he our Daddy??
Section E and keifer looked at me for an answer.. keifer stood beside me not touching me but guarding us like ...he wouldn't let us escape.....
