Taking her boots off, she moved to sit on a table in the middle of the room; Ray knew her plan, so he just followed.

Ray laughed, "Which means I will die before reaching level 6."
"You knew?" Her face showed no sign of care. "How certain is the outcome? What is your plan?"
"100 percent, and I don't have a plan."
Katarina understood he didn't want to continue on the topic, so she let it go. But she was sure of one thing: Ray had a plan for whatever was about to come.
