Harry Potter, famous in the wizarding world of Britain as the boy who lived. But his life is nothing but literal hell. His aunt's family abused him from childhood and he wished he can find a different home. And he did, Hogwarts, he thought his life will be better. But trouble always found it's way to him in the past three years here and even now.
Harry became the champion of Hogwarts, an additional champion to be exact. He don't know how it happened. It just happened. He hated being in the limelight and his best friend Ronald knew it too, but he acted like a prick accusing him that he never treated him like a friend or else he would have shared the secret to triwizard tournament.
No one believed him. Griffyndoor has a complex reaction on this. His friends stopped hanging out with him. He was shunned by the entire house, even Hermione. Well let's forget about her, she cares more for books and occasionally cared for him at least. He is grateful for that.
Even now, there was a huge fight between him and Ron in the common room. No one supported him, Harry Potter felt his anger boiling when Ron said," you're an attention seeking prick, you cared about your friends Harry. If you did, you wouldn't have put your name in goblet alone ". No one said a thing when Ron spoke those words, not even saying a word in his defense.
That's the breaking point. Harry lost it, he left immediately without looking back. He left the common room and wandered the corridors for hours in the cold night with the marauder's map and invisibility cloak. As he is roaming, with a pop dobby appeared.
" Can Dobby help the Great Harry Potter with anything sir? Many house elf friends said, Sir Harry is roaming the corridors for hours ", looking at the house elf who is concerned about him, Harry couldn't help but feel touched. At least he found someone who cares for him at this moment.
He asked," Dobby, I want to sleep peacefully for the night. Abandoned classrooms are all in a messy condition. Can you show me a good room? ", Dobby jumped with excitement," yes sir I can. Follow me ", Dobby took Harry to the 7th floor corridor and showed him the room of requirement.
Looking at the room that appeared Harry was bewildered. Hogwarts sure is magical, just when he thought he discovered the castle there is something new. Same with the chamber of secrets, the marauder's map didn't show it. As he entered the room, Dobby said," this is the room of requirement according to the house elves in Hogwarts sir. Every year after cleaning, most of the un needed things will be stored in one of the rooms of room of requirement ".
Harry blinked and asked," one of the rooms? There are more ", Dobby said," there are sir. According to the house elves, the room of requirement is created by one of the founders, lady Rowena Ravenclaw herself. It changes rooms according to the preference of the user sir. Anyone in Hogwarts from guest to headmaster can access room of requirement if they wanted and of course, if the castle appraoves of it ".
Harry had another doubt," wait, the castle allows it? You mean Hogwarts castle itself is alive or something ", Dobby said," not alive sir. But there are certain enchantments on the castle especially this room of requirement that can almost mimic the behaviour of living things ".
Harry asked," what kind of needs can this room fulfill? ", Dobby became doubtful and said," I'll ask the oldest house elf and will come back sir ", Harry hesitated and said," wait dobby. Please tell them to keep this a secret. No one speaks about me being here at this hour or anything okay. Tell them to keep this a secret. Also ask the full capabilities of this room. I want every single detail about room of requirement ", Dobby nodded," certainly sir ".
With that the house elf vanished. Harry turned to see the king sized bed. He dropped himself on it and as he felt cold with all the roaming around castle at night, he wished there would be some warmth and muttered it softly. Immediately the fire place there lit up. Harry looked at this in disbelief.
He then wanted to try something else. So he asked for a desk in the room for his study and a desk popped up. He is amazed by this and this bed is very comfortable although it's blue in colour. Must he Ravenclaw's taste. Harry lay on the bed and almost fell asleep when Dobby appeared again.
He told Harry a clear report about the room of requirement. Not even a single detail is missed, when Harry heard there is every room a man can think of, he decided to test it. He asked for a room filled with food, and there it is. He asked for a room filled with wealth. There is is again. Books, a huge library, even bigger than Hogwarts library itself appeared. According to dobby, this is Rowena's personal collection. She believed everyone should possess equal opportunity regardless of the house and made this room then stored away all her life's work and legacy.
Books are boring but Harry seemed to not get any sleep even though he is lying on the most comfortable bed he ever had, so he chose to spend time in the Rowena's personal library instead. And the room also has a stack feature. So if he wants to, there would be bedroom but it also connects to the library.
Harry did exactly that. He wanted to forget everything while reading a book or two. But as he asked for the personal library, when it appeared. He saw many books on pedastals. He casually flipped a book but the signature on it's first page caught him off guard.
