Lilith thought for a moment before giving an answer. ''They will probably send someone to observe first before deciding on the next course of action.''
''Exactly, so do you think if the chief of angel send someone to the church he/she will let anyone make move before they ordered it? Probably not, so, this will give us a little bit of window to prepare. Hopefully, the other side, I mean the demon will adopt the same approach. I made my first hypothesis based on the fact that the church will obediently follow the special envoy's order. I can't say the same for the demons, though.''
After thinking for a moment Lilith arrived at the same conclusion, also she thought the demon's envoy would observe as well, not because they'd know the angel would obviously send someone so they would be wary, they would want to know more about the couple, how they came to be, so they'd quietly observe only move when the higher up ordered them to. In the highest level of the opulent white church, the Pope, a bald old man was kneeling before a figure sitting on the chair who should have normally be his, it was the divine envoy, a man of otherworldly face, long white hair coupled with light gold eyes, 3 pairs of wings unfolded at his back.
''Divine envoy, it's exactly as you have predicted, someone someone the two of them. What should we do?" The Pope asked with a trembling voice, not daring to raise his face as he calmly awaited his next order.
''Let us observe for now, nobody approach pr do anything without my order, do you understand?"
''Certainly, divine envoy.''
The angel nodded satisfied, not only he had to observe those two from afar, he must look out for the worm send by the other side, it would have been easy to crush them but he couldn't do that, the leader's order was supreme in absence of the God.
