The earth was cracked, the sky was blue.
Many corpse were surrounded the area, One was alive breathing unevenly, Hands and legs were crushed.
He was crawling away, as the terrible figure with white hair and Red eyes loomed over him.
The who was in such pitiful condition was Danzo, this was all before the start of the second Great Shinobi war.
Ryo had invaded The ROOTS and killed everyone he saw.
Disgust. Hate. Envy. Fear
Danzo was feeling so many emotions he couldn't comprehend.
In Danzo's head was filled with chaos as Ryo's words were rang in his ears.
"Useless. How PATHETIC are you even the student of the second Hokage." Ryo mocked with a Grim voice.
Danzo couldn't look him in the eyes.
'NO! I have live for Konoha!', He Thought
"I swear for what you have done I will make sure to carve the same SENJU onto your Pathetic little soul."
Danzo forgot his pride and tried to crawl away faster.
"Your souls which is nothing but a waste of live, you are a waste of your mothers 9 months, a waste of food and air. JUST die already."
As Ryo about to stab Danzo on the back of his head, another kunai interputted him.
And the Nightmare ended.
Danzo waked up with his breath uneven, "A nightmare, it's just a nightmare... That bastard is dead... "
The room of Danzo Shimura was silent after the nightmare.
The lamp beside his bed flickered softly, shadows stretching across the walls. His breathing slowly stabilized, though the memory of that white-haired figure still lingered like poison in his mind.
Ryo's voice echoed faintly.
Useless… Pathetic…
Danzo clenched his jaw.
"That bastard is dead," he whispered again, as if repeating it enough times would make the fear disappear.
After a moment he stood up.
Without summoning guards or attendants, he quietly left his chamber and walked down a dim corridor deep beneath Konohagakure.
This section of the underground network was older than the official Root facilities. Few people even knew it existed.
Not even Orochimaru.
A hidden door opened after a complex sequence of seals.
Behind it lay a second laboratory.
The room was darker, colder, and far more secretive than the main Root facilities. Strange containment chambers lined the walls, scrolls stacked in locked cabinets, and sealed documents lay spread across a large metal table.
Living test subject mere childrens were being subjected to torture.
Some were performing, surgeries, and some were removed and maintaining organs in cylinders.
Several masked Root operatives immediately bowed when Danzo entered.
Many scientists in lab ropes too were present there.
One stepped forward. "Lord Danzo."
Danzo's visible eye moved slowly across the room. "Report."
The operative hesitated slightly before speaking.
"Project OYR continues according to schedule."
Danzo's gaze sharpened.
"And Project Dark ROOTS?"
Another operative answered this time.
"The preparations are still incomplete. The final phase requires further… materials."
Danzo's expression remained unreadable.
"Accelerate it," he ordered.
The operatives nodded silently.
Danzo walked deeper into the laboratory, staring at several sealed containers before turning away.
The nightmare had shaken him.
But fear could be turned into preparation.
And preparation into power.
The near death encounter he had with Ryo, had pushed him ever since, he had learnt no one with power should be out of his control.
Project Oyr and Project Dark ROOTS are two such projects.
He has started to keep his cards to himself not trusting anyone. He him he is the only one sane left.
Danzo looked at a picture on the clipboard.
It had many pictures on it some had, red cross on them while some did not.
A picture with a man in his 30s with white hair, none other than Sakumo Hatake had a red cross.
Nawaki the younger brother of Tsunade had a red cross.
Orochimaru didn't have a red cross.
A girl of age about 17 or 19 with blonde gold hair and deep red eyes, who was none other than Tsuna Senju, the daughter of Ryo and Tsunade didn't have a red cross.
"Soon I will have my revenge... I have already taken away the goddamn Senju Clan you were so proud of, I will take down the Uchiha too, then Your daughter."
