Chapter 23 - Ch-23 Downsides of Kuso Hensei.

I woke up with pain all over my body.

Damn it hurts like hell! I looked at my body it was covered with bandaged all over.

I tried to sit up and barely managed to do so.

I looked up to see Orochimaru writing something on a paper, he appeared to be careful and focused while writing.

"(cough) (cough)", I fake coughed to get his attention.

But he ignored me. So I did it again.

"(cough) (cough)", and he ignored me again.

My eye twitched, and my face darkened and I yelled, "Oi Sens-!"

He then threw the paper he was writing on.

And guess where he threw it, MY FACE!

Before I could yell again, he said.

"Those are the Downsides of your Kuso Hensei."

This guy, I swear he might have a talent for a Hunter pathway.

Then I immediately dropped that theory because, Hunter pathway has the corresponding Demoness pathway.

And the thought of a female Orochimaru, sends shivers down my spine.

I looked at the paper and began reading it.

Despite its versatility, Kūsō Hensei (空想変生) carries several severe drawbacks that justify its classification as a forbidden technique within the logic of Chakra.

First, the technique requires a constant supply of chakra to maintain the imposed transformation. Because the user is forcing their body to conform to an artificial chakra blueprint, the altered structure cannot stabilize naturally and must be continuously sustained by chakra flow.

If the user's reserves begin to drop, the form may destabilize or collapse, potentially causing internal strain on the body and chakra coils.

Second, the transformation depends heavily on precise mental focus. Since the new form is created from an imagined blueprint in the user's mind, any sudden shift in thought during the transformation process can interfere with the chakra pattern being constructed.

If the user accidentally visualizes something different midway through the process, the technique may attempt to merge the conflicting images, producing an unintended and often grotesque hybrid of the two ideas.

In Akira's case it seemed he wanted to turn into a Wolf, but in the mind started thinking about the Nine-Tails which lead to the orange fur and red eyes of teh transformation.

This could have been lethal, but Akira seemed to have gotten lucky.

This makes the technique extremely dangerous in chaotic battle conditions where concentration can easily break.

Finally, the process of reversing the transformation is just as delicate as initiating it. If the user fails to properly release or unwind the chakra structure, the body may remain trapped in that altered configuration permanently, or become stuck in a partially transformed state.

In such cases, the form continues to draw chakra passively in order to sustain itself, which can lead to constant chakra drain and long-term physical instability. For this reason, improper use of Kūsō Hensei can leave a shinobi permanently altered or weakened even outside of combat.

For example : Akira's left arm seemed to have been stuck at the transformation and was constantly draining Chakra.

There was no way to stop this at the time due the fact that his Chakra was draining fast.

So his left arm was amputated.

Amputated? I looked at my left arm it was there, in fact I thought it was functional.

Infact it was the only one part of my body without bandages.

I looked at Orochimaru for answers.

"Your left arm was cut off, the one you currently have is one of your clones, since due to your zero organ rejection rate it probably feels like it is your own."

I paused.... This snakey son of a bitc-...
