Chapter 51 - Chapter 51

That same day in Derry.

Georgie was at home, lying in his bed. He had been discharged after a month in the hospital. He had developed a fear of leaving the house and was afraid of being alone, so his mother spent the entire day by his side.

At that moment, Georgie was playing on a new video game console that had just come out and that his parents had bought for him so he could have fun and avoid thinking about what had happened to him.

His mother was watching a soap opera on another TV, occasionally turning to look at Georgie, happy to see him slowly getting better. During the first few days, he didn't speak at all, and they had to wait an entire week before he began talking again.

That was when he told them something impossible: that it had been a clown who tore his arm off, and that if it hadn't been for that boy Liam, who left town the very next day, he probably would have been taken into the sewers.

The police had found him on the morning of the day Liam left, but when she and her husband went to ask about the boy, everyone said that somehow they had all ended up unconscious and with their cars rendered unusable. After that day, the Kennedy family was never found again.

They tried to search outside the town, but somehow, every time they sent information about the family elsewhere, there was no response, and the agents who went out to look for them returned shortly afterward without remembering what they had gone to do.

This caused the case to be closed a month later and the search for the family to be abandoned, accepting that the culprit was probably an animal and completely ignoring the child's statements that it had been a clown.

She and her husband tried to look for information about people who worked as clowns in Derry, hoping to find the culprit, but they found nothing important—only some information about clowns from decades ago.

They didn't show the images to Georgie because every time he sees a clown now, he becomes so frightened that he trembles uncontrollably and is unable to say a single word until hours later.

Sharon was happy to see Georgie improving, although she was somewhat worried about her older son, who had been acting strangely in recent days and spent almost all day with his friends.

At that moment, someone began knocking on the door.

This caused Sharon to frown, since she wasn't expecting any visitors today.

She looked at Georgie playing on the video game console and said,

"Georgie, I'll be right back. I'm going to see who's knocking on the door."

Georgie simply nodded while remaining focused on the game.

Sharon walked to the entrance, and when she opened the door, she found a middle-aged man with an ordinary appearance holding a large package in his arms.

"Mrs. Denbrough?" the man asked with a small smile.

"Yes, that's me." Sharon looked at the package before continuing. "I'm sorry, sir, I don't remember ordering anything."

"Oh, don't worry, it's an order from your husband, Zack," the man said as he began searching inside his jacket.

"Here, this is your husband's signature." The man handed her a document with a signature.

Sharon took it and examined the signature carefully before saying doubtfully, "It's true. This is my husband's signature."

The man nodded with a smile. "It's very heavy, and I was told to open the package as well since its contents are very delicate," the man said seriously.

Sharon looked at the man for a moment before speaking. "Alright, come with me."

With that, Sharon guided the man to the entrance of the living room, where Georgie could be seen playing inside.

The man set the package down on the floor and spoke. "I'll take out the contents to be delivered right away," he said with a smile.

Sharon nodded doubtfully before turning around to let Georgie know she was back.

At the moment she turned away, something strange began to happen to the middle-aged man. His body started twisting in a horrific way, his skin and flesh seeming to peel away as they changed into what looked like painted skin, and his body began to grow.

His clothes slowly transformed into a clown outfit, while a balloon appeared in his hand. There was no longer a middle-aged man there. Now, standing there, was Pennywise.

"Georgie, I'm back," Sharon said, relieved that Georgie was still okay.

"Hello, Georgie," Pennywise said playfully.

That voice sent a chill through Sharon as she slowly began to turn her head.

Upon hearing that voice, Georgie dropped the controller in terror and turned his head to see Pennywise smiling behind his mother.

"Ahhhhhh!" Georgie screamed in fear as he crawled across the floor the same way he had tried to escape from Pennywise after he tore his arm off. Seeing Pennywise seemed to revive the trauma to the point that he forgot he could walk and felt like he was back on that same day.

"I came back for you, Georgie, and I brought gifts," Pennywise said with a wide smile.

At that moment, Sharon had already turned around and could see that the man she had allowed inside had somehow disappeared, and now in front of her stood a clown very similar to one she had found while researching old archives.

Pennywise, who had been portrayed by Bob Gray almost 100 years ago.

"Impossible. You shouldn't be alive, Bob Gray," Sharon said as she backed toward the phone.

"Oh, what memories. I ate that man a long time ago," Pennywise said amused.

Sharon was already calling the police, but there was no answer. With no other option, she tried to call her husband for help.

"Come on, Zack, answer," Sharon said fearfully as she watched Pennywise stare at her with a smile, making no attempt to stop her.

At that moment, the call connected, and Sharon spoke urgently.

"Dear, I need you to come back quickly and call the police."

"Calm down, love, everything will be fine soon." Sharon heard her husband's voice, but it wasn't coming from the phone—it was coming from where Pennywise was standing.

She turned her head in terror to see something that made her scream like never before.

"Ahhhhhhhhh!"

Pennywise was holding Zack's head, with no body visible, as if it had been forcibly torn from his body.

"Today I came to bring the whole family together," Pennywise said as he ran toward Sharon, opening his mouth to an impossible size, filled with countless sharp teeth.

He grabbed Sharon with his hands, lifting her effortlessly off the ground without her resistance slowing him down, and bit into the upper part of her body, tearing off half her torso, organs and all.

Terrified and feeling her strength rapidly fading, Sharon said with her last strength, "Georgie, run." After saying that, her eyes closed.

"Noooo, Mom," Georgie said upon seeing that scene, and his mother's words somehow gave him the strength to use his legs, preparing to run.

At that moment, as he ran toward the back exit of his house, his small mind could only scream the name of his older brother, thinking to look for him to help him.

"Bill, brother, help me," Georgie said as he ran.

"Don't run, Georgie. Your brother is here." At that moment, Pennywise appeared right at the exit, blocking Georgie's path, and in his hand was Bill's head.

"Soon you'll be reunited with your brother. Your brother and his friends are already floating," Pennywise said with a wide smile as he shook Bill's head in front of Georgie.

At that moment, Georgie's mind went blank. Something broke. Somehow, all the fear disappeared, and from him emerged an endless hatred toward the clown in front of him.

Pennywise's expression changed to confusion at that moment as he saw what was happening in front of him.

That hatred somehow caused a connection to open—something that never would have happened if Georgie's emotional state had not reached the level of hatred he now felt toward Pennywise.

"AHHHRRGGHHH!" A scream came from Georgie's throat, despite his young age.

His eyes, his body, and everything around him began to glow intensely with a golden color before everything was directed toward Pennywise at a terrifying speed.

That light didn't seem to damage anything material, but when it reached Pennywise, it caused him immense pain, making him scream like never before.

"ARGHHHHRHRHRHHR!" Pennywise felt that light damaging his true body in the macroverse through the connection with his avatar.

Georgie continued screaming as he sent more and more of that golden glow toward Pennywise.

In Pennywise's eyes, besides pain, fear could be seen, and he quickly escaped the place, destroying the ground as his body deformed and easily fled through the first pipe he found.

Georgie kept screaming uncontrollably for several more minutes until he lost consciousness.

Georgie had awakened an incredibly powerful radiance thanks to his loss and his hatred toward Pennywise.
