Kairo flew down with Luffy, the boy was knocked out, Kairo's Conqueror's Haki was wreaking havoc inside his body right now.
Luffy looked just so innocent. Kairo checked for a pulse and thankfully, Luffy was alive.
His theory worked well. He sighed. He was not thinking about the fact that he had practically defeated a canon Whole Cake Big Mom–level fighter with relative ease due to hacks.
This wasn't on his mind right now.
Getting Luffy to safety was the play.
His second goal was to make sure no witnesses survived this.
His gaze turned to the zombies... no witnesses.

He paused for a second. He had weighed the pros and cons of this action in his mind.
Lola was important, something to do with her card allowing Nami to live and so on.
However, that didn't matter right now. She did not form that bond with Nami. Though Loki might hate Kairo's guts if he were to find out what he did.
But it was calculated. Kairo did not trust Lola to hold this secret.
If he remembered correctly, her verbal ticks had something to do with her not being able to hold secrets. It was either that, or Lola couldn't handle people being blunt.
Either way, he did not want to risk the crew's future over a slip-up, or a gag.

His gaze landed on the pile of dead bodies.
There were truly no survivors from this.
No one who would utter a peep of this to anyone.
This action might have some consequences and may make Luffy's island with the wannabe mafia boss harder, since his baby wouldn't be born or something like that—but frankly, fuck him and his wannabe Al Capone-looking ass.
Though he could be a useful pawn.
Luffy's chest went up and down. Kairo's thoughts stopped.
Luffy was alive.
That was all that mattered.
Now, time to regroup with the Straw Hats.
Though, he had one thing to do before that.

Moria was crawling away, his body feeling like shit. He didn't know what he just saw, but he knew the World Government would be giddy to learn about this.
It had to be important.
Pushing his body to its limits, he dragged himself toward one of the remaining boats.
"Curse you, Straw Hats... you destroyed my ship."
He was annoyed with them, yet at the same time, he was giddy.
"Just you wait, once I get out of here... you will see the mistake you made."
He had a shit-eating grin on his face.
Oh yeah.
He would get out of this alive.
As he reached the edge, something dropped on him... something wet, and red.
Looking up, Moria made eye contact with something that made his soul scream in sheer terror.
"I knew I missed a bug."
Moria was about to open his mouth—

He was not leaving here alive.

Kairo landed on the deck of the Merry.
Everyone froze.
Nami's eyes locked onto Luffy immediately.
"LUFFY?!"
She rushed forward, already mid-panic, hands hovering like she didn't even know where to touch without breaking something.
"Is he breathing?! Why does he look like he died?! Why is he SMILING—WHY IS HE ALWAYS SMILING WHEN HE'S HALF DEAD?!"
"Relax," Kairo said, way too calm for the situation.
"He's just unconscious."
"JUST unconscious?!" Usopp snapped. "HE LOOK LIKE A DECREPIT GRANDPA!"
"It's a side effect of using Gear 5," Kairo said, looking at Luffy.
"He will be hungry as shit when he wakes up, though."
Sanji felt a shudder run down his spine.
"If I were you, I would get to cooking."
Sanji took a drag from his cigarette before replying—
"On it."
Zoro, wrapped up like a poorly packaged mummy, leaned against the railing.
"...Tch."
Everyone looked at him.
"You're alive?" Usopp blinked.
Zoro had been bandaged like crazy.
"It will take more than that to defeat me," he said groggily. He was still massively injured and would need to rest for the foreseeable future.
"Stop moving so much, your body is still recovering from fighting the sword god, and your will still needs recovery after being exposed to the abyss."
Sanji's eyes widened.
"His soul went where?!"
"What, you scared, shitty cook?" Zoro shot back.
"As if I could ever be. Only an idiot like you would get so injured."
Franky crossed his arms, looking back toward the island.
"Yo bro... why is half the island gone?"
Franky questioned it, to which Kairo simply replied—
"Nika destroyed it."
"Nika?" Franky felt like he should know who that was.
It wasn't Tom. Tom was never a pirate—he was a fishman, and a slave at some point, so he had heard of Nika.
Franky wasn't there when Kairo explained it, so he was in the dark.
"Long story short, he's powerful."
Franky felt like Kairo was hiding something from him, but oh well.
No big deal.
Though... he couldn't help but notice the new fruit in Kairo's bag.
It was the Shadow Fruit.
A/N Yes, every living being who was on the island who wasnt a strawhat or a future strawhat member got slime dout, so that include Lola and her crew, all of the zombies and people who lost their shadows.
Dark...yes..But from Kairo point of view, not a reader of one piece, he has no connection with them and keep in mind the strawhats had no connection to any of them like in canon, so there was no reason to trust them with something as big as Luffy being the next Joyboy.
Unless yall wanted the strawhat to get jumped by Imu next arc...then yeah sure.
For anyone saying Lola wouldnt snitch or her crew, need i need to remind you that Kuma is coming under strict order to capture anyone he can, and soon after he leave, a holy knight would be sent here.
