Chapter 303 - Chapter 303: Guinaifen, You Slapped Your Best Friend To Death!

After taking a sip of water, Stelle looked over at Herta and Ruan Mei, who were chatting.

Listening to them talk about "Mr. Cold Feet," she couldn't shake the strange feeling that she'd heard something like this before.

'This... could it be...'

'It really seems possible!'

She quickly finished the pastry in her hand, licked her fingers, and spoke to the two of them.

"Maybe I know who this 'Mr. Cold Feet' is."

Both of them turned to look at Stelle at the same time. Ruan Mei remained calm, while Herta looked slightly excited.

After forcing herself to calm down, she asked, "Are you sure?"

That person's identity was still a mystery.

If that Fool hadn't lied to her, then "Mr. Cold Feet" should be here. But despite investigating online for a long time, Herta hadn't found anything.

Someone capable of hacking into Herta Space Station shouldn't be an unknown nobody. They should be quite active on the Luofu's network.

Stelle frowned and shook her head. A moment later, she nodded again.

She had never seen the person with her own eyes, nor had she heard it from them directly. Naturally, she couldn't be one hundred percent certain that he was the one who did it.

She could only give Herta a suspect.

Hearing the familiar name, Herta and Ruan Mei both fell silent.

"Right."

After a long while, Ruan Mei spoke again, "Screwllum lost contact after returning to Planet Screwllum. He may have run into some trouble."

"Isn't Planet Screwllum his home turf? What kind of trouble could he run into there?"

Herta rubbed her chin.

"I can't leave right now. What about you, Ruan Mei?"

Ruan Mei shook her head, indicating that, like Herta, she wasn't planning to leave the Xianzhou Luofu for the time being.

"Then contact the IPC. Haven't they always wanted to work with us? Have them send someone to Planet Screwllum and see what happened."

"I'm sure they won't refuse."

"And one more thing."

Herta looked at Stelle again. By now, she had already finished all the pastries Ruan Mei had made by herself.

Glancing at the empty plate, Herta asked, "So, are you planning to go back to your companions today?"

Just as Stelle opened her mouth, the phone in her pocket rang.

She looked down and saw that it was March 7th calling.

Silently, she hung up, turned off the phone, and stuffed it back into her pocket.

After wiping the crumbs from the corner of her mouth, she asked, "It should be fine if I stay, right?"

"Of course."

Watching Stelle's entire sequence of actions, Herta nodded slightly.

"After all, this place was booked by the person you mentioned."

"It's just..."

Herta suddenly changed the subject.

"You'll probably be staying on the Luofu for a while, right? I just happen to have something I need your help with."

"No problem!"

As long as it wasn't asking her to get herself killed, or go back and face March 7th, there was no problem for the current Stelle.

———

Walking out of the restaurant in Exalting Sanctum, Kiana followed the map back to the inn, while Lumine patted her chest and insisted on finding a place to stay herself.

The three parted ways at an intersection.

Returning home.

Levi turned on the light when a pair of hands suddenly covered his eyes.

"Guess who~"

Without even thinking, he replied, "The flattest of the Luofu, Qingque herself."

"..."

After saying that, Levi clearly felt the person behind him tremble slightly.

The corners of Levi's mouth rose to a perfect forty-five-degree angle. √

"Wrong!"

Levi froze.

The hands let go, and the light entered his eyes.

Standing in front of him were two people.

The Qingque he had guessed was standing there, looking at him with a dark expression.

Standing beside her was another familiar face, Cloud Knight Sushang.

If she was here, then the person behind him had to be...

"Mr. Anime Swordsman!"

"What kind of nickname is that?!"

Feeling the fist pounding on his shoulder, Levi put on a pained expression.

Careless!

He'd been played by this bunch!

"What did you mean by 'the flattest' just now?"

Qingque asked with a dark face.

The moment he saw that expression, Levi immediately realized things were bad.

When it was just the two of them, it was flirting.

With more than two people, it became humiliation.

His brain began spinning at high speed.

"I meant the strongest at playing cards in normal times!"

"For short: 'the best in normal times.'"

Hearing that, Qingque's expression eased.

"And one more thing."

Just as Levi was about to ask why Sushang and Guinaifen had come, Qingque spoke again and held up her jade abacus.

"I heard you've caught the F*mboy bug?"

There was a photo on the jade abacus.

Although it had been heavily censored, Qingque still recognized Levi from it because she knew him so well.

As for the other two people, she couldn't recognize them.

"What's a F*mboy?", Sushang asked like a curious child.

"A girl from the south?"

"Or someone's mother from the south?"

"Hmm... My hometown is also in the south of the Yaoqing Xianzhou. Does that make me a F*mboy too?"

Guinaifen pulled her to her side and whispered, "That's... not how it works..."

"Um..."

"Ah..."

After getting stuck for quite a while, she still couldn't figure out how to explain it to the innocent Sushang.

"Simply put, it's a boy who wears girls' clothes."

In the end, Levi gave an explanation Sushang could understand.

"Oh!"

Sushang showed a look of sudden understanding, then lowered her head to think.

"Then if a girl wears boys' clothes, is she called a girl-boy?"

"That's called a tomboy."

"Oh!"

"Then what do you call someone wearing half girls' clothes and half boys' clothes?"

"An attack helicopter."

"Huh?" ×2

"Ohhh!"

Sushang showed an "I see" expression.

Seeing this, Guinaifen was horrified.

"Hey, hey, hey! Don't stuff every bit of knowledge into your head!"

She hurried over, hugged Sushang's head tightly, and slapped it repeatedly from the side, trying to knock the evil knowledge back out.

Qingque, meanwhile, dealt with the problem at its source, trying to remove all the evil knowledge from Levi's head.

"It's useless."

Levi stood where he was, letting Qingque slap his head, his expression calm.

If how firmly knowledge stuck had levels...

"I'm already terminal."

"Terminal?!"

"Quick! Go get Doctor Bailu!"

"Cough, cough. I was joking, I was joking! No need to trouble Bailu!"

He pressed down Qingque's hand as she reached for her jade abacus.

After what happened at the Alchemy Commission last time, Levi had developed a bit of fear toward Bailu's treatment. If possible, it was better not to involve her.

"Seriously."

Qingque put away the jade abacus and stopped what she was doing.

Only Sushang and Guinaifen behind her continued.

"Did you really catch the F*mboy bug?"

Recalling why Levi had gone out, she frowned and asked, "That Foxian named Daiqing?"

Levi originally wanted to say he'd rather like a dog than that piece of trash.

But after seeing Qingque's tightly knitted brows, he suddenly got an idea.

He lowered his head and swayed slightly, as if he had done something wrong.

Qingque's gaze sharpened.

"I understand."

It wasn't that she couldn't accept Levi hitting on a mature woman.

But he should at least pick a woman.

If his sexual orientation changed, then what would that make her?

"H-Hey! Sushang, what's wrong with you, Sushang?!"

A cry suddenly came from behind.

Qingque turned around and saw Guinaifen standing there in a panic, while Sushang had collapsed onto the ground with foam coming out of her mouth.

"Holy crap! She's foaming at the mouth!"

Looking up, Levi's eyes instantly widened, and he blurted out,

"Guinaifen, you slapped your best friend to death!"

"Huh?!"
