After training and relaxing with the Briefs family for a short while. Kaine flew away, gaining better control over his ki and flying effortlessly to find the next dragon ball. After a short time of flight he spotted a tall white pole, piercing the clouds. OH SHIT THIS IS KORINS TOWER! He thought happily.
Korin's tower, a place no man had climbed or flew up to since the Great Master Roshi. The excited warrior was interrupted by the sound of a kid screaming. He looked down to see a plane circling around a campsite. Hand me the dragon ball and the kid doesn't get hurt! A Red Ribbon soldier exclaimed. Kaine floated down next to the soldier, punching him in the face, knocking him out of the plane and grabbing the kid, floating back down to the child's father as the plane exploded in the backround. Thank you for saving my son Upa, The giant burly man said to the saiyan.
Oh! You have the 4 star ball, can I see it? Kaine said, excitedly The large man frowned. So you were looking for the dragon ball too huh? He handed the Saiyan the dragon ball. YAY! I got grandpa's ball! Kaine exclaimed happily. What's this pillar lead to? He asked. Legend says that those who can climb the tower will receive divine water that can increase their abilities. The man replied. So I can get stronger if I climb this tower. Interesting. My name is Kaine by the way. He said, raising his hand to shake the taller man's. Bora, this is my son Upa. The man said, shaking his hand and pointing to the kid. Bora and Upa are guards of the divine tower and the Chief and future Chief of the Karinga Tribe.
In the middle of their conversation the perceptive Saiyan heard an incoming projectile. GET BACK! He yelled. The 3 hopped back from each other. Suddenly a pink pillar fell near the fire and a man with a ponytail and mustache wearing a pink qipao landed close by. Nice to kill ya. The man said. Tao Pai Pai, World renowned assassin. Kaine said with mild anger. He remembered what the evil man did to Bora in the original and wasn't going to let that happen. Is it me you've come for? He asked the assassin already knowing the answer. Yes. I intend to complete my mission as well. Tao replied. No, my mission is more important than yours Kaine said.
The warrior leaped towards the assasin at speeds he couldn't perceive. W…..WHAT! Tao exclaimed. Kaine punched him in the gut with incredible force. The assasin stumbled back but recovered and tried to counter. The saiyan blocked each hit percisley before unleashing 7 well placed punches to Tao's ungaurded gut. He stumbled back again. DODAN RAY! Tao Pai Pai yelled. HYAH! The Battle craving warrior punched through the attack with raw power. WHAT! NO ONE HAS EVER WITHSTOOD MY DODON RAY NOBODY! The mercenary yelled. Yeah that ain't it yo. Kaine said disappointedly. He dashed towards him again. GREAT APE AVALANCHE! He yelled before punching him several times across his face and torso and finished with two balled fists to his chest cracking a few ribs.
Kaine grabbed him by the leg and spun him around before launching him into the air Trunks style. GO BACK TO WHERE YOU CAME FROM TAO! He yelled, launching him back in the direction of the red ribbon base faster than he flew over to them. Your strength is incredible, Kaine! Bora said with awe seeing how effortlessly the boy brutalized a world renowned Assassin. Thanks, I think I'm going to climb this tower though. I'll be back soon! Kaine said before climbing at inhuman speeds. Good luck Kaine! Upa yelled. That boy is something special, Bora Said.
Kaine would be lying if he said he didn't fear the challenge that awaited him. But the saiyan blood in his veins made the challenge more exciting. Though he had only trained for a few hours in the gravity chamber he grew the slightest bit stronger and his previous strength already made the climbing to easy as he leapt like wukong, clearing multiple towers worth of distances in one jump.

Aight, where is that cat? The energetic warrior asked myself, finally arriving at the top. He walked up to the top floor to see the white fluff in all of its glory. Hi, my name's Kaine, I came in search of the sacred divine water. He said in a friendly tone. Hello, I am Korin, the keeper of this tower. The cat responded. So you're Korin. Kaine said inquisitively. So do you have the sacred water? Kaine asked. Yes. But why do you seek it? Korin asked. To grow strong enough to defeat incoming future threats to my home planet and live life to the fullest. He responded.
Korin paused to read the warriors mind. Within its depths he saw planet vegeta exploding, the evil Emperor Freiza laughing and silhouettes of other threats Kaine would soon face. A bug looking thing and something with an antennae. Oh my. The Wise cat said. Such a troubled past and a troubled future. Your goals seem selfish from the surface but your intentions are light hearted and noble. Very well, go grab it then kid. The wise cat said.
Kaine walked over to grab the water, slowing down a bit when grabbing it, watching as in a fraction of a second, Korin attempted to jab him with his staff. Kaine blocked the hit and jumped away quickly. You could've just said no the first time, He replied in an agitated tone. Go ahead kid, grab it. The teasing cat said again. Saiyan excepted the challenge and quickly dashed for it again. Having it in his hands before Korin's feet even left the ground. WHAT! The cat exclaimed. The only other man that could take the water from me was Master Roshi. You did it in record time too! The cat further elaborated. I anticipated your move by reading your breath. Kaine replied. Amazing kid you've earned it. The wise furball said.
Also, do you have any food? I haven't eaten in 8 fucking hours. Kaine said while scratching the back of his head comically. Yeah sure here ya go kid. He handed the senzu bean off the tower. FUCK YOU! Kaine exclaimed before jumping off the tower. He grabbed it but decided to fall to the bottom opting to climb back up to pass time while he thought over his next moves. Kaine looked at the bean and questioned if it could actually nourish him like the show said. Now what is a be- HOLY WOW THAT'S GOOD! He exclaimed. How many calories are in this thing? Kaine said, shocked. He floated back up half an hour later. Marvelous speed kid. Korin said before tossing the divine water into his hands. Kaine drank the sacred water in one gulp. This tastes like tap water. He said, unenthused. That's because it is tap water HAHAHA! The cat said, beginning to laugh.
The original intent of getting the water is that you would become stronger from doing the tasks. Your strength is already exceptional and you seem to already possess the wisdom. Good luck on the rest of your journey Kaine. Korin said. Thank you for everything Master Korin. Kaine said, bowing. He flew back down to the sacred land.
Another pink pillar crashed down at the sacred land. Where is that boy! Tao Pai Pai exclaimed to Bora and Upa. I don't know what Kaine's doing, but I know he's getting stronger. Bora replied. Fine, I will kill you two to bring him out. He will pay for embarrassing the great Tao Pai Pai. STAY BACK! Bora yelled throwing his spear which Tao Pai Pai Caught. Its futile. He said before throwing it back at a speed Bora couldn't dodge. A black blur suddenly stopped the spears motion with the point being mere inches from Bora's heart. Kaine? Bora said shocked. Or I could just kill you this time. Kaine said, staring at Tao with barely contained rage. AGH! YOU AGAIN! Tao exclaimed. YOU WILL PAY FOR EMBARRASSING ME! The mercenary said angrily.
Kaine you're back! Upa yelled excitedly. I'll give you 3 seconds Tao, stop being an insecure bastard and leave or never breathe manually again. YOU DARE MOCK ME! The mercenary yelled while charging towards the warrior. He dodged his attack by flipping backwards and kicking him into the air with the heels of both of his boots. He jumped behind the assasin in less than a second and landed a tornado kick launching him into the nearby forest.
He floated down, meeting Tao again. The assassin got back on his feet and charged ahead again but got each of his attacked parried. ARGH, OW! HOW DARE Y- The saiyan interrupted the assassin landing attacks faster than lightning across the assasins face, torso before landing several kicks to his face and finishing with a roundhouse kick. While the man was staggered he uppercutted him into the air. ROARING THUNDER: WRATH OF THE APE! Kaine yelled, opting to use a new Technique. What looked to be several clones of Kaine attacked Tao Pai Pai in the shape of a lightning bolt several times over. ARGH! The mercenary yelled. The powerful warrior finished with a double knee drop kick, teen titans robin style to the man's spine. ARGHH! He yelled.
Tao tried using dirty tactics and threw a rock at Upa to distract him but his dad tackled him out of the way. Kaine looked up and saw the assasin running up the tower. Kaine watched the man like a vulture before suddenly shooting his same move at him. DODAN RAY!! He yelled, blasting the assasin with explosive force, nuking the asassin. Sayanora, Kaine said sarcastically. I appreciate your help Bora and Upa. I will make sure to visit you two again someday, goodbye. He said flying away. Goodbye Kaine! Upa yelled, waving at him. The friendly warrior waved back at his new friend.
