Ashelia woke up with her lids feeling heavy. She blinked up at her brightly lit ceiling a few times before rubbing her eyes and wincing at the sharp prick it caused.
They hurt. How long was she crying for until she fell asleep? She turned her head toward one of her windows as she shifted her weight on the large bed.
Just as she was starting to regain clarity, what happened the day before, after she had frozen her bathroom door was a bit hazy.
Ashelia pouted at the sight outside her window. Why was she awake at this hour? The sun was barely up, it was still so early in the morning.
As she continued to admire the orange hue of the sky that was colored by the rising sun, realization slowly dawned on her.
Wait... yesterday? Morning? Ashelia's eyes widened, and she immediately sat up in bed, looking around her room wildly. Her pearl white hair was almost just as messy as her room.
'When did I fall asleep?'
