Fabian only clicked his tongue with his eyes trailing her as Zelphina made her escape. His eyes casually flicked to the spot where she had bitten him and saw a trickle of blood stained his thumb.
He stared at it for a moment, and then, in a few seconds, his skin started to mend itself until there was no injury. A small, blue flame flickered and burnt away the blood on his skin without harming him.
Fabian took another glance in the direction Zelphina had run off, then he scoffed and turned away as he continued toward Duke Orlan's office.
He knew he would see her again, and next time, she wouldn't slip away so easily unless she provided proper answers to all his questions.
And if she continued to be so stubborn, he would definitely get rid of her to eliminate any risk.
