Chapter 5 : Human-Beast Taming"Who are you guys?"
Suddenly, a man descends from the rooftop of the alleyway using a cartoonish arrow.
"That was some insane play! Are you some kind of special beast..?!"
Shiro sees the man as his eyes widen.
The man with the eye patch steps forward toward Shiro, who is still lying down.
He pulls out a gun and aims it at Shiro's head.
SHIRO : "EH..?!"
Kui steps in and blocks the gun.
KUI : "OKAY OKAY! RELAX!"
The man with an eye-patch looks at Kui with disgust.
"You're going to spare him?"
Kui looks at the man with desperate eyes.
KUI : "HE'S AN ALLY! HE SAVED MY LIFE THIS MORNING ON MY SCOUTING!"
The man puts the gun away.
"Huh.."
Shiro sits up.
"What are you?" the man with an eyepatch asks. Shiro looks up at him.
Another one steps in, a woman with black hair smoking a cigarette.
"Beast or not, he's cute~" the woman says, as she drags her cigarette.
The man with glasses, who was eating a Pocky stick, walks closer towards Shiro and inspects his body. He begins checking his armpit, his legs, his torso.
SHIRO : "He-.. Hey!"
"He seems human, alright.." the man in glasses says.
The man with an eye-patch looks at Shiro in disgust.
"I've only heard of such rumors of a human beast hybrid, he's an interesting one~" a man with blonde hair says with a smirk on his face.
"Hm. Cuff him, we'll send him over to HQ." the man with an eye-patch says before walking away.
"Gotcha!" said the man who had descended earlier with a cartoonish arrow as he had already cuffed Shiro's arms.
SHIRO : "What the-..?!"

Shiro finds himself being escorted within Beast Safety Control's Headquarters. The building was massive and spacious, with multiple facilities and floors that seemed to have over 10 stories.
They lock him up in an interrogation room.
The group looks after him through the one-way glass within the viewing section of the interrogation room Shiro is being held for the moment.
The 6th Division of Beast Safety Control, consisting of 6 members, all with extensive experience within Beast Hunting.
"Kui, where did you find him?" the man with an eye-patch said.
MEET : Amuro Kishiooshi, the leader of Division 6, 21-year-old Beast Safety Control Hunter. A man with an eye patch on his right eye, known as "Kill Bill." Not much is known about Amuro within Beast Safety Control, other than being a skilled hunter.
KUI : "Uh-.. Ju- Just this morning! He saved my life during my morning scout!"
"What even is he..?" the woman asked.
MEET : Reiwa Minaken, right-hand wing of Division 6. As a woman, she is exceptionally talented at her job and is looked up to by her peers. Reiwa enjoys smoking whenever she gets the chance; it is one of her highlights as a hunter.
KUI : "I- I don-"- Kui gets cut off.
"It's hard to specify what he is. He has the features of a human, but he has similar features to a beast during his slaughtering," the man adjusts his glasses while watching footage of Shiro butchering the beast from the alleyway.
MEET : Bunnosuke Aono, also known as "Bun," is the informant and the 'nerd' of Division 6. He may not be physically built to be a hunter, but his intelligence compensates for it.
Reiwa steps in closer to Bunnosuke to watch the footage as well.
REIWA : "Eh..? His body even regenerated, too."
The footage shows Shiro stabbing his torso and his eyes.
"I've only heard of such rumors, of a Human shifting beast existing even while having their humanity," the man with blonde hair says.
MEET : Yuzuma Nagayo,also known as "Yuu". He is recognized for his exceptional hand-to-hand combat abilities, often considered the primary fighter of Division 6.
KUI : "I don't even know what he is..! He just told me that.. strange things started happening to him after his girlfriend died."
"Maybe his girlfriend cursed him?" a boy is lying down on a floating cartoonish arrow, expressing his thoughts.
MEET : Tobio Hebihara, left-hand wing of Division 6. At just 16 years old, he is quite young to be a hunter, but his Vision Ability, "Directional," makes him an exception.
YUZUMA: "Pay some respects to the dead, man."
TOBIO : "It's a what if, plus anything is possible!"
- Tobio says as he continues resting on his cartoonish arrow.
REIWA : "So.. what's the plan?"
- She asks Amuro.
AMURO : "I don't know yet."
REIWA "Did you put him here expecting you'd make up for something along the way..?!"
- She jokingly says to Amuro.
BUNNOSUKE : "I say we experiment him!"
(KUI) : "WHA-..?! HE'S HUMAN TOO, Y'KNOW?!"
- Kui screams at Bunnosuke.
AMURO : "We don't have the permit for that, nor do we have the permission to do so. So calm your brains out, Bun."
BUNNOSUKE : "Aww.."
- Bunnosuke had a pouting face.
YUZUMA : "Let's just leave this to Ms. Shoya."BUNNOSUKE : "YOU'LL LET MS. SHOYA EXPERIMENT ON HIM BUT NOT ME..?!"
- He says with a pleading face, almost tearing up from the jealousy.
YUZUMA : "Hehe.. sorry, Bun, but Ms. Shoya definitely has more experience in this.."
BUNNOSUKE : "I can't believe you guys."
- Bunnosuke turns around and corners himself.
REIWA : "I think it's best we leave this one with the higher-ups. We can't decide rationally here, especially knowing he could be a threat if he loses control."
AMURO : "Send him to a facility-cell, I'll write up a report about tonight, and I'll send it over tomorrow."
REIWA : "Gotcha, boss!"
- She turns around towards the group.
REIWA : "You hear him, boys! Get yo' asses moving!"
Yuzuma, Kui, and Bunnosuke begin walking towards the exit door. Leaving only Amuro, Reiwa, and Tobio, who was still lying down on his cartoonish arrow.

"Alright, time to move!"
Shiro hears a loud door opening in front of him.
SHIRO : "Ha..?"- He says, half-asleep.
YUZUMA : "Did you fall asleep..?"
KUI : "He kinda passes out for a few hours after using his beast powers.."
- Shiro looked confused.
SHIRO : "Am I gonna get killed..?"
BUNNOSUKE : "No no~ Maybe experimented on though.."
SHIRO : "HUH..?!"
KUI : "OKAY! OKAY! Let's not scare him!"
- Shiro looks over at Kui.
SHIRO : "Kui, I'm still confused about what is even happening or who these people are."
KUI : "They- They're my colleages! We work in the same division.."
SHIRO : "Am I about to get executed or what?"
KUI : "No-"
BUNNOSUKE : "If only I can experiment on those skin."
SHIRO : "And who are you?"BUNNOSUKE : "Bunn-o-su-ke! or call me Buns.."
SHIRO : "Buns..?"
- Yuzume suddenly grabs Shiro's handcuffs from his back and drags him to move out the door.
YUZUME : "Okay, okay, save the introductions later."
SHIRO : "HEY! HEY! LET GO OF ME!"
- Shiro gets dragged towards his facility-cell, where he will be locked down until tomorrow or so. As Kui and Bunnosuke watch him get dragged by Yuzume.

The next day, morning. Amuro knocks on the door before entering the office.
The woman sitting in her office chair says, "Good morning."
MEET : Yoriha Kotoi, the manager of Beast Safety Control.
AMURO : "Good morning, Ms. Yoriha."
- Yoriha stands up from her chair.
YORIHA : "What brings you in this early?"
- She says, tilting her head sideways.
AMURO : "I'm here to drop off the report from last night's encounter."
YORIHA : "Encounter?"- Amuro hands her the report file folder.- Yoriha inspects it and reads some parts of it.
YORIHA : "I see.."
AMURO : "We've encountered a-.. Human-Beast man that had slaughtered the beast we were set to find for last night's scouting."
AMURO : "The man is currently locked up within one of our facility cells, temporarily."
YORIHA : "Hm."
AMURO : "My division decided to leave the decision on what to do with the man to you, Ms. Yoriha."
- Yoriha takes some time to think while looking out towards the window.
YORIHA : "I think we should tame it."
- Amuro had a surprised look on his face as he heard this.
AMURO : "S- Sorry, Tame?"
YORIHA : "Mhm! Let's tame the Human-Beast, who knows? He might be a good addition for us."
- She said with a smile.
AMURO : "I- I still don't trust him, Ms. Yoriha. What would happen if he.. maybe loses control of his beast-side?"
YORIHA : "Then.. we'll have a bounty up on his head! That way, even if he's in his human form, he can still be hunted."
- Amuro was speechless.
YORIHA : "Take him here, I'd like to meet our Human-Beast."
AMURO : "Sure, Ms. Yoriha."

Shiro hears the iron gate from his facility cell open.
SHIRO : Yawn "Am I free now?"
AMURO : "Get up, Ms. Yoriha would like to meet you."
SHIRO : "Who's that..?"
AMURO : "Manager of Chiba's Beast Safety Control."
Shiro walks with Amuro, only wearing a black shirt and pajamas that were included within the facility cell he was held in.
SHIRO : "Can I at least get these handcuffs off of me?"
AMURO : "It's for safety purposes."
SHIRO : "Look, I can't even kill you if I wanted, cause I can only use my beast abilities when I'm severely injured.."
AMURO : "Huh?"
SHIRO : "I had to stab myself in both my eyes and my chest to activate it last night."
SHIRO : "I don't really know how it fully works, but probably whenever I lose plenty of blood."
AMURO : "So, it's almost impossible to kill you in your human form without activating it?"
SHIRO : "Probably."
The two arrive in Yoriha's office.

YORIHA: "Good morning, Human-Beast."
"Do not trust her."

SHIRO : "Wha..?"- Shiro had a blank stare.
YORIHA : "Huh? Did I say something wrong?"
- Shiro snaps back into reality.
SHIRO : "S- Sorry! I'm still a bit sleepy."
YORIHA : "Hm. My name's Yoriha Kotoi, I am the manager and lead of Chiba's Beast Safety Control. You may refer to me as, Ms. Yoriha."
SHIRO : "Ms. Yoriha.. Well, call me Shiro, Shiro Hiyoshi."
SHIRO : "Ms. Yoriha.. why did you want to see me?"
YORIHA : "It is an odd request."
SHIRO : "Request..?"
YORIHA : "You, are a beast, but seem to take shape more as a Human, am I wrong?"
SHIRO : "I-.. I'm human, until I found out about my.. beast abilities."
YORIHA : "Exactly! And I'd like you to join Beast Safety Control."
SHIRO : "HUH..?! And I was here thinking you'd kill me yourself!"
YORIHA : "Don't be silly, I'm only asking you to show your humanity."
SHIRO : "My humanity..?"
"Do not trust her."
"Do not trust her."
"Listen to me, do not trust her."

Shiro looks down and covers his eyes.
SHIRO : "Fuck..!"
YORIHA : "Hm? What's the matter?"
- Shiro looks up at Yoriha.
SHIRO : "Sorry.. I'm still a little dizzy."
YORIHA : "Would you like some medicine to treat your headache?"
SHIRO : "That'd be nice.."
- Yoriha opens her desk's cabinet, taking out some pills before handing it to Shiro.

Before Shiro grabs the pill from Yoriha's hands, he passes out onto the desk.
