Having gained a mysterious "foster mother," Roy returned to the Starry Garden with mixed feelings. Unsurprisingly, he was interrogated by Lyu. If Roy had been disrespectful to a royal elf like Riveria, he surely would have faced a "punishment" from Lyu's fists.
When she learned Roy had mastered two defensive spells, Lyu's eyes softened. "Since Lady Riveria taught them to you, use them well from now on."
With the flexible Via Shilves and the powerful barrier Wia Fenics, Roy's final weaknesses were covered. He was now a true "All-Rounder." He had area-of-effect attacks with Bright Wind and the Holy Elven Sword's Burning Heavens, healing with Noah Heal, and his explosive burst skill Blood for Blood. He could play any role on the battlefield.
A few days later, the injuries Roy sustained from the Floor Boss, Amphisbaena, had mostly healed. His skin had been scorched, bones broken, and internal organs damaged. For an ordinary person, such injuries would mean lying down and waiting for death. But a Level 3 adventurer was nearing "superhuman" standards. With potions and healing magic, Roy was back to normal within a month.
In the courtyard of the Starry Garden, two figures blurred as the crisp sound of clashing metal rang out. It was Roy and Lyu. With the celebrations over, everyone returned to their daily routines—the most important being acclimating to their new post-level-up strength.
Roy, Lyu, Daphne, and Cassandra took turns sparring. It was similar to the Freya Familia's "Battle Wilderness"—improving through constant combat. If you didn't die, you kept fighting.
During his matches with Lyu, Roy felt the overwhelming power of a Level 5. It was a completely different dimension compared to Level 4. Without external aids, an earnest Lyu could one-shot him in three moves. A sapient adventurer of the same level was undoubtedly more dangerous than a monster.
Occasionally, Roy and Lyu would spar with Daphne and Cassandra. Cassandra was often beaten into tears, yet they gritted their teeth and persisted. The battle on the 25th floor had shown them the massive gap between them and the true monsters. Moreover, since Roy and Lyu were progressing so quickly, they knew they would be left behind if they didn't work hard.

Upon leveling up, Cassandra gained the Development Ability [Healing], strengthening her recovery magic. Daphne's status was even more impressive; she gained [Abnormal Resistance], as the incident where the Enhanced Siren manipulated adventurers with her song had left a deep impression. She also awakened new skills and magic.
Her magic, Lauros, was a protection spell that boosted her Endurance and Agility, scaling with her Magic stat. The chant—"The pursuing sun of the sky. Everything is to escape your body. Bloom, Armor of the Laurel!"—showed just how much trauma the Apollo Familia's pursuit had left on her. Her new skill, Laurel Rebirth, consumed stamina to massively boost Endurance when near death.
With both magic and skills focused on Endurance, she was hurtling down the path of a "Tank."
Near dusk, Astraea returned from the Denatus (Gods' Meeting) with a gentle smile. Daphne and Cassandra looked at her expectantly, eager to hear the titles the Gods had given them.
Astraea smiled. "Daphne's title is [Laurel Runner], and Cassandra's is [Dream Healer]. They sound quite nice."
"Aaaaahhh!" The two girls let out a cry of shame. These titles were embarrassing; adventurers would surely shout them out the moment they stepped outside. Which God had come up with these?
Lyu and Roy's titles remained unchanged. They didn't care much anyway; titles were like names—the more you heard them, the more they grew on you. Roy no longer felt the shame he once did.
The arrival of the titles lightened the training atmosphere. Lyu went to handle the household chores, while Astraea, Daphne, and Cassandra prepared dinner.
Taking a moment for himself, Roy had one more thing to do: open the treasure chest dropped by the Amphisbaena. Every chest opening was a highlight for him. In this life, his luck had always been excellent. Roy clicked "Open Chest." A special effect only he could see played out—a chest made of pure silver slowly opened, and several panels popped up.
[Silver Chest opened. Congratulations! You have obtained: LV.7 Experience Card, Orchid Perfume, Phantom Mask!]
LV.7 Experience Card: Temporarily raises Level and stats to LV.7 for 30 minutes.
Orchid Perfume: A high-grade perfume that restores mental energy and clears the mind.
Phantom Mask (Epic): Distorts the wearer's presence, making it impossible for others to discern their build, appearance, or even the skills and magic they use.
Roy froze, his eyes flickering. These items were incredible, especially the LV.7 Experience Card—at this stage, it was like a boosted version of Haruhime's level-boosting magic. And the Phantom Mask was, in some ways, superior to Asfi's Hades Headpiece.
After ten minutes of pondering, a plan formed in his mind. He felt a surge of exhilaration. He knew exactly what to do with these items.
He hadn't forgotten being set up by that "crazy woman" Freya in the Dungeon. He had nearly died. It was impossible not to feel resentment. Roy's "Grit" was at its limit. If he didn't strike back, he wouldn't be able to live with himself.
The Freya Familia was too strong—Ottar (LV.7), three LV.6 executives, and countless LV.5 and LV.4 adventurers. They could wipe out Astraea Familia with a single squad. Usually, he'd have to swallow his pride and wait for a future opportunity. But with these silver chest rewards?
Maybe he could actually pull off a heist against her!
