Chapter 3 - The Milk of Comfort

The door opened slowly and Ruby appeared in the doorway. A discreet smile formed on my lips. Ruby... In the whirlwind of my two intertwined lives, she was one of the few people who remained clear, untouched, in my memories.

She entered, closing the door quietly behind her. The moment she was there, the tranquil calm she always carried with her silenced the storm in my head. Ruby was not human; she was a half-beast, from the centaur tribe of the continent of Arcadia. Two small black horns, smooth like obsidian, protruded from her short brown hair. Her brown eyes, huge and gentle, looked at me as if I were the only thing that mattered in the world. Her mature woman's body, with its full and round curves, exuded warmth and protection. Her heavy breasts, wide hips, strong arms... everything about her made you want to snuggle up, to let yourself be engulfed.

A slave purchased by the Paragon family to replace the mother I had killed at birth, she had always been much more than that to me. My nanny, my confidante, the mother I had never had in either life.

"Kaiser, my little one..." she whispered in that warm voice that erased everything.

Her smile widened when she saw my reddened eyes. I hadn't even needed to force the tears, the frustration was real. She approached, unhurried, and wrapped me in her arms. Her abundant breasts pressed against my chest, soft, hot, scented with wild honey. I rested my head against her and let the feigned panic fade slowly.

"Shh, my treasure. Everything is fine now. Mommy is here."

We stayed like that for a long time. A very long time.

"Rumors are already spreading through the streets," she whispered, stroking my silver hair with her large, soft hand. "The awakening... Mediocre Rank."

There was no reproach in her voice. Just a hint of sorrow for me. I lowered my eyes. In Kaiser Paragon's memories, a Mediocre Rank was an absolute shame, a sentence to a second-rate life. Me... I didn't really care. But it was the perfect opening.

"Everyone must be rejoicing," I said, my voice intentionally broken. "Especially my older brother. One less rival in his way."

Ruby slowly shook her head. Her eyes took on that intensity I knew all too well, the yandere flame, the one that consumed everything to protect me.

"What they think doesn't matter, Kaiser. All that matters is what you will become."

I raised my eyes, the mask of fragile doubt perfectly in place.

"And what can a Mediocre Rank become in this world, Ruby?"

A knowing smile stretched her lips. She knew. She had always known when I was playing.

"There are other paths, my little one. Forces that the nobles despise because they don't understand them." She took my hand in hers, immense and warm. "You know what can give you courage again. And more. What can make you strong. Truly strong."

I pretended to hesitate, to be lost.

"A potion? An artifact?"

She stood up, walked to the nightstand, and ignored the pitcher of water. Then she returned to face me, upright, determined.

"No, my treasure. Something much simpler. And much more precious." Her eyes sparkled. "My milk."

Silence fell. I stared at her, mouth slightly open, playing the part of surprise perfectly. Inside, the triumph was icy. I remembered the novel perfectly: the colostrum of Arcadia's centaurs was charged with vital magic. Physical enhancement, purification, and sometimes... revelation of hidden potentials. That's why Kaiser's original body was already above average, despite his "mediocre talent."

"Your... milk?" I repeated, my throat supposedly tight.

She nodded, absolute gentleness.

"Yes. It carries all my strength. It can purify your body, make it stronger, and perhaps reveal what the ceremony couldn't see." She knelt before me, placed her warm hand on my cheek. "Let me help you, Kaiser. I can't bear to see you suffer."

I gazed into her large brown eyes. I saw mad love, total devotion, burning possessiveness. I took a deep breath, letting her scent of honey and meadow fill me.

"Okay, Ruby," I whispered. "I'll do it."

Her face lit up. A radiant, victorious, tender, and yet frightening smile. She stood up. With a slow, almost ceremonial gesture, she untied the laces of her simple dress. The fabric slid over her shoulders, revealing her heavy, magnificent breasts. Dark skin, round and full breasts, wide and dark areolas. A drop already glistened at the tip of her right nipple.

She gently took me by the neck and guided me towards her.

I closed my lips around her breast.

"Hnn~... Hmmm..." she moaned softly, her cheeks flushing.

The taste exploded in my mouth: rich, creamy, wild honey and meadow flowers. An immediate warmth flowed down my throat, radiated into my chest, and spread through every fiber of my body like a beneficial liquid fire.

She held me very tightly against her, almost suffocating me in her maternal warmth.

So, this is what it's like to be reincarnated into an erotic MILF novel?, I thought with an ironic smile, my mouth full.

"There, my little one... Now, you are mine. And no one will ever hurt you again."

Having a MILF with a yandere-level maternal syndrome... honestly, there are worse things to be reincarnated as. Her milk comforted me.
