I made my way towards the east wing sitting room. She wasn't in the sitting room, as expected. I immediately knew where she could be.
Waiting.
I made it to the elevator, and walked through the halls. I caught side of my east wing room door, and I made it inside.
The lights were off, and my lips mamaged to curve into a slow glimpse of a smile when my nose caught the scent of her perfume.
The door was already open, awaiting my arrival.
Aveline was there, waiting, and everything about her was designed to draw attention. I hated that it worked. My hands itched, and my body responded in ways I despised, but my mind refused to entertain it for long. Not when someone else kept pulling at the edges of my thoughts.
Nara.
Except that, I wouldn't want to see her.
