Chapter 1: The System Demands A Divorce
When Xiao Mei woke up, she was in a hospital room. On the bedside table lay various fruits and a Divorce Agreement. Her husband, Liang, sat scrolling on his phone.
Liang looked up as she opened her eyes and began speaking immediately. "Xiao Mei, let's get a divorce. I'll transfer 100 million to your card. I love your sister, Li Wei."
Suddenly, a screen materialized before Xiao Mei's eyes, and a system voice spoke.
[Hello, Xiao Mei. You have fallen into a novel. To return to your original world, Liang must fall truly in love with you.]
Hearing this, Xiao Mei mentally shouted at the System, "Are you crazy? What kind of love? I don't want to! Send me back to my world!"

Hearing this, Xiao Mei was overjoyed. She cheered silently. "Don't worry, System! I will definitely complete this mission!"
Liang gestured impatiently. "Sign the document."

"Sign it, and I'll transfer 100 million to your card," Liang repeated.
Xiao Mei stood up, walked closer to Liang, and suddenly burst into fake tears. She cried out, "I love you so much I can't live without you!" She glanced left, spat into her hand, smeared it under her eye to simulate tears, and continued pleading, "Please, let's not get a divorce!"
Seeing her cry, Liang seemed convinced. "I'll give you one more chance," he said.

Suddenly, Liang's phone rang. It was Xiao Mei's sister. The sister cried falsely over the phone, "Brother Liang, I fell down! Please come take care of me. I'm all alone, nobody is here."
Liang immediately stood up. "I'm going to see Li Wei. You can check out of the hospital and go home yourself," he said, and rushed out.
Xiao Mei watched him go, then muttered to herself, "You jerk! You unfaithful scoundrel! Just you wait, you'll see what I do next."
