Chapter 14 - KABOOM!

John waited outside while he floated over the water, and oh boy, was there a lot of water.

Jace had spent almost all of her time doing nothing but creating water. The treasure he got was horrifyingly efficient. In less than a month, this moon went from a dry barren husk to a giant ball of water.

There was so much water, in fact, that you could no longer see the sea floor. The only thing resembling earth were the few mountains poking out of the water here or there.

Most of which were as tall as Mount Everest.

Just as he was taking it all in, he noticed Tiza's presence entering orbit.

She was having a rough landing because she didn't have her ship anymore. Sadly for her, there was no room for it to land, and it wasn't capable of surviving long in the water.

So she had to resort to crash-landing in the water.

BOOM!

John looked her way with a raised brow, almost hoping that fall killed her. Unfortunately, she began floating out of the water a minute later.

'Maybe next time.' John thought.

Who was he kidding? He'd never get rid of her.

[Tiza, good to see you again. I would speak to you through words, but sadly I still don't know your language.]

'Nor am I interested in learning it.'

Tiza just looked at him in a way that made him assume she was embarrassed. Probably about that rough landing.

[It's fine. Are you ready?]

John smirked.

[Congratulations on being—]

As soon as those words came out, John stopped what he was doing. Why? Because he noticed how familiar it sounded.

'Will I gain a reward for this? Of course I will! It's an Earth-Immortal! And it's bound to be an epic one!'

Tiza looked at John curiously as he stood in silence. She still couldn't figure out his species' weird facial movements.

'Is he angry? Or constipated?' she thought.

After a second, John gave up and realized this might've been worth it after all. Sure, he didn't like working with aliens with her kind of background, but it was better than nothing.

[Congradulations on becoming the first Earth-Immortal in a long time… Let's begin.]

After thinking it over, he did the only thing that came to him. He channeled all of the spiritual energy from the surface, turning it from a 3-star moon to a 0.3-star moon in under a minute.

Tiza, meanwhile, began levitating in the air with a big vicious smile on her face. She could feel herself making a breakthrough! Her newfound "level" went from lvl 90 to lvl 121 in an instant!

She could feel the intoxicating feeling of godhood at her fingertips! She could feel the overwhelming force of power! Raw power!

It was too much!

It was way too much! She couldn't handle it!

[Stop! Ahhhhh!]

BOOM!

"Uhhh… huh… whoops." John tried not to hurl as he watched his dear friend Tiza fall into the water with her head splattering in multiple directions.

"Maybe I shouldn't have given her so much spiritual energy at once? Lessons learned I guess." John just shrugged.

John said that as he watched the body of Tiza slowly begin to sink in the water.

[CONGRATULATIONS! YOU HAVE TAKEN YOUR FIRST LIFE!]

[CONGRATULATIONS! YOU HAVE RECEIVED THE REWARD {Cursed Blood}]

John sighed before taking a look at his reward, completely ignoring the body of Tiza who at this point was slowly sinking deeper and deeper.

"Let's check out the new reward!" He cheered loudly now that there was oxygen in the air.

{Cursed Blood: This is a special bloodline you can grant unlimitedly to anyone born on any of your connected moons or your own world. This bloodline grants the following:

-50% lifespan.

Sunlight is potentialy lethal to them.

Soft bones.

Marked for an untimely death.}

John just pressed his lips together.

"Well, at least I got something. Better than nothing, I guess… How do I explain this to the others though?" John had a major headache coming on.

'Well, they think I'm some supreme being from galaxies far away, so it's not like they can do anything against me.' John thought to himself.

He still didn't know if all of this was a dream, but he was starting to think he had actually been isekai'd. Did this change his opinion on murder?

Not really.

At least not for aliens.

The difference between the two was like heaven and earth. One was tall, lanky, and covered in scales. What's worse is that these creatures only had two facial expressions:

A creepy vicious-looking smile, or default.

They weren't worth sharing his empathy either way, that's for sure.

"What do I do about them?"

John looked at the sky and stared at the incoming shuttle coming his way.

The main ship couldn't land on the moon, so the Fourchans were forced to bring the only thing that could.

Once the shuttle landed, John shifted his projection to the island the shuttle landed on.

Of course, the thing was a rust bucket.

John wondered if the thing was even capable of getting off the moon. Thankfully the oracle was the first to get off, so she must've been confident in its ability.

The oracle looked around and noticed the polluted spiritual energy, confirming her earlier vision.

Yes, she knew her "Empress" would most likely not survive. Of course, there was a slim chance she could be wrong, but the odds were still in her favor.

"So, the bitch is dead." the oracle spoke through her rusted helmet.

John sighed in relief, thankful nobody was upset.

It wasn't surprising.

After reading through the Akashic Records, he basically had a live feed of almost everything in the multiverse in newspaper format.

He used it from time to time to read about the local galaxy—but mostly the Fourchans.

"You look as relieved as we do. Worried we would be upset?" the oracle questioned.

"Nonsense. This is my grieving face. But seeing as you're not so upset, I suppose I should congratulate you?" John just chuckled at his statement.

He knew his facial movements were confusing to most Fourchans, but he was also aware that nothing could get past an oracle, so she likely saw through him from the very beginning. Either way, he saw no reason to explain himself.

"Hmph, if you say so… when will the spiritual energy be purified? We need an Earth-Immortal."

John guessed she was signing herself up for that opportunity.

After thinking it over, he wondered if he should bother telling her the truth or tricking her.

John thought it over and figured tricking her was a waste of time.

Trick an oracle?

Yeah, right.

He had better luck just admitting he was going to take the spiritual energy for himself. Just as he had that thought, he noticed the oracle—whose name he had forgotten—grow angry, but before she could say anything John had already guessed what the future him would do.

So she did the only thing she could do. She fled.

"So, that is what I plan to do… Very well."

And with that, John told the system to transfer all the spiritual energy to his main body, thereby regaining energy equivalent to a 3-star planet.

All she could do was rage and scream as she ran.

John was a bit confused until he noticed the shuttle closing its hatchway.

Sadly for her, before she could reach the shuttle and pry open the hatch, the shuttle was already lifting off and flying into the distance.

"NOOOOOOO!!! TRAITOOOORS!!!" she screamed!

John just looked on in amusement. He figured she would be dead soon enough without enough air.

In the meantime, he wanted to read the Akashic Record to see what happened and why her subordinates would betray them.

Just as he was about to leave, the sky suddenly turned red. While the oracle looked up in horror, John was just as baffled.

"What the shit?" he said.

The ship exploded… just like that? Shuttle and all?

He continued staring at the fiery remains as the ship came hurtling down in a giant ball of fury. Coincidentally, it was heading right for them.

John figured the oracle was basically as good as dead now, so he left her to her devices.

"I have a feeling I had more to do with this than I think… or more likely a certain little girl and her accomplices."

Just as he said that, he found a few women hanging out on his bed grinning ear to ear.

Maria, Sofia, Jace, and Susan had a lot of explaining to do.
