During the same time, Clad was training his swordsmanship outside in the park, where he fought against the blind lightning sword arts user Drohas. eventually feeling like he's getting closer to becoming a swordmaster, one of the first goals to reach the peak of sword mastery a mortal being could achieve, but he concluded that he needed more training and experience.
He sighed as he felt like his flower sword arts were getting rusty and needed a sparring partner to keep them from rusting any further, when suddenly a voice could be heard from behind him.
"If you're looking for a sparring partner, I could be one for you." The man calmly said.
!?
"What the hell!?"
"For how long was he here!" Clad thought as he looked at the man wearing all black behind a tree, barely visible to the naked eye.
"I didn't even feel his presence..."
"Seems like I do in fact need more training, especially my senses..."
The man approached Clad, not even making the slightest of sounds as he stepped forward and unsheathed his blade.
"Let's start."
The two began their spar, as Clad positioned himself, then rushed in within a split second, swung his blade at the man, but he dodged it with little to no effort by stepping to the side. The swordsman proceeded to swing again and again, but to no avail, no matter the attack he threw, the darkly clothed man would simply avoid it either by parrying it with his short sword or dodging.
"It's been 5 minutes, and I haven't even landed a single attack yet!"
"Damn it!" Clad thought, frustrated by the fact that Omen didn't even break a sweat yet.
He thought of using his sword arts, as he seemed to be quite a challenge for him, and proceeded with that thought. He channeled his energy to enhance his body and blade to face the new wall in front of him.
