Current Skills: Basic Combat Technique, Eldian Language Mastery

The panel's information had changed.

After receiving the enhancement from Basic Combat Technique, Evan's physical stats had doubled already far beyond an average adult.

With his current strength, taking down a grown man would be effortless.

But…

"What good does this even do?"

Evan frowned, displeased.

In a peaceful modern world, this kind of physical boost would've made him ecstatic.

But the problem was this was the world of Titans.

Even the weakest Pure Titan had strength hundreds of times greater than a human.

Muttering angrily under his breath, his gaze fell on the cold transformation rod in his hand.

His heart remained unsettled.

Even though he had the mentality of someone in his twenties, the idea that he could suddenly transform into Ultraman Tiga was something no one could accept instantly.

After hesitating for a long while, Evan finally decided to leave this place.

People always said that the higher you stand, the colder the wind and standing atop a fifty-meter wall was freezing.

When he turned around, he spotted a lift platform not far away, roughly the size of a freight elevator likely used by soldiers to transport cannons.

Evan walked toward it.

But just as he took two steps

BOOM!

A deafening explosion erupted behind him.

A wave of scorching heat blasted against his back.

If not for his newly enhanced physique, that heat alone would've blistered his skin instantly.

Evan's heart sank.

No way…

It couldn't be this coincidental, right?

His movements stiffened as he turned around.

And there it was

An enormous skeletal face, nearly eight meters tall, exhaling thick white steam into the sky.

Its mouth opened and closed, as if ready to swallow the world whole.

Evan's pupils shrank.

That was the Colossal Titan, the very one that kicked open the gate in episode one!

Meanwhile, inside Shiganshina District, surrounded by Wall Maria

Crowds had been bustling happily a moment earlier, going about their daily routines.

But the instant the massive skull appeared over the wall, silence swept the entire street.

It was as if time froze.

Only after several seconds did a terrified scream finally slice through the air:

"That's a Titan!!!"

Panic erupted instantly.

"A Titan! It's a Titan!"

"They're real? Titans are real?!"

"How can something this huge exist?!"

"Is… is that really a Titan?!"

People were so shocked that many couldn't even speak properly.

Not a single person thought to flee; they stood like puppets, staring at the massive skull atop the wall.

But while the people were frozen, the Colossal Titan was not.

Without giving anyone a chance to react, the sixty-meter giant drew back its right leg preparing to kick.

Then

BOOOOM!!!

An explosion of dust erupted across hundreds of meters near the gate.

Wood fragments and stone chunks shot through the air like deadly meteors.

Countless stunned civilians were pierced before they even understood what was happening.

Even as bodies fell and blood splattered across the ground, the majority of people still hadn't moved.

Or rather, they had already forgotten how to move.

After nearly two minutes, the dust settled.

The steam slowly dissipated.

And finally, people began to see what had happened.

A terrifying Titan face with a twisted grin emerged from the clearing fog.

Behind it stood the shattered remains of the gate now a gaping ten-meter-wide breach.

"Th-the wall… the wall is broken!!!"

"Run !!"

"Titans are coming in!"

"Run! RUN!!!"

"They're going to eat us!!"

Panic exploded.

People finally snapped out of their daze and bolted to escape.

But it was already too late.

Down one of the streets near the gate, an unfortunate civilian had already been grabbed by a Titan.

Their screams were hysterical, deafening until they were shoved into the Titan's smiling mouth.

Blood mixed with saliva rained onto the pavement from above.

Nearby civilians collapsed in terror, their legs turning to jelly.

Their bodies moved only through raw survival instinct, stumbling and scrambling in complete chaos.

Among those fleeing

Was Evan Cross, who had just descended from the wall via the lift.

No one could possibly understand Evan's feelings right now.

He wanted to look up at the sky and scream:

This is too damn much…

Other people who transmigrated got mansions, beauties, or at least a moment to breathe.

But him?

He transmigrated straight into a Titan annihilation event.

Just moments earlier, he had watched a living human ripped in half by two Titans intestines spilling onto the ground in front of him.

How was any normal person supposed to handle that?!
